  Hello...  I have a complex piece of code reasonbly LabVIEW developed by a commercial company to run some hardware they sell...  Lately, I have successfully operated their equipment of an executable built from their source code...  So far so good...  This material will again be available for me, but not today.  Looking to set up a code I need to make changes, I wanted to see how it would be difficult to get the source code to run even if there is no attached hardware...  (There are a lot of comm of TCP/IP that lights up normally, so I knew there would be a lot of "bypass" code to do...)  It is true to the source...  However, when I ran the executable made from original source code, I don't get a single error... I have not the actual data, of course, either, but I can fake that...  My curious question, is why would a piece of supposed source code generates a ton of mistakes later and quite unexpected build ERROR-FREE at all when it is running from an executable made directly from this source code...  I even went up to present as to retest the source (tons of errors), and then just at that moment to build a new executable file just to be sure I was right that the executable was made directly from this specific source code...  The executable ran without error at all...  It's actually a very useful result for me, but I don't understant why the executable generates no errors...  Your thoughts?  Thank you... Bob...

  As I said before, you have automatic error handling is enabled in your development environment, but it does not exist in the EXE file.  Use a Simple error handler to 'manage' your mistakes and you'll get your annoying popups.

Errors is related to the HWS drivers on the target computer. The application works well on the host computer. I installed the engine of 821 ni.com on target performance. I also tried to put the instr.lib/nihws.llb in the same place as host machine, but nothing helped. Is there a specific place for lvrt.dll?

  The latest version of the driver HSDIO, NOR-HSDIO 1.5.4is available on the website of National Instruments under Drivers and updates.  Unless you need further development version 1.5.0, I would say that you upgrade.  Once you download the driver on your computer, using the options to download and install, installers that you create should refer to the new location of installation on your local computer source.  With is no longer pointing toward a VLM files, or network location that should eliminate the build error.

  I did a VI that use a serial port visa and who have a control to let the customer choose with serial port on which he wants to work. The program works correctly in Labview. However this program will be used for one of my colleague whose PC isn't Labview. Then, I made an executable file that also works in my computer. However, not in that of my colleague. He downloaded the runtime (8.6.1) and when it executes the program instead of having a list with all the serial port of the PC, there is only ASRL5.

  How can I get the full list of ports? I think that this error should be tied to the length of the engine operation (because in my PC, everything is OK), but where exactly is the error?
