• Google Chrome freezes computer

  When I open Google Chrome on my laptop, my computer freezes completely (the mouse moves, but everything else is completely insensitive)... Other programs such as IE work but is still slow.

  Hi, when Chrome and Mozilla are installed on a system Chrome freezes on the same sites and Mozilla do the same thing. When I uninstall one of this browser it's ok is ok... Why? What happens in Windows 7 not in Win XP. Please fix this!

  Start the computer in Mode safe mode with network support Windows (on the startup screen, press F8) as a test to see if that helps.

  I am running a MacBook Pro (retina, 15 inch, mid-2014) on 10.11.4 (15E65).

• Freezing when save/delete photos

  I have the 'freeze' of questions wih save picures, posting to Facebook, then delete. I can only do this for 10 or 15 minutes before my computer crashes. When this happens, I close Chrome, open CC Cleaner, then delete the browser cache and cookies. This seems to help, less until he same thing happens again. When it freezes up, it will stay like this for aboutt 5 to 7 minutes, giving me "a program you use has stopped. You want to wait or close it"screen. If I choose "wait", it will stay frozen, & give me once again, this same screen. If I choose "wait" once again, the program USUALLY sttarts works again in a few minutes. If I choose 'close program', it takes about 5 minutes for the program "a freeze" and nearby. It has become very frustrating, to say the least! The computer is a Toshiba Satellite, running Windows 7 Home Premium edition. Any help that ANYONE can give me would be most appreciated!

• Browser and Screen Lock-up

  After the latest OS enhancements I have intermittent problems, but frequently with links that don't open, browser freezes, slowness and inability to move the screen elements similar to many other reports currently on this forum.  These have an impact on our iPhones and iPads but now also our iMacs.  When you try to open a link on the iMac browsers (Safari, Firefox, and less frequently Chrome) freeze and the "beachball" is displayed.  Sometimes it ends by disappears, but the application still does not work. To cancel or escape attempts fail, in some cases requiring force quit to exit the application.  Photo sharing/download my iPhone to iCloud is also now does not work.  These problems have a serious impact on my productivity of the company and I look forward to each release of terror!  I have just hours to devote to the forums and find solutions to these types of problems.  Apple - please get this corrected and do a better job of checking the updates before they released!

  This is a common problem and there is currently no permanent solution.

  Try turning off JavaScript under settings - Safari - Advanced.

  Keep patience, I think soon Apple will figure things out.

  I'm on a Toshiba Satellite L300 Windows Vista,
  I recently had my browser (Google Chrome) freeze so that the page that I was on was using Java.
  I went to reset, but once Vista began to start it would not go beyond the loading bar.
  Then, I went to boot from a drive to install Vista and met the same problem.

  I tried to start with the controller Mode SATA changed compatibility.
  This allowed the Vista disc load up successfully but did not allow for options but command prompt and from the Startup Repair.
  I ran Startup Repair twice and that Vista would load to the top of the loading bar then reset and loop this model.
  I don't know where to go from here, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder why you could not start Vista drive in AHCI Sata Controller Mode, I know the sata drivers are already integrated into Vista.

  I have a dell xps 16 under i7, windows 7 Home premium 64-bit, 4 GB ram, 500 GB hard drive. At least a year, I had problems viewing sites that use flash player such as youtube and facebook. I originally thought that my anti virus has been the problem because when I uninstalled the flash never started working. I changed my anti-virus programs about 3 times from mcafee to kaspersky AVG 9.0 full... and it still freezes on me. Now it has been 2 weeks since I uninstalled avg 9.0 and now it has started to freeze up to my internet explore and chrome whenever I go on youtube or facebook. Also for some reasion strange she also made some of my programs like pinnacle 14 studios, itunes and Windows media player does not. Currently I got the flash from my computer. And I have to use my ipad for videos youtube... but I always consult flash. I heard that this has passed many people on mulitple o.s., Please help. I tried to reinstall and he wrote this instalation failed evertime. Ive also tried to reinstall my os without success. I ve tried reseting my browsers and resettlement... without success.

  Hello monktonmerchant, this error is probably caused by extension you have installed 'Avast security online'. try to keep this option disabled for a while and see if the problem still occurs.
