Chargers

I bought a car charger and the wall for my video, but the clip gets really hot at the same time.  Could someone please offer what to recommend, I really want to fry my clip.  Thank you!

There are a lot of posts on this point - you can do a search using the search box at the top left.

Basically, a charger with USB mini-B plug to put in place the Clip should be fine.  He must have a voltage of 5V output (more fry the Clip); amperage should not be a problem because the Clip will take what needs it (amperage or a little less 500 mAmp. sufficient; is thinner).  MacAlly and DLO, among other things, make the Chargers that work; Wal-Mart also sells a variety of Chargers that are very good, as noted in the posts here.  There are also hordes of Chargers without name out there that should work (available on eBay, Amazon.com, etc.), although there may be a greater quality control problems with names without.

Many cellular car and GPS Chargers work fine as well.

A good quality of 12 v to 5 V USB adapter is fine, such as Griffin or InCase. Store lists Apple adapter number and everything that you get from Apple has been tested and certified by Apple. Avoid cheap imitations. And unplug the adapter when starting the car unless the car is a hybrid.

EDIT: For the iPad, the adapter should provide at least 2 amps (10 watts).

My iPad will not normally charge.  I tried different cables and Chargers.  I plugged the iPad to iTunes and reset a DFU.  After only a few hours the iPad finished reloading all software and reloaded new apps, it had also charged the battery but the problem remains, I still can't load the iPad normally.  Any help out there?

There are very few things that keep loading an iPad. Some of these (other charger plugged into a good outlet, different cable) you have already tried. Others are:

1 dirt, lint or fuzz in the port of loading of the charger or the iPad. Check and clean carefully if necessary.

    2. a software failure. Reset the iPad. Press and hold the Home button and the sleep/wake button until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the appliance restarts. You lose no data by doing this. It's like a restart of the computer.

    3. failure. Make an appointment at an Apple store to have a technician look at your device. Or contact the Apple Support.

  • Chargers dropped (risk of overvoltage / overcurrent devices of?)

    Hi all

I dropped my ipad air 2 and Chargers iphone 6s (they were in the same small plastic bag) of my waist height; I would like to know if the fact that they continue to work properly is enough to conclude that they are perfectly fine or is there a risk to provide overvoltage / overcurrent devices of? I was told that apple chargers are black or white, that is, they work or they are not, because there are some safety circuits inside that would avoid in case of anomalies possibly translate overvoltage and/or overcurrent.

Can someone confirm / advise please?

You're right, the charging circuit is in the devices. You should be ok.

You need not buy new Chargers.

You need to plug adapter American Electric type.

All computers/Apple iOS devices come with voltage: 100-240 v AC.

  • do not know which of the two Chargers belongs to the laptop

The situation: I have two HP PC laptop and two Chargers and I do not know what charger belongs to each computer.  The connectors are the same; in other words, either charger fits one of the two computers.  But computers are not of the same model and the Chargers are not the same, and I don't want to take the risk of damaging a computer by plugging the wrong charger.

I wonder if I can identify the correct match of the charger to the computer via the web.

  • Are these chargers FRY my Sansa Clip +?

Hello, after doing a lot of research in the USB wall and car chargers I find many stories of fries Sansa Clips in all directions. I have read and understood 5 volts is the limit for this camera, but I can't find the specifications listed anywhere and I am very confused as to what a safe charger would be together. There are a ton of them in the Amazon, but they do not necessarily list their specs, and most of them is not yet affiliated with SanDisk. I live in the United States and I don't own a cell phone, so I'm ignorant by complimenting the USB Chargers. I would appreciate some comments.

    http://www.Amazon.com/pieces-premium-accessories-combo-SanDisk/DP/B002W9GN12/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=El...

Caveat Emptor on any one of these gadgets.  Only plug do not tell the whole story.  Sellers who such things in stock are known for his replacement by products by manufacturers without a name.  Everything just because the specs say they are within tolerances, does not mean that the product will be.

This is one time I would spend an extra dollar or two and get something locally by a merchant of trust.

  • Wall/car chargers - Woot today...

http://www.woot.com/ - Philips DLO PowerPack for iPod & iPhone

Power on these chargers acceptable specifications (use your own USB cable, of course)?

    Output: 5V, 1A

Yes, it's more than enough. A port USB PC/Mac outputs 5V to 0.5 a, maximum. Higher amperage won't hurt (connected devices will only remove as much current as required) and will reduce the same time charge if the device can pull more of. 5.

But they are now out of print.

  • Compatible chargers for Z3 Compact and Z3

I want to learn the Chargers are compatible with the Z3 and compact Z3.

    Strangely, I couldn't find compatibility information on Chargers listed in sonymobile.com, UCH20, UCH10, EP880, and EP881.

Maybe if I can learn voltage and amperage of these chargers, Z3 and Z3 information compact smartphones I can understand that.

Can you tell me the official documentation or the Web site showing this information?

I read the user guide for the Z3, but it gives no information about the compatible Chargers.

    @dx486

    UCH10 is a compatible charger QC2.0.

EP880/881/UCH20 have the same characteristics. (881 is the version of 880, while UCH20 is a new one planned for the production of Z5).

    UCH10

    Output

    • 5V/1800mA (9W)
    • 9V/1700mA(15.3W)
    • 12V/1275mA(15.3W)
    • Support fast charging 2.0 class of Qualcomm

    Others have a power to 5V 1500mA.

  • Q10 Q10 blackBerry Chargers

I have a new Q10, (also a Z10 and a Playbook).  Q10 was purchased on eBay at the suggestion of the Director of the local bank of T-mobile, which has been unable to provide one.

The phone itself works fine, but the charger provided did not provide it.  A red exclamation point appears over the battery icon.

The seller was very good about it and has provided three other chargers, none will work on the Q10.  They also provided a 'free' car charger that works.

These are type Chargers small cube with a USB port and sync cable.  They carry the BB logo.

I can load the Q10 by cables to sync my laptop, I can also load the Q10 using chargers for my Z10 and Playbook. (The charger Z10 appears identical to Q10 Chargers that don't work).  Q10 Chargers will charge my Z10, just not the Q10.

Q10 is an unlocked AT & t phone that I use with a T-mobile SIM card on T-mobile's network.  The version of the OS is 10.1.0.2121.

Anyone can mount any light this situation?

Because your Q10 Chargers will charge your Z10, we can rule out the possibility of them being data cables only. A common suggestion when problems arise is to make sure that you use the most recent operating system, which you're not. Before racking your other brain, why not bump up to the most recent available OS and try loading your Q again.

The best way to update your operating system is with Knowyou. @John_Clark has written a good tutorial to do:

Start with that and we'll pick up from there.
