  Recently, I've killed my Pavilion dv7 - 1147 Vista ca for the edition of office Xp Pro. I could find the drivers for pretty much everything, but I can't work in my audio drivers.   Problem solved. for someone else who has the problem, as soon as you install the MS UAA, it allows to detect certain hardware. Instead of having it go online to find the drivers, tell it to search in a specific directory on your computer. Even if you have the window "select a directory" open, run the sp45044 driver. The installation program will fail, but it puts the driver on your computer. return to the window "select a directory" and have it searching for C:\SWSetup\SP45044\WDM\WinXP. It now allows to install your drivers and audio will start to work immediately!

• Pavilion dv7 6123 cl: need drivers to connect to internet

  I had to replace the hard drive on my Pavilion.  After replacement, I installed Windows 7 to a new OS installation disc.  I don't have the original installation disc.  The computer works fine following the installation, but I can't connect to the internet.  Apparently, Miss him a driver, probably more than one.  When I try to connect to the internet, told me that my network card is missing a driver.  Because I can't online I can't run an automatice updating.  Suggestions to 1) what drivers I need, 2) how can I get them downloaded to another computer, to transfer to a USB key, and 3) how and where I install once that I get them?

  First of all... I'm not grumpy, geek or nerd... And I want to say these words to those who are at best.

  In this case, you need to see me as a kid in kindergarten, being taken by the hand and what to do, down on every detail. Sad but true.

  Without me know why, I've known several DLL files missing, and often obtained on those error messages.

  A pain in the neck, so I re-installed Windows 7 64 bit, because I didn't want to mess with these missing dll.

  After this relocation, I couldn't have the internet connection to my router. Fortunately, I have a fixed 10 year and longer, where I eventually found the driver I needed, so it works now.

  But now it seems that there are several other drivers missing or not installed.

  I got a little info, another post, it must provide information and hope that will be enough. If this isn't the case, then please let me know additional information which may be required, and where I can find those on my PC, so I can provide these.

  Some games do not run on my laptop because I have old version of the video driver. For example, they require AMD driver not older than from 2013.  I tried to update the driver AMD via site hp.com but the latest version I found it there from November 2011.

  Then I tried to put in day the driver AMD using HP Support Assistant, but he wrote me that my drivers are up to date. It is lie!  I tried to download the driver AMD amd.com

  It has detected that the latest driver for my video card is amd-catalyst-omega-14.12-with-dotnet45-win7-64bit

  So I deleted the older version of the driver and installed it again. But the new driver could not even detect my Radeon HD 6770 M card.

  Please, can anyone suggest me how to upgrade the video driver AMD?

  After a few days of searching on Google, I could find the solution. You can download the drivers of usermade from this source: http://leshcatlabs.net/downloads_unfil/ I downloaded Catalyst 14.4 WHQL UNIFIL v2.2 and it works for me. But you must follow all of the instructions written in the help file very precisely.

  You said in one of your previous posts that you have run the test diagnosis and everything going on, now you ran again and you get an error of memory.  Indeed, the error message indicates the checksum failed probably because of defective memory chips.  Reinstall the chips and see if the problem persists.

  Run the tests again:

  1. Turn off the computer and connect the power adapter.

  I am pleased to hear that the option is now available. When you set up a dual boot with Linux, I have very little information on how to do it. The only thing I would say, is to read the document "frequently asked Questions (FAQ) on Linux". It has a lot of frequently asked questions, but the main reason is, to the bottom of the page you will see an option to where I can find more information about Linux.

  Depending on what version of Linux you want to install, I suggest you post your question on the Linux community.

  If you had installed the sata driver provided, model you will need an additional step to work around the error ACPI by pressing F7 seeing (press F6 if you need to install a third-party RAID or SCSI driver displayed).

  Please use the Windows 7 drivers for your computer Entertainment Notebook PC, HP Pavilion dv7-1260us drivers page. For you current issue, you must install the JMB38X card reader driver from the drivers page.

  After installing these drivers, you post "Hardware ID" Device Manager (just the text string) for all other devices missing or unknown as illustrated in the example below.

  There are 2 possible solutions to install the Bluetooth driver.

  You can install 'Broadcom 2070 Bluetooth software and driver' and see if the bluetooth appears in Device Manager. If this isn't the case, please unisntall it and try with ' Ralink/Motorola Bluetooth Adapter Driver.  You can find these drivers in this link:

  Select the option "expand all" and with ctrl + f search for bluetooth.
