  I have a chronic problem that has quickly become very tedious.  At least once a day, for no apparent reason, the sysem disconnects the drive on which is pinned to the USB 3.0, reporting the 43 error when I run the Device Manager.  The system has an expandable controller of Texas Instruments USB 3.0-0096 (Microsoft) and it has a driver version 21/02/14: 6.3.9600.17031.

  I read that he knows the problem and that it has something to do with USB3.0.

  I met a strange problem with strings when you use the FrameMaker API. We have a FAPI customer who translated documents FM reading in their content, by replacing their text by the new translated text and in return the change in writing.

  However, I found that some strings are starting with a \r (carriage return) character, when we read in and when we write their return, they begin with \r\n, which moves text to the bottom line, and can break things as references etc. I don't know exactly why this is happening, we are using Visual C++ and we do a lot of conversions between classes CString and StringT types so maybe this conversion process are to do.

  To be honest, I find the appearance of newlines and carriage returns in the frame channels somewhat odd frame API breaks up the text of a paragraph into fragments for you anyway, so I would have thought that the use of these characters is redundant. That's a big assumption however so correct me if I'm wrong.

  We have implemented a work around by which our program strips newlines off channels before writing their return

  but in reality, what we really need to undress returns to the main line of strings, before starts the printable text in a string.

  I wonder what others have to say about this WRT its security approach. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

  I did a little greater experimentation, based on my previous comments (sorry, should have done that before I clicked on the Post before.)  When I programmatically add a \r one paragraph, I don't see no effect in page layout. This is consistent with my suspicions so far. I really think that, maybe, these characters are misleading and should be removed from the beginning.

• Problem with keyboard: some keys return two, not one, characters

  I have a MacBook Air 11 '' mid-2012 128 GB SSD model running OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 and my keyboard has developed a strange problem occultation key repeat.  Whenever you press the "3" button, the system generates thus simultaneously a '3' and '6 '.  This motif is repeated this diagonal of the keyboard down, i.e.

  '3' generates a '3' and '6 '.

  'e' generates an 'e' and a 'y '.

  "d" generates a "d" and an "h".

  'c' generates a 'c' and a "n".

  The reverse is also true, that is, a '6' generates a '3' and so on.  Curiously, the sign '=' generates a character "§" as well, a special character generated by keeping down option and pressing "6".

  (This combo generates a ' § ' and a ' £', hidden under the '3'.)

  The same problem occurs when you use the Shift or Control keys as modifiers.

  I can work around the problem by using either a connection wireless Bluetooth or wired USB keyboard (like using the "Keyboard Viewer" option under "System Preferences"), but that kind of defeats the point of having a laptop as a MacBook Air, Yes?  The problem is intermittent, but becomes very annoying.  (Try to type a password with such a mess!) It sounds like a mechanical problem requiring a possible replacement of the sale wholesale (and), but I hope someone out there can have a software or another solution.  Thank you!

  That certainly points to make it a hardware problem.  It is difficult to imagine a software problem that would not affect both internal and external keyboards.

  I thought that I would update to the BIOS (latest version 2.6) in the latest version (3.6), which has some relevant changes to Windows 8, I understand.

  I have downloaded the BIOS update file and run. I had several options. One of them was to make the update of Windows, and another was to create a boot CD to do at STARTUP.
  I created the CD and rebooted the machine with it. Everything seemed fine, but when the time came to Flash the bios I got the message about the battery must be greater than 10% and the power adapter is connected. If the BIOS update has refused to start.

  This problem has been resolved. It was my router D - Link DIR-615 which was causing the problem all the time. When I changed the router to another at the beginning of the printer stop normally.

  2. Do return the activities of bounceback hard rebounds, not soft. Why? There are also no information that describes the reason for the bounce back for example. "mailbox unavailable" (that you fall into the other api)
  3. There is a serious bug in the information coming back from bouncebacks. Instead of the e-mail address of the recipient, I get the sender e-mail address ([email protected]) on some issues. This effectively makes it unnecessary because without the right email address or id of contact, there is no way, this goes back to original recipient.

  Regarding your questions about activities:

  (1) you are right that ContactId is not currently available to be included in these activities.  We are working on obtaining of their added in a later version.  Email address is available on these activities and can be used to link the activity to a specific contact.

  (2) currently only hard bounces are included.  We are working on adding soft bounces and the reason code in a future release.

  (3) it has not been reported previously, thanks for sharing.

  Anyone else have problems with the GENERATED_KEY value returned by a cfquery when using ColdFusion 8 and MySQL?
  
  I'm inserting records in a MySQL 5.0 DB and then enter the result. GENERATED_KEY and assigning my ID of objects field. Nothing spectacular here.
  
  In my test harness, everything works fine but when I download files to my host I get this error;

  Error string: cannot call CFC - element GENERATED_KEY is undefined in QCREATERESULT.
  
  I thought that there must be a bug I introduced so I check my code and ensured that it worked on my system and Uploaded the cfc again just to be sure there was nothing broken in transit.

  So, I checked the Web and found that the MySQL Connector/J version 5.1.5 has a problem with that. I contacted my provide my Site host and has asked to check the environment that I was for me.
  
  I was told it is ColdFusion 8 (as it should be.)
  
  At the beginning when I asked what version of Connector/J server on that I had used on me version 3.51. This is not a version of connector for all those of you who did not have to deal with it. (At least one that would have shipped with CF8.) That sounded more like the version of the MySQL server, but I was supposed to be on a 5.0 Server and my account information specify also the same, so I let this drop for now.
  
  After having to explain how to find a way to know what the version of the connector was attached their support they told me that it was 5.05 (has happened to the version that I already told him was the version I thought comes with CF8, if I'm wrong.)
  
  And I asked him to confirm that the DB was version 5.0.
  
  So assuming that told me the truth. I can't find a reason why the GENERATED_KEY are not returned.

  Found the problem.
  The environment has been set up correctly, but the DSN apparently obtained the value a MySQL 3.51 Driver to the administrator.
  It's something that my hosting service, I have no control on however I also don't even think about asking them to check for me either. I forgot that CF has even a version 3 driver for MySQL.

  So my hats off to HostMySite technicians who concluded that, for me and for anyone having the same problem, I suggest you also check the same.

• Problem with updates on Windows 8 - Configuration has failed & returning Exchange

  I want to apologize for asking questions about the problem which has been solved so many times...

  ... and yet it seems that no solution applies to / solved my problem.

  Let me describe my situation and context "briefly":

  I have install Windows 8 Pro, I have installed in September 2012. I had been provided with Win 7 and Win 8 activation as a computer SCIENCE student keys during my studies. I have not used 8 win a lot since I preferred Win 7 and I only wanted to test the 'product '.

  Judging by the time when previous updates have been installed, the system was launched several times in March 2013, December 2013 and January 2014. After that, the system "folded" so far. When I launched the system on 26.07.2015 there was like 50 updates that have been prepared (or wanted to be installed... Let's say "pending"). About 30 of them installed successfully. Then I double-checked. I used to double check the availability of updates when some fail to install (mainly from my previous experience that sometimes an update is no longer necessary when another installs).

  Now, to the point...

  I have 133 major and 3 optional updates that want to be installed. Everything that I select (few of them), or all of them fail to install. Installation begins normally, then needs to restart (all) and during the nex to the top starting, the updates can "Configuring updates... 98% ' and then fail and are starting to go back.

  The system is more or less vanilla installation with some basic drivers and the 3DMarks so I doubt that I've caused this problem.

  I've been googling and try to solve this problem for 5 days now, here's what I found:

  1. first of all, I tried sfc / scannow to see if there is any corruption. I received the message that some files were corrupted and could not be repaired. The launch of 6 and 7 of this order, I finally got the "Windows Resource Protection has not found any breach of integrity." (it is true however that I tried a lot of solutions in the meantime). However before that, the CBS.log newspaper included information that:

  Cannot repair Member "utc.app.json" file

  (also of telemetry ".") "ASM - WindowsDefault.json" and I think that 'Amd64\CNBJ2530. PBO' have been mentioned... several times)

  But as I said, from this moment I do not have this problem.

  2. because I had problem with CFS, I tried DISM.

  3. the 'solution' next I'm focused on a system reserved partition. I came to the information Windows 7 uses 100 MB Sys. Reserved partition while Windows 8 uses 350 MB. I think I stumbled on information that it can be connected to the problems so modified the partition of provision (safely, in regards to the system reserved partitions and Windows 8) and increased the extra partition of 250 MB. This however proves to not be connected.

  4. some sources claimed that C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution/download content may be the case. So after the Windows Update service has stopped I deleted the download content (I think on 1 try I deleted event pending.xml from WinSxS. Of course then I restarted the redownloaded updates of service, etc...

  5. I tried the update servers MS Windows Diagnostic.cab (just for the record, this tool renames pending.xml among others). This diagnosis is always problems no matter how many times I launch. It shows sometimes 2, sometimes 3 questions for example:

  Here, the infamous rollback is mentioned. I was not able to identify the exact update (or updated) what causes these cancellations so I hope it's something I could be helped with at least. The internet is full of KBs that this cause so I can't count on that, at least for now. I also want to note that I tried everything under boot. And also can not clean installation since I have no more join the MSDNAA where I had as a student activation key. I hope that I could upgrade to Windows 10 without him in the coming months, so that's why I concentrate on getting this environment to work and migrate to it in time.

  First of all, to all those who have problems with the fact that their updates install suddenly, you must change the settings for Windows Update. Change the option other than an automaticall installation (I used the automatic download, manual installation). In this way, you can install the updates in smaller batches. Personally, I installed updates to 5 or 10 (or almost). The updates that have been tens of MB, I installed only. What struck me most surprised, I could (at the time) to install all updates. In the case where you wouldn't you know at least certainly update you need to solve the problems.

  After all updates have been installed, I turned on the automatic download and installation.

  I have a weird problem with Adobe applications. Mamy times especially when doing drag or double click, applications get stuck. And if I move my mouse away from the application to the taskbar, it kicks back. Or sometimes I have to minimize and maximize return.

  It happens when I use my Tablet intuos with pen. So if it gets stuck, I noticed as soon as I change the feather to the touch, it begins to function normally. Otherwise, I have to hover on the taskbar or minimize and optimize the thing.

  I tried to re install creative cloud and applications, I tried to delete / re install drivers Wacom.

  not sure if it's a cc or a Wacom or Windows 10 problem. ID appreciate any help. It drives me crazy that am not not able to work.
