Class/package name resolution problem

Hey guys!

I have an application called infused. I also have a package called Managers with a class called DataManager stretching from HTTPService.

A function in DataManager, I need to call a public function that exists in infused.

Now, if the application is called infused, then it's the default class should be called spent too, right?

But when I called Infused.loginResult (evt) I get error: access of the loginResult method maybe not defined through a reference with static type class.

I assumed that the application class would be in the namespace global and accessible. Am I wrong? And if yes how can I call the function?

Also, in the main class of applications, I have a number of functions called xxxResult which I need to call in a string that is passed to the function of demand of class. So the demand function can receive "login", and so the function to call in infused "loginResult".

How can I call the feature based on this string? I know that I could do Class [functionName] () if the function where, in the same class, but not the school for my first leader of question for the obvious solution for the second?

I'm a PHP5 OOP developer learn Flex, so please forgive my dumbassness

Thanks for any help.

Paul.

If your managers refer to components in the app, you're right - static is not an option. The other approach should work, however. Maybe you need to import the mx.core.Application?

    Hello

I just bought an Acer Aspire 571PG V5.  Whenever I do anything that involves the use of the radio I usually get the following error in the Windows system event log:

"The name resolution for the community.acer.com name exceeded after no configured DNS servers responded".

The address featured in changes to error messages according to what I'm trying to access the website.  In this case every 30 seconds or more.  The error ID is 1014, and the Source is 'DNS Client events'.  I'm not sure what the problem.  I have two other laptops on my home network using the same router and they are fine, I've never had a problem with them.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

  • The Peer Name Resolution Protocol service (PNRPsvc) or peer network (p2pimsvc) Identity Manager service does not work

I get the following error message when you run windows network diagnostics. I ran the diagnosis because I have a network with Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit on a computer and WinXP 32 bit on the other.  Curiously, I can easily see and manipulate all files through the firewall of Windows XP. Either way, Windows XP can not see files on Win7. I can drag files to the shared folder, XP can see them, but can not open the same when I enable the share using Win7.  I can see the Win7 computer name and I have a home network without password. When I click on the folder with XP, the error popup grey box says that I might not have permissions to access these files. Contact the administrator of systems etc. My network has the same name on both computers, so I feel totally betrayed by what is happening here. There should be no problem but there is a.

    Hi MarkWebber,

Method 1: I suggest you to follow the link provided below to start your computer in safe mode with network.

Advanced, including safe mode startup options

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

If it works fine in safe mode with network, try to put your system at startup mode minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

  • Name resolution fails when you are using multiple static IP addresses

When multiple static IP addresses are set on my single Ethernet adapter, name resolution fails most of the time in both directions. It sometimes works, but this seems like only I can when he in thing to go back to the IP address of a specific subnet (changing the order of the IP addresses in the config?).

Settings IPv4 of the Ethernet adapter (which I will refer to PC - 1, Win8) are generally the following:
    IP: 192.168.15.180/24
    IP: 192.168.1.254/24
    IP: 169.254.1.1/16
    Gateway: 192.168.15.1

Check name resolution from another PC (which I will refer to PC - 2, Win7) on the 192.168.15.0 subnet via ping returns often to the other two survey periods. PC - 2 IPv4 settings are:
    IP: 192.168.15.182/24
    Gateway: 192.168.15.1

    PC - 2:
    c:\>ping PC-1
Ping PC-1 [192.168.1.254] with 32 bytes of data:
    Request Timed Out

The outcome here is, of course, the PC-1 sees a query of a computer name on 192.168.15.0 subnet and it returns the IP address for this subnet.

In addition, and more to my main problem, PC - 1 does not return an IP address for our servers local (I'll call Server-1), returns the following error.
    c:\>Ping Server-1
Ping request could not find host Server-1. Please check the name and try again.
Ping the IP address directly works without problem.

The two problems are solved when the two 169.254.0.0 192.168.1.0 and subnet subnet are removed from the PC-1, leaving only the statically assigned subnet 192.168.15.0. The issue can be reproduced on 2 PC (Win7) as well by assigning similar static IP.

Does anyone have a suggestion or two to try?

  • Satellite C70 - A - 16 L - screen resolution problem

    Hello

    I recently had a screen resolution problem with my laptop (C70 - A - 16 L).
The max screen resolution which is imparted to me is 1366 x 768, whereas before I think he used 1600 x 900.

I tried the latest drivers, Bios, etc. and have also restored the operating system to a previous backup, as well as a new installation.
I also tried to roll back to Windows 7 (with proper drivers). They all offer the same problem.

This new maximum resolution display correctly - as if the LCD does not deal with the timings of 1366 x 768.
I believe that the Panel is OK and the problem he reports the EDID information properly - to force windows to use the new resolution.

Is there a download monitor.inf file that can be used to bypass the EDID reported by the Panel?

    Kind regards

    Antwist.

If the right to display drver is usually installed everything should be OK.

    Screen resolution problem

I have a dell latitude d630 2.5 GHz computer laptop under XP Professional 64-bit operating system.  The screen resolution will not be set above 680 x 480, and when I try to increase the computer stops with a black screen message that don't stay long enough onscreen to read.  Dell advised that they don't or support this machine with the XP operating system and that they have no drivers or other fixes for the problem.  I hope that you will be able to help and thank you.

    Hi dduck11,

  • Windows 7 Microsoft TCP/IP host name resolution order

The order of host name resolution has changed in Windows 7?

I assumed that the Deputy order (the order of the older OS)
    1. The client checks if the name queried is its own.
    2. The client will then search a local Hosts file, a list of IP address and names stored on the local computer.
    3. Domain Name System (DNS) servers are queried.
    4. If the name is still not resolved, NetBIOS name resolution sequence is used as a backup. This order can be changed by configuring the client's NetBIOS node type.
But, I see a difference when it comes 1 - "If the requested name is his own."
    That's what I do
    1. Tent client to connect to itself (a server that is running in the same machine)
    2. In windows 7, when I do a host entry to map the name of machines to 127.0.0.1, it connects to 127.0.0.1
    3. In windows server 2003, when I do a host entry to map the name of machines to 127.0.0.1, it always connects to machines IP (10.x.yy.z)
Can someone explain why this is the difference?

  • Screen resolution problems (Windows 10)

I downloaded the latest trial 9 Captivate for Windows 10 and screen resolution problems. Basically, making the software unusable. A lot of screens and dialog boxes seems larger than the current window, they are in, making the right and downstairs parts invisible window (usually, this is where the 'OK' and 'Cancel' buttons for example).

I'm Captivate on a laptop running 64-bit Windows 10 (Sony Vaio with an NVidia GT 640 M map graphic with the latest drivers)

Does anyone know how to fix this? Here are some examples:

    captivate1.PNG

    captivate2.PNG

    captivate4.PNG

    No retina.

What is the size of the police on? Win10, it is often larger than 100%, which is not really necessary for your resolution, but that's a retina display. I am using Captivate on Win10, but Surface Pro and laptop have a retina display.

  • Dell Studio 1555 - screen resolution problem

As I said, I have a Studio 1555 purchased in 2009. Recently, I had a hard disk problem and had to replace it. With replacement, I reinstalled Vista and drivers; However, the resolution of the screen only now allows up to 1152 x 864 - which spans a bit the screen horizontally. My hard drive before, it only lasted in the slightest. I think that I can not have installed the factory properly drivers, but I'm not positive. My replacement hard drive is slower (5400 RPM as apposed to my previous 7200 RPM), but I was told that this would have nothing to do with my resolution problem. Any thoughts? I'm a graphics guy and amateur photographer, so this problem of resolution just doesn't fly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update: it was indeed a driver didn't install I guess. I installed it and everything is right with the world now.
