  Hello

  When I try to use the photomerge tool in Photoshop CS6, an incredibly long error message that I have to force quit photoshop to get rid of. The only help that I could find online suggests that I have uninstall and reinstall photoshop, but I don't have serial number or proof of purchase for the soft, so I don't want to / can not do this. Can someone help me solve this problem?

  You can insert the installation disk, run the installer and see if there is a repair option once the original installation is detected.

  I see you have fixed this now, but I was about to tell you that you could have accommodated in the 'Bad' by its shortcut "I" tool.

  

  To save a custom toolbar, get everything the way you want and click on the button space work, click new workspace

  

  Type a name for the workspace, and check all three options.

  

  If I have to use a single screen, I use a variant of the Essentials workspace with minor panels collapsed and dock for main panels.  I call this Essentials 2

  Try to re - set preferences.

  Go to: Edit > preferences > general (menu Photoshop Elements on Mac)

  Click on the button Reset preferences on the next launch

• Anyway to temporarily ignore the smart guides using the tool pen?

  I have a love relationship with the guides and hatred. When I want to that they're bad; When I'm not good they are.

  While trying to do things with the pen tool, I am often confronted with smart guides snapping my tool around without the broken my volition. I'm not really good with the pen tool yet, so it is making a more difficult climb when they interfere.

  Now, I know I can disable smart guides by doing Ctrl-U, but it has side effect of my pen from the current curve I'm free. When I click on the end of this curve to start where I left off, it changes the anchor in a corner instead of curve and mess up what I was going to. Would not a problem except that I sometimes envy the guides while I'm still on the same curve so I don't want to not completely turn them off as I work and I have to then reactivate to correct a task, know what I mean?

  Yes, is there a key that I can hold to temporarily turn turn off smart guides or ignore them somehow? I met quite a few keys that try so I think not. This probably indicates that I just need to improve my skills to learn to work with it better.

  At least until 13 Illustrator, it's a trick or rather an ugly hack that is to align it on the gate drive and talent to temporarily disable all the features of smart guides. The following must be prepared in case you run the hack as an action:

  1. in the actions Palette, create a new action game. Call it "turn off Smart Guides.

  2 in all scripts, create a new action. Call the 'Disable Smart Guides', assign an F key to action, say F3 and press ENTER.

  3. in the actions Palette menu, and then select the command insert a Menu item and go to view > snap to grid

  4 stop action recording

  5. go in Edition > Preferences > Guides & grid

  6. in the grid of each text box, enter 0.01 mm. This is the minimum value that you can set here.

  7. in the text box of Subdivisions, enter 1000, maximum value accepted here.

  Now, take any document, turn on smart guides, make sure that snap to grid is turned off, and start drawing a path. Press F3 and continue the way of drawing. Press F3 again as soon as you still need your guides.

  As you can see, after hit F3 to snap to grid, the path will not be interrupted when you place the next point. And you have a sort of microscopic parameters of the grid, snap to grid has almost no influence on which points are placed. Actually, he clings still, but because of absurd grid settings, it is rather negligible.

  I meet a weird problem at the moment with the pencil (N) in artificial intelligence tool. Using my wacom, when I'm going to draw a line, it shows me the blue line at the beginning but at half way through a line of drawing the blue line, which is essentially the guide showing me what I drew just disappears, but if I continue and let go it still creates the complete line. If it's really frustrating because I want to see what I actually paint.

  Experience would have me think it's a kind of graphics/ram problem, but do not - I'm really confused!

  Dear community,

  I am looking for a solution remove circles after using the gradient tool.

  My treatment: I changed a part of the background of my image. For this I used the gradient tool. A few steps later I darkened the background changed through curve gradiation.

  I tried their blur but it doesn't work.

• Remove CRA tool of circles on my form-tools - how?

  I've recently updated as a result of CC, and I could changed some settings in an unfortunate way.

  The 'problem' is that I get those circle-arch-tool-things on my rectangular forms, which makes it harder to work with shape - especially when I'm zoomed. See the attached picture. I don't know of four roundabouts to anchor, when you press on allows me to round up the corresponding angle of the square.

  

  How can I get rid of these attachment points? 'Just', I want to work with a shape whose base anchor points in the corners.

  Hi all

  I'm running into a very strange and frustrating problem in Photoshop CS6 (running on a Macbook Air with OS X version 10.8.5).

  When you use keyboard shortcuts to switch backwards between tools, Photoshop will be randomly my tool used previously. For example, I have the active move tool and use it to move items in my PSD. Then, I turn to the text tool by using the 't' shortcut on my keyboard. I go to click on the type I want to change, and Photoshop, has been my active tool to the move tool. I type 't' again to pull the top of the text, in 1 or 2 seconds tool, Photoshop jumps me to the move tool. It's as if I pressed the 'V' shortcut that is immediately after the pressing, the shortened 't'! Sometimes I have to type 't' to shoot to the top of the type tool 8 or 10 times before the tool of type "sticks".

  This is the case with other tools, too (switch between Move tent, tent & direct selection, Zoom & Move, etc.) is not only limited to switch between Move & Type.

  I do not see the same question when you click on the toolbar to select a new tool (instead of going via the keyboard shortcut).

  Anyone else see this issue? Does anyone know a fix?

  I had a lot of problem with that. Russell Williams from Adobe gave me this fix a few days ago:

  He said to edit a file called PSUserConfig.txt in the PS settings folder. If one does not exist, create a text file with this in it:

  SpringLoadedKeyTime 2000

  I change the time from 2000 to 8000.
