  • Integration of the Cisco Telepresence SX20 with Cisco Telepresence EX60

    Hi all

I have a question, I have the following device:

    -SX20 together

    -EX60 with touchscreen controller

Do I know if the EX60 can be deployed in an environment SX20? as each of them as functions of call I don't know if it will be in conflict or not because I have little knowledge about the voice and video. If the device can be integrated, can I request a deployment guide, the configuration guide on these? Thank you very much!

If your devices are not connected to any call (VCS or CUCM) control, search for SX20 autonomous in the forums - there are many threads that describe what you need to configure the settings.  Do the same configuration on the SX and exodus once this is done, you should be able to call the IP address of one of the other.

  • Cisco TelePresence SX20 + VCS 8.2 Server and Skype for business 2015

Nice day! My name is Dimitri! Have Cisco TelePresence SX20 + VCS 8.2 Server and Skype for business 2015. Is it possible to set up a conference call SFB and appeal to all subscribers of this conference? At present, we can only call on a single client and SFB. We have the current version of the software TCNC5.1.4.295090 SX20 - is it possible he obnoviti 7, and it will help to improve the situation? Thank you!

I'm no expert on this technology, but I have some idea and already deployed some projects dealing with the integration of Cisco (CUCM, VCS) video infrastructure to Microsoft video infra like Lync. It would be the same process to make it work in your case.

How does your deployed SFB? How do you do a conference for audio and video, participants can join the conference by dialing?

    • Mediation server would be required as a front-end server for you to integrate IP/PBXS using SIP trunk to enable voice (audio) Conference with the participants to the PSTN.
    • AVMCU Should be (Audio video Multipoint Conferencing Unit) will host the video conference that will include video endpoints as participants.
    • Video of Interop (SCREW) Server would be required to interface your SFB to third video conference infrastructure such as Cisco UCM or VCS for the endpoints Cisco call client SFB of endpoint of Cisco to participate to the conference organised on SFB by dialing the conference number.

I'd say contact your AM SFB or Support as well for queries about how to plan your infrastructure SFB and direction.

  • Cisco Telepresence SX20 and Touch 8 Configuration after paired

    Hello

I successfully connected and combined the SX20 Cisco's Telepresence and Cisco Telepresence Touch 8. Before using the 8 key, we used the remote control instead. As a result, I have two questions about this.

    1. as far as I know, when I use the 8 key, the remote control cannot be used. Is it possible to use both of them?

    2. How can I change the background of my SX20 touch 8? Previously, the remote I can easily choose the background for my SX20. But after pairing with Touch 8, background in my SX20 become a blue large clock. I really want to have a different background but cannot find the way how to change.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Sincerely,

    Bagus Hanindhito

After you connect the 8 Touch, you can still use the remote control, you will need to put on the SX20:

    SystemUnit MenuType experimental configuration: full

I think that the standard background when using a touchscreen device is what you see, blue with large clock.  However, after the MenuType return in full which will give you the full OSD which is used with the remote and not that of the button, you may be able to change the background then.

  • Ways to receive calls from address book on Cisco Telepresence SX20?

I got many unknown calls on my teleconferencing equipment and I would like to know if there are ways to block these calls or even perhaps only to receive calls on the address book.

This has been discussed before in the forums many times more.  Take a look at some of the following threads:

If your endpoint has a public IP address, depending on the configuration of endpoint, you could get behind a NAT device or restrict access of your firewall to allow only specific IP addresses this conference you with.  If you use H323, you must also disable SIP endpoint.

  • Cisco Telepresence SX20 H323 autonomous "no video call.

This system can receive calls IP to external systems. But when I dial to test outgoing calls (IP calls) see the other side of the call to come and he received but no video/audio on their side. On the side of the appellant, I receive the following message if poster on the screen "no video in" then the call ends. The only messages in the log are below.

    Log messages:

    WARNING: Default call Protocol

The default call protocol is set to H323, but the system is not registered on this Protocol. The system isn't able to make all the calls. Please change the default call Protocol, verify that Protocol is enabled, or check the configuration of H323.

Caution: setting up an IPv6 address

The IPv6 address configuration is statically defined for an invalid address (or mask, gateway or subnet). Enable the DHCP, or enter a valid static IPv6 assignment

Oh yes, whenever you deal with video, any type of inspection of the firewall must be disabled because it could cause a delay or simply no video sent/received.

  • Configure Cisco Telepresence SX20 to use H323

The engineer back a configuration a model for this unit. Because SIP is not used by the seller which we will be conferences with I have to configure this device in the call manager to use H323. Can someone guide me where in Call Manager I can install this device to use the H323 Protocol.

CUCM is SIP only, if you need make a H323 call. You will need to either Setup of endpoint without CUCM self-sustaining, as Acevirgil mentioned, however it isn't bigger than its configuration already with CUCM. The other alternative is if you have a VCS or highway, or of those who can ensure Interworking using SIP to H323 and vice versa.

Do you know why the other side can't H323, is there a way to ensure the interoperability of H333-SIP calls?

  • Cisco telepresence c90 lost password Admin

    Hello

    I have Cisco telepresence C90 with TC7.2.1

Admin password is lost. We cannot get into the Web interface. I don't know how to access and reset. Please let me know...

Have tried the empty password. No use. Thank you

You need a COM cable for access to the unit through serial and system reset. Restart the system and when you get a fast connection for connection with the user "factoryreset.

  • SX20 with Smart Board

    Hello

My client is looking for SX20.

They would also like to integrate SX20 with the smart board to display the smart board for remote sites.

My question is, if I do not include the option to dual license, going to work with the Smart Board.

Or is it necessary to have the double display for this particular case.

    Best regards

    Titebiket

    Hi titebiket,

Yes, you can share your screen through SX20 - but you will need to be

    (1) get a telepresence unit SYNCH

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/products/ps11653/index.html

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/endpoint/software/synch/synch_release_note_v4-01.PDF

    Camera EOS/EOL

    (2) download the video switch video/duplicater that splits in two. In the projector cable, one cable at the entrance to the presentation of the codec.  Please note that this is not something that is officially supported by Cisco - so you won't be able to buy the switch/duplicater home.

    (3) you can try to use the SX20 and the dual display option. But I don't know if it will work properly, because I have not tested. However, I tried option 2.

    Thank you

  • Driver of Cisco Telepresence - room LoopBack

    Hello world

Is it possible to create a meeting room on Cisco Telepresence driver that will return the video to the appellant alone in the room? As the [email protected] / * / Cisco's Sip URI? (A kind of selfview room)

    Thanks for your help.

It is possible to show only one participant connected to a MCU conference selfview, but not for telepresence Server conferences.  It comes without caring if the driver is involved or not.  The service provided by Cisco closure is obtained with the C40/60 endpoints where the audio and the video plays in a loop directly to the connected call (output HDMI to HDMI-in, output audio RCA audio-in RCA/RCA).

  • Cisco TelePresence Manager version 1.7 does support Windows Small Business Server 2008?

    Hello

Is Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2008 supported the Protocol LDAP, AD and MS Exchange server for Cisco TelePresence Manager version 1.7?

    Thank you

    AA

Hello Ahmed - although this configuration "can work", Windows 2008 Small Business Server is not on the support list. This means that it has not been tested and it certifies to work with telepresence.

To my knowledge, he's not on the roadmap for the future support however, I search and repost as soon as I have an answer for you.

    Kind regards

As long as it is a supported resolution, it should work. Personally, I used my camcorder as an EX90 entry and it worked fine.
