Citing question regardng XML maps

I'm just finalizing on my app, when I see something strange:

Page 17 (on the GPS and BlackBerry Maps Development Guide) has a XML call to structures of cards with a "" wrapper, while starting page 19, is "".

Whatever it is, my code does not work. I get an "Exception number Format" which is confusing to me. I'm running a simulator 8330.

Note: if I do not include the document in the chain, I get the card, but with the default location. I guess the problem is with the XML document.

Here's my code string:

String document ="
"" dataset.elementAt(i+3) + "------" lat =-+.
"" dataset.elementAt(i+2) + "------" label = "" + \
"" TEMP + "------" description = "" + \
TEMP + "-" zoom =------"4" / >
«;»

Here is my code Invoke:

Invoke.invokeApplication (Invoke.APP_TYPE_MAPS, new MapsArguments (MapsArguments.ARG_LOCATION_DOCUMENT, document));

That's what I trace in the console:

Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you.

  • Is it possible to modify the XML mapped schema that is generated by the action of submit before submitting?

    I have a form created in LiveCycle ES2. I have a few fields mapped to a schema which causes LC to generate XML data that follow the format for importing one of the internal databases of my company.

    There is a problem: the system import feature seeks a DOCTYPE DTD declaration between the XML declaration and root element. I tried including the declaration in the schema, but LC does not include it in the values mapped or export. I spoke with the seller on the declaration of the DTD as part of the import function and they gave a firm "no."

    Is there a way to insert a single line of markup in the XML that LC generates in the action to submit before the XML code is attached to the email?

    Hello

    You can use XSLT to transform the outbound data.

    I have never done this for the addition of a DTD, but Google finds solutions for the term "xslt adds dtd" it should be possible.

  • Help for query for multiple rows as XML mapping

    Greetings:

    I try to use the request for the service of several lines to fill a schema that is not "flat" in the repeating node.

    I have used this service successfully when all elements to be filled are at the same level.

    I hope someone can tell me how to get mappings into the XML Information for the service operation panel.

    I tried ' ATTRIBUTES/appt_req' and various other formats I could think to map to the name of the correct item, but I always get an XML error.

    ACTIVE is the root, and ACTIVATES the repeating node.

    ATTRIBUTES does not extend within the ASSETS.

    I'm including a sample of the pattern I am trying to load, and I can enter data into the level of the ACTIVE/ACTIVE, but I could not apply to items of ASSETS/ASSETS/ATTRIBUTES

    I also have to find a way to treat the Keywords node at any given time.

    Thank you

    The alternative would be to use the XSLT service to re - organize the xml as you wish.

  • Question about updating map of RAM and graphics on Equium A100-027

    Hello
    I have an Equium A100-027 with 1 GB of RAM (2 x 512MB modules)
    If I would like to raise the speed, which RAM modules would need? I also need a new graphic card, can I buy a graphics card or should it be some for my laptop?

    Hello

    in regard to your question upgrade:

    RAM-> you need 200 pin DDR2 RAM: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SO-DIMM

    Graphics-> update is not possible, because the graphics card is soldered on the motherboard of your laptop, which means it s 'wired '.

  • fill out question of XML attributes

    I've got an XML file like this:

    As you can see, I have two packages.  I was able to get Labview to read in an array of child node two, but now how do I read in the attribute as an array or a collection of record for each 'proto' and then get the data only.  For example, I would like to retrieve data from the #2 package and it should produce a "EF: AA:FB:0. "C: 0d", how can I do this?  I know how to retrieve a single xml file, but get to the part of the attribute is a bit difficult here.  Thank you

    Oh!  This one is new for LV9.  I'm sorry.  Here is a variation using .NET (next you tell me are you on Mac).

    Hi Sinious, thanks a lot for answering me!

    As you can see that there is a "panelContainer' who care of 4 children (projectPanel) and xml.

    var panelContainer:MovieClip = new MovieClip();
    addChild (panelContainer);

    function initProjectPanelsF (): void {}

    projectPanel.content.text = xmlData... project [i] content;

    .....................

    projectPanel.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, projectPanelClickF);

    }

    If one of them (projectPanel) is activated, the "panelContainer" is removed from the scene and added an another 'newsContainer' with the names of the children "newsItem"(5 items)

    function projectPanelClickF(e:MouseEvent):void {}

    addChild (newsContainer);  "NewContainer" //this show 5 items

    newsItem.title.text = xmlData... Project [e.currentTarget.Ivar] .title; //

    newsItem.info.text = xmlData... Project [e.currentTarget.Ivar] .info;

    newsItem.content.text = xmlData... Project [e.currentTarget.Ivar]. I'm glad;

    How can I associate this newContainer with their children (newsItem) with each projectPanel?

    I will appreciate for any help and thanks in advance.

  • new user - question of xml

    I have an excel file, I would like to ask in indesign. My idea was to save the workbook as xml and then use a dtd to put the xml file into indesign. Has anyone done this before with a listing? This sounds like a good game plan?

    You can import the table to Excel formatted

    Code:

    sheetIndex is the number of worksheet you want to import

    app.excelImportPreferences.sheetIndex = sheetIndex;
    var obj = .textFrames app.activeDocument.pages [document.pages.length - 1];
    var textDesc = obj.add (app.activeDocument.layers [0], LocationOptions.atEnd, document.pages [document.pages.length - 1]);
    Try
    {
    textDesc.place (xls);
    } catch (e) {}

    Use the text() method:

    var ns:Namespace = new Namespace (xmlVar.namespace ());
    trace (xmlVar.. NS::title. Text());

  • Collection ArrayCollection to question of XML.

    Hi all. I'm new here and to the use of FLEX, after being a CF coder since it first came out. Also, please excuse the length of this post, but I can refer in the future. And... Thanks for all the great posts so far this galvanized really me.

    Currently, most of my code is 'test', learn how to make the FLEX to do what I want. I'm working on a project where I need to put the extracted data to an MS SQL Server in an AdvancedDataGrid (ADG). The data are such that there may be many children (and their children, etc.) for a given query. I want to do is return the data a little at a time, so that during the first call, I get all the parents of first level (PKIDs). This could be from 10 to several hundred records.

    This is done by the user by selecting the two comboBoxes, who launches a RemoteObject call, then hands to return a set of data to the function below. The function converts the table into XML so that I can then have a hierarchy in which insert children later. At the present time, to display the arrow itemOpen, I add a child model for each parent record (I'll find a better way later). When the user clicks the arrow itemOpen, I now go and get that child records, using the PKID, who is currently working.

    My problem is that, in a second similar function, when I get the kids and create a mainTreeChildren, I want to put them in XML format (which I do), then insert them into the mainTree XML to the appropriate parent, then open the datagrid to this location. That's where I break. I get a message in the service to make children who:

    1120: access of undefined property mainTree.

    So, even though I created the XML file in the function below, when I try to open it in another function, I get the above error.

    Frankly, I'm just starting trying to figure how I then inserts XML children, but that can come later. I have also included an example of the XML file that is created in this function. Full code available if necessary.

    Okay, I understand it. Ridicule me. I had to do the mainTree XML that may be related. So, it looks like this:

    (first piece of code, then)

    [Bindable]
    public var mainTree:XML;

    private function initMakeXML (): void {}
    lets do some parent XML
    mainTree = new XML ("");

  • HP keyboard mapping inorrect freshly installed Windows 7 / XP on HP Pavilion 500-202eo

    Hello

    After you have installed Windows 7 Ultimate on HP Pavilion 500 - 202eo, I noticed that the HP keyboard connected is incorrectly mapped. I had exact same questions with the mapping of the keyboard with new operating system installs on oher systems as well, but couldn't really find a solution for this. In fact, certain symbols appear to move; While normally, where usually I had to press Alt Gr + 2 I got the sign @, I must now press shift. The? + button now product - character, while pressing on - product button /, <>product button------etc. I tried to put the keyboard in 'Norwegian', which is the layout of my keyboard, but nothing helped. It seems that I must be missing some type of a pilot or a patch, which is present on each preinstalled system that I own, but somehow is missing on installed fresh, even if there are no conflicts in Device Manager. I have the same problem on the XP installation. Any suggestions?

    Hello again once, I managed to solve this problem by specifying the correct keyboard language in Control Panel. I didn't need drivers after all.

  • Question of AuthenTec fingerprint

    I have a refurbished Hp EliteBook 8530w with Windows 7 Professional.

    I did a reboot with the CD that came with the computer, everything was fine, except that it didn't reinstall about 5 of my records. One of the discs was the fingerprint sensor. Well I reinstalled the drive but can't seem to find out how to install the software real/activate the reader through my control panel so that I can connect with my fingerprint. It worked until I rebooted with CD.

    Help, please!

    Hello AsherLove,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

    I understand that you have a problem with your laptop. However, since it is a commercial laptop, you should post your question on the map cell of the HP Enterprise Forums for a better answer.

    Thank you and have a great day!

  • Issue of domain Google Maps and service

    Hello!

    I have a question about Google Maps and service areas.

    If I'm traveling and I'm going in and out of phone service, my google maps will continue to navigate?

    Thanks for all the answers!

    You're right Jay, but there is a setting in the cards that you may want to check. Open the cards and press on Menu > more > Cache settings > Prefetch on mobile. I think this make sure that once you have set up a route that she will prefetch all necessary tiles and store them on the phone so that if you lose a data connection that you will not lose the card too.

    Maps are directly related to your data connection. Even if the phone has a GPS signal, it will be able only to view or obtain cards if she has a data connection. If the phone Prérécupère all the tiles in a particular card that the data connection is not necessary and you won't have to worry about entering into the poor reception or no service areas. I hope this helps.

  • Removing XML element does not

    I am loading an XML file and I need to remove an item. I use the method of 'Remove a child' with a node to invoke but it doesn't work at all and throws no error.

    I have access to the item I want to remove so I get a reference to its parents through the property of 'Parent '. I then use the reference to the parent with the child 'remove' invoke node.

    There is no error thrown at all. Here's the XML code and which is highlighted in red is the part that I'm trying to delete.

    If the item highlighted in red is the element which we find the parent and try to remove it. It may be important to note that I was looking at the XML nodes of element had via the 'Get' for debugging XML to invoke the node and the XML mapped to what it should be. The value XML parent node has been the element with the name "Test TD2" and the child was the XML code highlighted in red. For some reason, it just does not remove the XML at all. I'm not sure why and any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
