Check your upgrade fails

Running Windows 10 pro.  Try checking to see how compatibile PC is for Windows 10.  I have the Windows Update icon in the taskbar.  GWX process runs.  When I HR click on and select check the status of your upgrade, upgrade Windows 10 window appears with nothing in it, AND then closes immediately.  I have installed all the patches including non-critical.  Any ideas why I can't check my upgrade status and see if something is not compatible with Windows 10.

No say why it's not don't give a report or a upgrade output and get out now

Now, win 10 might say, it is planned to install auto

  • W7 is accepted, but the upgrade fails

I run W7 home Premium that came pre-installed on my laptop. I wanted to move to W7 Pro. Anytime online update doesn't let me do this based on the restrictions of the place, somehow. He suggested that I buy a key from a retailer instead, as I did.

Now, I entered this key in the update of any time and it seems that he had accepted the key, that I can forward to accept the license terms and then it starts to do his work, say how it will take about 10 minutes, etc.., but not for long. I don't know if I still get the same error message now, compared to when I tried to update the first time, but now, he said something to the effect of (this is a German Windows):

    Enter the different product key

The Enter key is designed for a version of Windows that is compatible with the upgrade Express (sic!). Enter the different upgrade key.

Now I checked my key with a key verification tool and it makes the new key account I had entered the Pro upgrade and it seems, so I'm stuck with a system on the new key, but will not perform the upgrade.
