Clean install / restore to fail Internet

I'll put up a 2010 MacBook Pro start as new for a next project. After erasing HD for a clean install, the installer returned a message that says El Capitan could not be verified or may have been corrupted. I resorted to the recovery of the internet, but this is also a message that El Capitan can not be installed due to an error. I don't have a backup time machine small enough to drive on the Mac - is it possible forward here?

Thanks in advance...

stop,

Disconnect all external devices

Reboot into recovery mode

If the internal collection fails try internet recovery

for best results, connect your mac directly to your router/modem and suspend any transmission from other devices on your network that can be download or steam.

OK, how much RAM have you?

    I found this information:

However, I remembered seeing something on the Internet about Microsoft 64-bit being unhappy with 4 GB of ram during the installation process of the systems... .then I got 2 GB of ram and the installation went OK! I will give the memory later.

  • XPS 420 - HARD drive failed, performing a clean install of Vista on the new HARD drive.

    Hey everybody,

My on my XPS 420 HARD drive failed and I'm trying to reinstall Vista using the disc that came with my machine back when I bought it.

I bought a new WD10EZEXAZ (1 TB Serial ATA HDD), he rose in the same dwelling as my old HDD (ST3750630AS * Barracuda 7200.11*). I start the PC and goto Setup, it recognizes the HARD drive in the blue menu.

Then I boot with the CD of Vista that came with my system. I proceed as indicated through the following url:

    Clean install of Vista

After its copied files, expanded the files, installed features, updates installed... it goes to "Complete Installation" and throws an error message: "Windows Setup could not configure Windows to run on a hardware on this computer."

I tried a few things I've seen posted on the internet, including trying to run msoobe.exe via command line. When I did, it allows me to Setup user... but finally I get sent to this message of error or another telling me I have to reinstall Windows.

I read else where some hard disks may not compatible with the Dell disk provides with my OEM machine. If this is the case, can someone advise? I really didn't want to spend $100 one another on a Windows 7 disc, but I feel like this may be my only option... but even in this case, I'm not so sure this will work or the other.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

    Tony

    UPDATE *.
Did some more research, I discovered my new drive HARD is an advanced HDD format... not sure if it has nothing to do with my problems (by www.wdc.com/advformat Vista should not need to perform the work before the OS being installed), but thought I would mention it.

    Thanks again for any help.

    ****************

Seems that I found the solution to my problem.

Problem has been fixed by going into the BIOS and change the Mode of Port SATA to IDE/native/AHCI native. After that, the installation worked without any problems. Seems that Windows Setup did not like the port mode is set to RAID.

Just thought I would post back everybody incase has had the same problem.

  • New SSD - clean install USB 10.11.5 fails

I have a mini Mac 2012 delay servier I use as a desktop computer. He had more storage that I needed if I swapped the boot with an OWC Mercury Extreme Pro 6 G SSD drive in the lower Bay, I left a second 1 TB drive 'data' in the upper Bay. The exchange took place without a hitch. I have rebuilt then key USB 3.0 I used initially do a clean install on the previous drive, with the latest version of El Capitan, I followed the instructions in this link: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201372

I unplugged everything except power, network, monitor mini displayport and USB drive built above. I then start the USB key, select disk utility and erase the disc SSD - Mac OS extended (journaled) and name it MacIntosh HD. Then I continue with the installation by choosing MacIntosh HD as the startup disk.

All apparently okay for about 5 minutes and then stops at "about a second remaining", he is sitting here for about 5 minutes and then goes to "0 seconds remaining", he is sitting here for a few minutes and then it reports "an error occurred during the preparation of the installation. Try to rerun this application".

I experienced this about half a dozen times, after a few times, I've downloaded again the file install El Capitan and recreated the USB installation drive. I let it run all night and the result is the same, there is always activity in the newspaper, but same result. I also ran on the SSD health check after that deletion and he gets a healthy ratio.

Before the error of the last entry in the log is "error writing to Volumes/MacIntosh HD/OS X Install Data / minstallconfig.xml".

If I come back in disk utility after the MacIntosh HD volume error is more rose. I read that if OS X sees an SSD and a Standard disc, it can try to create a hybrid car, but you can skip this process and have just a SSD drive. I also see an entry in the log that the second disc "failed, volume-tick" because "this disk is used for Time Machine backups". (I have a backup disk of another computer).

Anyway, looking for help. I'll copy the log for the next post, I can also call Macsales support but wanted to start here. Thank you...

The paper is long enough, decided to wait to see if someone actually wanted to see.

  • R050sa flow 11: Activation fails after a clean install on laptop pre-installed Windows 10

I just bought a HP notebook 11 r050sa stream with Windows preinstalled Home 10, but could not start when it opened its doors to the top (circle kept spinning turn for hours).

As I was intending to do a clean install anyway, to remove any HP bloatware, I decided to delete all partitions and perform a new installation from a USB key using the official Microsoft Media creation tool for Windows 10 Home https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10.

Installation went well but the activation failed indicating that I have "do not have a digital right.

How is this possible, since the PC came with Windows preinstalled 10? How can I get my license back?

There was a surprising new twist in this question, should I report it here in case someone else is in the same situation.

When I received the activation failed I reported to my original request, I had done the installation using the edition entitled 'Windows 10 unilingual homepage' (see figure below), which seemed to me the only option if I wanted to install "Windows 10 home" which is preinstalled on my laptop.

Yesterday I did a last attempt at creating USB installation after selecting 'Windows 10' (see figure below). Yet once, I removed all partitions on disk and performed a completely clean install on my HP notebook 11 r050sa flow.

The result is that, in the end installation smoothly, I found my computer with installed "Windows 10 Home" and fully active, without the need to insert an activation key of windows, with all the drivers installed automatically by Windows and without any HP bloatware!

I'm puzzled by the outcome, but happy...

  • Unable to connect to the internet with my Compaq Presario CQ5500F after a clean install of Win 7 64 bit

    Hello

I recently did a clean install on my Compaq Presario CQ5500F desktop, but when I finished, I realized that I could not connect to wireless internet almost anything. To clarify, my internet worked before the clean install. I know exactly of what readers have been installed, but I do not know the network controller has a yellow question mark on it now. (See attached image)

In addition, it seems that the computer does not have a wireless card although I was previously using an omnidirectional antenna external wireless connected to my wifi.

I have already visited the HP/Compaq site here http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=4209... to install the drivers, but it seems that the network controller, it does not install correctly.

Can someone help me please? I am very frustrated.

In fact, I just solved it!

I looked up the material ID I had just posted on Google and found that someone had the driver on his Skydrivefiles. Then I followed their instructions and went into the Device Manager and selected Update driver the driver of your properties of network adapters tab and pointed on the expanded files.

Turns out I need files for Ralink RT61 Turbo Wireless LAN Card.

    Everything works again!

Thanks for me direction in the right way, Paul!

  • HP Pavilion Notebook 15-n203ex: 10 a Windows Activation failed after clean install

To say things in a concise way, I bought a HP Pavilion Notebook with Windows 8.1 15-n203ex 64 bit pre installed.  On July 30, 2015, I upgraded my windows 8.1 to windows 10 which was provided as a free Microsoft Update and everything went fine except for a problem of display that has been fixed after installing the latest Nvidia drivers.

Now, after about 30 days, I thought to do a clean install to my laptop with windows 10 and so downloaded ISO appropriate and my installation. After the installation of the new operating system, it is not Activated at all no matter what I do, I get an error to enter the CD key.

Before you do a clean install of windows 10, using scripts from the internet, I received the Windows key from the registry that is unfortunately not be accepted by windows 10 now.

Microsoft has informed if an upgrade is done Windows 8.1 for windows 10 there is no need to have a key during installation should be the key automatically from the Bios, correct me if I'm wrong.

Please, help me to overcome this particular problem I am facing.

Even after 20 days Activation took place so I decided to do a brief study of the issue and find me a solution.

I solved the problem by downloading the 8.1 Windows 64 bit iso from Microsoft's Web site and installed. During installation, surprisingly the Installer did not ask the product key. Everything went very well and immediately after the update of the firt he invited upgrade me to Windows 10 I did happily.

There are several applications available on the internet that provides you with the windows product key 8 or 8.1 from the Bios. Neosmart found to be the most simple and free to use without any malware.

Now, my laptop is running 64-bit Windows 10 and fully active and up to date.

Hope that this could be useful for someone like me.

I'm going back between Web sites up-to-date, but without success. I someone could direct me to the link with the appropriate driver if I give you my ibs material?

If you purchased your computer with Windows 7 preinstalled, the computer or the manufacturer of the laptop computer uses drivers for it.

If you have installed Windows 7, you can always go and find Windows 7 drivers:

Access the site on your computer or equipment manufacturing > Driver and Software Support Section > search your computer or hardware model number > then your operating system > locate the correct drivers > download and install.

    Examples.

  • No restore factory after a clean install of Windows 7

Factory support key F11 RnR restores after a clean install of win7?

I did a new install of win7 and installed a RnR last on my T410. When I tried F11 RnR, there is no option to restore with. My SYSTEM_DRV and Lenovo recovery xxxx exist and are suitable for all the files in them.

I have recovery disks, but I just what to see if restore factory F11 works on this path.

Fix. I had already understood what you were doing.

I'll say it simple as I can:

    (1) installed at the factory

The secret is windows 7 added windows re (recovery of win7 to the mix environment). Lenovo plant reorganizing this to factory support. This has created a hidden from the factory restore boot entry.

    (2) your installation "sideways", IE, cram lecteurC.

This wax installation tips from lenovo. That is to say, no factory entry to move to the RNR standalone.

    (3) any property. do not delete anything. (such as SYSTEM_DRV).

    ==

You have a dead now at the new disk space.  This works. Large.

Use RNR and backup every week in a place (external). I know that it was not fun, but has been a learning experience.

    ==

    To clarify: (confusion)

RNR is the main big daddy.  This is the main task is to rescue by using a backup RNR. Recovery (factory) is a subset, not exactly. This just transfers control to another entry for starting a recovery plant stuff. Thus, Rescue and Recovery.  I answer all the time about it. Yes, they look different, they are.

  • Clean install, no internet

    Hi all

I just finished a clean install of Windows 7 Professional 32 - bit on my HP ProBooks 4530 s, which was exactly the same as the original operating system my laptop was running and now met the following problems:

    1. no connection usable Internet - the network and sharing Center says I'm connected, but if I try to use a browser, some pages won't load at all

    2. cannot open Itunes or Firefox - I also installed MS Office 2010, which opens without hassle; However, iTunes and FireFox will be open as a process, but not like a real application.

    3. open windows signal - I saw somewhere that it is a USB device problem solved by just unplugging the USB and reboot, but it did not work for me

For obvious reasons, not having no Internet is incredibly frustrating, and I'm borrowing portable ATM to my roommate fortunately.

    Thanks in advance

Found the cause of the problem of the internet. Norton is blocking. ARgh. It's a way to have internet security I guess...

Other issues seem to be resolved also. Norton is really bad...
