• Update file is invalid for this architecture?

Earlier this year, I bought a ReadyNAS NV + (silver body, 4 bays with 2 TB, plan 5.0).
It is currently running RAIDiator version 4.1.9 build 1.00a043 (Orange and blue FrontView web interface).

Today, I bought the following.

Python2.7_2.7.3 - rnsparc - 0.5.1
SABnzbd_0.6.15 - rnsparc - 0.7.0
SickBeard_0.485.1 - rnsparc - 0.8.1

Went to system/update / local. Click on "Choose file". Module ' Python2.7_2.7.3 - rnsparc - 0.5.1 "selected (bin file). Clicked on "download and check the image. Click on 'OK '. Received this error message, "update file is invalid for this architecture".

What is going on, the processor has been changed? Have I misunderstood the installation process?

Below are some information that might be relevant.

-J' did what I can to check the processor, but it seems to be nothing in FrontView or RAIDar that verifies this.
-I don't have SSH installed because I read somewhere that it invalidates the warranty.
-J' got this error even some time back, when I tried to manually update RAIDiator.
-J' just tried a few other modules SPARC and I still get this message.
-I have no third party add-ons installed.
-J' have the 'ReadyDLNA"streaming service and"TimeMachine support"lit.
-I have not tried one of the other architecture because I don't want to lose more money and I don't know that it is SPARC.

Thanks in advance for any help.

A tech at ReadyNASXtras (MDGM) solved this problem for me. It turns out that at somepoint, I tried to install PLEX that is not available for SPARC. He failed but was not removed. There was no evidence (apart from this error) FrontView of the residue. Installation failed has confused the script of update/s. The clean tech upward and everything works fine now.

Problem solved. Thanks MDGM.

P.S. I just learned by MDGM that a reinstallation of the RAIDiator firmware would have also fixed this.

• Can I remove the old update files that have already been applied?

Good evening! I just a quick may be a dumb question... when I've updated my computer, if I remove the before update... like when a service pack number, as for example I downloaded the number of service pack 2 What do I do with the number of the service pack 1? delete it?

Depends on the operating system - Windows

Please note this is only for Windows XP and is not on Vista or Windows 7

Folders that have uninstall as part of the name (for example $NtUninstallKB282010$ who reside in C:\windows (hidden files) are window Hot difficulty updating folders/files) can be removed safely (providing ever, you wish to uninstall the updates). I recommend you leave these records for a period of at least one month to make sure that the update works correctly.

These updates can be removed individually or together. To learn more about the update/s go on:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/xxxxxx
NB: XXXXXX = the actual number, not to mention the "Q" or "Ko."

Once you have removed the uninstall folders/files, then go to control panel, add/remove programs. Select the title of the corresponding Windows fix on the folder/file of the patch you just deleted, and select Delete. You will get a Windows error. This is because you deleted the uninstall folder/files. Simply choose OK and the entry will be removed from the Add/Remove Programs list.

Don't NOT delete the folder $ $hf_mig

For Vista and Windows 7

The update uninstall method in Windows Vista is quite different from that in Windows XP.

Uninstaller for each update folder no longer exists in Vista and the uninstall information is stored by the Volume Shadow Copy service.

After each update, Volume Shadow Copy service backup only the updated files.

So with Vista, it's a differential backup, rather than a full backup files for uninstall
in Windows XP.

This safeguard mechanism is used to save disk space.

So basically, you are unable to manually delete the uninstall it from the computer.

• Difficulty it has disabled my updates and I can't reinstall the update files and I can't even report

My automatic updates did not work: hang on to 2% or some patch downloaded to diagnose the so-called rpoblem difficulty he solved the problem but then said I had to register/reinstall update files; When I go to the microsoft website to reinstall, I can't do that... then I tried to present a report on the relocation failed... and I can't do same! what the * is at my PC, I tried the thing "net stop wuauserv" and who did nothing I tried the regsvr32 MSXML3.dll thing (as well as other dll files) and doing anything please help. Suggestions? Uninstall the update files? Back to a Restore Point? I have Windows XP with microsoft security essentials and NO OTHER antispyware

1. you have completely removed the AVG Free before you've installed MSE (originally).

2 and should have removed entirely the Norton application (or free-trial) before (the original) that you have installed AVG Free.

3. only one 1 antivirus should be installed & loading at startup at any given time.

[Note: McAfee System Scan Plus is installed, load at startup or include no real-time protection.]

4 yet the computer is still at least ten 10 reviews of security updates missing, one dating from February 2011.

5. misguided use of registry cleaners may have something to do with all this. [1]

Given the above (especially #4), my recommendation stands.

A new feature has been added to cleaning disc in October 2013, which is not available in cCleaner. You must change the existing settings to take advantage of the new feature. Type Disk Cleanup in the search above the Start button box and press ENTER. Click OK and after the calculation of space, you will see a window with a list of files to delete. Use the right-hand scroll bar to see the entries hidden further down the list. Check the boxes in front of the backup of the Service Pack files and cleaning of Windows Update and click OK you will see savings every time after Windows has been updated, but they are not as important when it is run after the first time. You must restart the computer to complete the process.

• TR/agent.1220467 detected as I ran that Satellite A100 PSAA2E BIOS update file

I was about to update my BIOS Toshiba laptop Satellite A100 PSAA2E on-site official (I downloaded the update file and unpacked to run it):
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/innovation/download_b * ios.jsp? service = EU
When my antivirus (Avira Antivir Personal) has detected a TR/agent.1220467

Of course, I stopped everything, asked to remove, Avira have another full scan, it was deleted again and restarted my PC.

I am always very careful with what I download, but as I trusted blindly the official site of Toshiba as being safe, I don't run a virus scan on the file update and stupidly flat it once it has been downloaded.
HOW CAN TOSHIBA HAVE INFECTED FILES TO UPDATE HIS SITE? This is really unacceptable.

And now how I will:
1. ensure that this virus is gone for good?
2. switch to update my BIOS knowing that it is not safe to do?

Please help me!
.. .and make sure that this file to update the BIOS is not infecting hundreds of other users!

Hello

Don t worry buddy there is no virus
The BIOS file is safe and I guess that your virus scan recognized the file as a virus because of the similar application procedures

First of all you should not update your BIOS if your laptop works well!

Second, you must disable all 3 rd party applications like virus, firewall, malware, software software of scans, while the BIOS update!
These tools can affect or interrupt the process of updating the BIOS and the laptop cannot!

You know that the update of the BIOS is a sensitive technique and if something goes wrong during the update, then you will not be able to power the device!

• How to replace "apply downloaded update now" with "Check for Updates" in the menu help when the update fails because the downloaded update files are missing but the "Ready to install update" window keeps appearing?

Question

I have another type of problem with Firefox

Description

Window "Ready to Install" Firefox "Software Update" appeared. The folder "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\updates\0" contained the files update.mar, update.status and update.version. Each of the 3 files have been deleted. The next time that Firefox has been started, no update occurred because update files were missing. In the Menu bar, clicking Help showed in the menu drop-down that "apply downloaded update now" was always on the list. By clicking on "Apply downloaded update now" open "Software Update" window "Ready to install update", so that Firefox still considers that the update files exist, but they do not. In the window "Software Update", by clicking on "Restart Firefox" restart of Firefox, but once again it there's no update, and remains "apply downloaded update now" on the Help menu. How can "Apply downloaded update now" be replaced by "Check for Updates" so the update files can be downloaded?

You can manually reset the software update feature by closing Firefox and remove the file "updates" (which seems you have done) and the two files "active - update.xml" and "updates.xml" - these are in the installation (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox) directory or in the profile folder (C:\Documents and Settings\nom_utilisateur\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\something.default).

If it does not, see our KB article How to resolve the failure of the update of Firefox update error message - the section of 'last resort' can be useful, or or read this article from MozillaZine KB, software update.

• Find recently updated files in the folder or any name of a file in a folder

Hello, I am looking for a quick way find the most recently updated file name, name of GOLD really a single file in a network folder. My file has a lot of files inside, so I prefer not to use loops, etc..

My confusion begins here: I can use wildcards for some commands to get information about files, such as:

FileExist ("directory &" *.) TDM')

FileDateGet ("directory &" *.) TDM","fdModify")

I want to really just a file name in the folder so that I can use DataFileHeaderAccess. The file most recently updated would be best, but I'm flexible.

Hi Julia,

By chance this record is declared as a search box? If so, you can use a programmatic DataFinder query to return the most recently updated data file.

Otherwise, I would use the filesystemobject in VBScript. I can't seem to get the Item property for the collection of files (CF) to work, but it's easy enough leave the complete loop after the first inning thanks to:

Directory = "C:\". »

Set fso = CreateObject ("Scripting.FileSystemObject")

The value of f = fso. GetFolder (Directory)

The value fc = f.Files

FOR each file in the CF

MSG = Msg & file. Path & + "\n"

Output FOR

NEXT

MsgBox Msg

In addition, he really should not take long for the loop to find the latest file, even if you have a lot of them in this folder:

Directory = "C:\". »

Set fso = CreateObject ("Scripting.FileSystemObject")

The value of f = fso. GetFolder (Directory)

The value fc = f.Files

FOR each file in the CF

ModifyDate = file. DateLastModified

IF MostRecentDate< modifydate="">

ModifyDate = MostRecentDate

FilePath = file. Path

END IF

NEXT

MsgBox FilePath & + "\n" & MostRecentDate

• Delete the update files?

I want to delete the update files to make more room in my C drive, but I don't know what is the result if I did. Is there anyone can tell me? Thanks in advance!

Hello Alonda,

Thanks for the response on the answers.microsoft.com forum.

It seems that you are really wanting to get free space on your hard drive. Certainly understand this importance. Did you run a disk cleanup? Do this by => click Start ORB-> computer-> right click on your drive Local (usu. C :) and select properties-> under a general tab, click Disk Cleanup

Disk Cleanup will usually present your files can be deleted without reprecussions. Also, most of the files that you can delete Windows putting updates in question the question about WINSXS, get lodged in this folder. Here is an article of Nice forum describing the WINSXS file a little more away.

What was the original version of Windows 7 you have before using the "upgrade" Anytime Whenever the upgrade cannot normally upgrade to XP. It simply allows the upgrade of Windows from a lower to a higher level:

• RoboHtml 6 crashes when generating documents printed (& quot; updated files & quot; step)

Until a week ago, I had been using RoboHelp HTML version X 5 on Windows XP. I used it mostly to generate. CHM files, but would occasionally produce the same material Word documents. I have Word 2003.

Last week, I uninstalled RoboHelp X 5 and installed RoboHelp 6, all without difficulty and have used v6 to continue working on this same RoboHelp project. In particular, I added conditional build tags to TOC items.

Now I'm generating an another doc Word, based on a specific conditional build tag. RoboHelp begins the process of generation, but at the stage where it is "Update files", I get an error message from Windows that RoboHtml.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close, I want to send a report to Microsoft, etc. I click on view technical information, but all I get is that RoboHtml.exe is the module which crashed.

Any advice on how to fix or work around this problem will be appreciated!
