Router Cisco Small business with the functionality of the link aggregation
Hi all!
can someone tell me if there is a router from Cisco Small business with the functionality of the link aggregation? (I want to connect two 4 Mbps SDSL for flow) The RV082 can do?
Best regards
You would need a RV016, who takes in charge up to 7 WAN ports. RV082 has only two WAN ports.

Cisco VPN problem with security update KB3057839 for Vista
Someone had problems with any connection Cisco VPN works after the installation of update of security KB3057839 for Vista? When this update is installed, the pop-up to enter the password and user id not come, need to use the Task Manager to close the program. The first time I went back to the restore point to get my VPN to work, this time I tried to reinstall the VPN but that doesn't work anymore. I started to uninstall updates (had 7 of them), when I got to it, KB3057839, the VPN began working again.

See this on the real issue:

It turns out that the logon dialog box is invisible, but still, it agrees to enter you your password and LOG you!

6248 FI Cisco's UCS with Cisco catalyst 2960 connectivity
In our environment, UCS, connects the two fabric as a Cisco Nexus 9 k switch upstream with vPC and it works well. But we need to isolate some virtual servers on the blades of the UCS on an entirely separate DMZ switch which is Cisco catalyst 2960.
(1) so can we connect cables separate physical twinax of FI uplink ports to catalyst 2960 and connectivity to the servers in the DMZ keeping YEW to nexus connectivity as it is?
(2) in this case, as there are 2 switches to nexus core 1 and 2 so we will require 2 cisco catalyst 2960 for disjoint such a network? or otherwise we can connect A FI and FI B to one on his 2 numbers 2960 switch. Gig SFP ports + 10?
(3) also suggest things must be taken in charge, the best guides practice or an illustration in this context.
The assignment is static and cannot be changed.
location 1 - uplink 1
slot 2 - uplink 2...
If a property has no blade, the corresponding uplink is not used and that can not be changed!
This dedication of uplinks of IOM is of course a lot of resources: cables, ports on FI, allowed port,...

connection of switches cisco and hp with gbic
I have a new Cisco 2960 x and an existing HP 2910al. I am OK with the set up, I have the hp interface and Cisco all the time with copper but this is the first that I had with fiber. I know that Cisco switch will a Cisco gbic (can move only with service not taken into charge-transmitter/receiver) and HP will want a Gbic hp (new Hp operating system only works with HP Gbic).
So here's the question, Cisco Gbic and Hp Gbic of interconnection? I guess Yes, but want to ask before you buy and know that they don't.
As long as they are of the same wavelength (like SR to LR to LR or SR) Yes they do.

Cisco WLC 2504 with AIR-AP1131AG-A-K9
Hello
Can you help me for some info about AIR-AP1131AG-A-K9.
I have a wlc 2504, but I don't know if the AIR-AP1131AG-A-K9-supported 2504 wlc.
Can work this WLC 2504 with AIR-AP1131AG-A-K9 solution?
If so, guide.
Thank you very much
Gezimv
Check out this link. As long as you have software version 8.0.x 2504 version you can use 1131 AP with it. Nothing beyond software fate is more a series of support 1131.

I installed Cacti on ubuntu 14.04 and I'm trying to add a Cisco sg300.
If the switch is configured like this:

try again to pin 1SNMP version 2
Community SNMP MyC0mmun1ty

Nmap - sU Pei 161 switch ip of see:

But watch the cactus
SNMP information
SNMP errorOK, I suggest you enable the SNMP agent on unrestricted IP switch, IE replace command:
snmp-server community MyC0mmun1ty ro 192.168.10.25 view Default
with the command:
snmp-server community MyC0mmun1ty ro view Default
and again snmpwalk. If it will work now, your SNMP to Cacti server applications are sourcing from another IP than 192.168.10.25 (your Cacti server configured several IP?).

The services configuration of firepower on Cisco asa 5506 with ASDM
I have a few 5506 firewalls, and they are fully licensed with services of power, control, Protection, URL filtering, malware. I have intend running and configuration of all of this on the 5506 by ASDM. I was wondering if there are guides for a basic configuration and the implementation of policies available. Something to show a basic configuration which would technically begin inspection of traffic and work. Then I can edit and make changes to my taste.
Thank you
My recommendation to clients is to look at the Cisco Live, BRKSEC-2018presentation. Please refer to the 56 slide from for a good overview of how policies are installed in a module of firepower.
There are also a number of other detailed guides available in the FireSIGHT Management Center product support page should you care to learn more about customization and operations. You can also find the series of videos of ASA FirePOWER on request to Labminutes.com useful to guide you on execution of operations of your system.

configuration Cisco No. 2851 IPS intrusion prevention system
Hi, I wonder - could someone guide me to the implementation of IPS intrusion prevention system. I'm new to the world of cisco and still did not have my head around it. for the intrusion prevention system IPS I put 0/1 (lan) entrants and g 0/0 as a wan?
Hello
You must be careful when activating the IP address of your router. Category will activate you more cpu/memory will be used, and your router may crash.
I'll write all the config as directly here, because it is a good step by step by Cisco:
http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/security/iOS-intrusion-...
I'll also join a best practice document from Cisco.
IPS/signature of software should be found on the Cisco's Web site: https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=282941564&reltype...
To answer your question, you can do inbound and outbound on your WAN interface (attacks should come first to the outside).
If you have enough power, why not do as well on the LAN but I will recommend doing it on the WAN, organize and when you're comfortable, you can create one for the LAN interface.
Here is a config I made for a cisco 892 router which works fine:

Failover on Cisco ASA 5505 with EasyVPN
Hello
I've implemented a customer EasyVPN with a Cisco ASA 5505 and I am trying to configure the failover but I get this message:
"Failover cannot be configured as Cisco Easy VPN remote is activated."
However, I have seen in the link below, this dynamic rollover is compatible with the easy standard (and not with improved but I don't think I use easyVPN improved).
http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/security/iOS-easy-VPN/e...
The configuration I did through ASDM is very simple:
vpnclient server * * *.
vpnclient-mode client mode
vpngroup vpnclient * password *.
vpnclient username * password *.
vpnclient enableMy question is how can I implement failover with a client on a Cisco ASA 5505 EasyVPN?
Thanks in advance
You cannot configure the failover of a device that acts as a client

The debug version, it seems that there is no communication on UDP/500 possible between devices. Maybe something is blocking who?

Cisco 1252 s with regular 802.3af PoE switch - what are the impacts?
Does anyone have an experience of real life to the deployment of the 1252 s on 802.3af regular PoE switches? I have a few 1252 s a certain ports PoE 3560 and issuing upward with alarms 'low power '.
I wonder what the impact of the real world with this scenario. The 1252 s have both 2.4 Ghz and a radio-5, 0 Ghz in them and I have HT enabled on the controller.
I wonder what capabilities I lose by running on 802.3af food in addition to the inconvenience of the alarms.
Thanks in advance!
Hello
This is the command question... the AP 1252 switches POE needs improved Ex-3750-E for all operational radios... If we use only a 802.3af while a single frequency can be enabed and her we can't get a rhythm N... the link below will explain better...
I would like to know how it works for you!
