Clear HOWTO #{securityContext.authenticated} when the user opens a new tab in the browser

Hello world

I use a template for my ADF Application, so I make the application menu depending on whether the user is authenticated or not, if the menu is not displayed in the login page and use a common template for all my pages:

rendered = "#{SecurityContext.Authenticated} '"

My problem is that the value remains, so I would like to know what is best practice to turn it off when the user opens a new tab, or maybe my approach is quite wrong?

Thanks experts!

Jose.

Hello

I changed the method, so I give the menu according to a 'login' property in a managed bean:

With the corresponding accessor:

public boolean isLoginPage() {}

Var currentPage = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .getViewRoot () .getViewId ();

If (currentPage.contains ("login")) {}

return (true);

} else {}

Return (false) End Function

}

}

Thanks for your help!

Jose.

  • How can I change the tab settings so that when I manually opened a new tab, my home page opens in it?

    Internet Explorer provides the following options to open a new tab:
    "When a new tab is opened, open:
    -A blank Page
    -The new tab Page
    -Your first homepage.

    On Firefox 3.6.10, the only option is the new tab page. If you click on 'Close' an empty page is displayed. There is no option for a new tab, open your homepage.

    In addition, you cannot right click the home button to 'open in a new tab '.

  • When I click to open a new tab how to get Firefox to display recent used frequently the web pages instead of my home page?

    When I click the icon "more" to open a new tab appears again my homepage. It displays a page of Web sites recently or frequently used in a format of screenshot showing the home page of the Web site that I could then click on and this website would be the load. Recently, Yahoo had an overlay on its splash screen that asked if I wanted it to be my default search engine. Without thinking, I clicked it and that seemed to change the way my home pages loaded on startup and how clicking on a tab is no longer produced the results I'm looking for as described above. I have since fixed the problem of the homepage so that it now loads properly when Firefox starts.
    Help, please. I would just go back to what I had when I clicked open a new tab. If anyone needs more information or clarification I will provide willingly. Thank you very much.

    One of your modules corresponds to this number, for example, the version 3.18, or sounds associated with "hp" in some way? You can copy and paste a list of your extensions in a response by selecting the Extensions from the list on the next page with the mouse, then using Ctrl + c or right click > copy. Either:

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

    When you paste, it's a little messy, but we are used to it.

    I use a HTML5 canvas. Help, please?

    It's normal. You test something that will eventually be on a web site. Animate sets up a temporary server for testing.

    One thing you will notice, so I'll explain it now too, repeated test movies will give you new tabs, rather than reload the existing tab. This is to avoid caching problems. When you have finished doing a test, close the tab, then the next test will be the only race.

    Tests at Animate are for AS3 projects.

  • Firefox won't open a new tab

    Firefox won't open a new tab on my browser - the option is there, but when I press nothing happens? I have checked all of my options, but couldn't find anything wrong?

    Hello, it seems that you run a very outdated version of firefox & old plugins - this is a serious security risk, because there have been dozens of corrected critical vulnerabilities from firefox 3.6 was released (it was more than two years ago).

    You must do the following as soon as possible:

    • Download and install the latest version of firefox from getfirefox.com
    • Check your plugins to https://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/ & update all those which are obsolete
    • You can also remove all the toolbars you have installed, because they can cause problems. in firefox, go to tools > addons > extensions and uninstall Yahoo! toolbar, motor driven, Radio TV 2.1 Community Toolbar and "Ask Toolbar". then you can launch the searchreset extension to restore the search parameters which leads crushed...
    • do a full scan of your system with your security software
  • That 'Open a new tab' is pressed nothing happens. This just started happening.

    New tabs always appear when a link is followed by an existing web page, but when I press "Open a new tab" to the right of the existing page, nothing happens. No new tab appears.

    This problem may be caused by an extension that is not working properly.

    Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  • Open a new tab (before the update, clear page) after updated a page web search engine (junk))

    I never asked for this, and I've never heard of him.

    I tried to find where this page is without success, can anyone tell me please how to eliminate this site and what I want is to have a clear page, when I click on (open a new tab)

  • How to prevent a specific page to view the suggested sites and top when you open a new tab?

    I like the feature of FF that displays top and suggested sites when opening a new tab. I use my laptop for work, for recreation. But as I share the office with co-workers, I don't want to have all the sites that I visit that are listed. No matter how many times I remove a specific site from the results, it keeps popping up.

    I'm sure that the addition of an option to prevent some sites never show it, would benefit a lot of users of FF, who share the same problem. I don't know that I'm one of many with the same problem.

    You can change the order of the boxes on the subject: newtab page and drag an item on a tile that is different to pin in this position or you can remove a Web site by clicking on the close X to block this URL.
    You can drag a bookmark item or the history of the sidebar and drop it into a tile on the subject: newtab page pin this point and have your own favorite sites.

    Changes manually on the subject: newtab page are stored in the preferences you can find on the about: config page.

    • Browser.newtabpage.pinned stores the Web site you pinned to a tile.
    • Browser.newtabpage.blocked stores the Web site that you've deleted by clicking on the X button in a tile.

    If you do not keep the changes after a reboot or have problems with preferences, see:

  • How can I return search box in a new tab? When I open a new tab, it is only to show the address bar.

    When I click on + to open a new tab, this tab shows only the address bar, no search box! This problem is created suddenly. Previously, this problem, when I opened a new tab it shows google search box and the address bar. Now, the address bar of the new tab worked for both page looking box and address bar.

    I followed: config process and it's worked. But, when I start my computer after a few more hours I see this problem! What can I do? Please tell me.

    I have attached a picture of your understanding.

    I wouldn't try a reinstall immediately. An ordinary reinstall often not made the changes that it would bring.

    user.js file will be a small file in your profile and contained text. If copy you and rename user . txt or user.js.txt it will be readable by any word processor, even if Notepad can open it is.

    Paste the content in your next reply. He can give us some clues as to what is happening.

    In fact the user.js file will change behavior of Firefox and you want to simply rename temporarily; instead of renaming a copy; in order to disable and see what happens.

    Just another thought the usual options used for newtabs

    • Subject: white - it's a plain blankpage, no bar to search it.
    • Subject: newtab - currently by default has a search bar and the tiles
    • topic: home - a search bar and some settings icons etc

    You can try one of these out by typing in the address bar Subject: House or whatever, (or try on: subject).

    It is has two troubleshooting steps simple which will help, but you don't seem to have tried yet.

    First, try fashion without failure of Firefox.
    For example, in now the SHIFT key when you click the icon to start Firefox

    The second interesting to try procedure is to create a new additional profile for test purposes. Which erases most of the settings and not be affected by file user.js or interfere with your existing settup. You get the choice what profile to use when you start Firefox.

  • When I open a new tab by pressing on the + sign, I am taken to another other than Goodle search engine. How can I avoid this so that I go on google?

    When I open a new tab, I get redirected to a page that is not google. I want to start with google and go from there.

    You can check the browser.newtab.url pref on the topic: config page and set this pref to your preferred the new tab page.

    • the new default tab with the tiles page is on: newtab
    • the default homepage is Subject: Home
    • to a blank page, you can use Subject: vacuum

    The pref browser.newtabpage.enabled must be set to true to use the page defined through browser.newtab.url like the new tab page.

    See this article on the page tab (topic: newtab):

    Your list of details of the system shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time you start Firefox.
    The user.js file is present than if you or another software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be here.

    You can check its contents with a text editor (right click: 'Open with'; do not double-click).
    The user.js file is read whenever Firefox is started and initializes the preferences to the specified value in this file, so the preferences set via user.js can be changed temporarily for the current session.

    You can remove the user.js file if you do not create this file yourself.

    You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:

    Here is some additional information on the configuration of the new tab page:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste newtab and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    • Blank tab = > subject: empty
    • Built-in Firefox homepage = > topic: welcome
    • Any other page = > full URL of the page

    Some traps:

    If Firefox will not let you change this setting: you can have what is called SearchProtect on your system.

    Firefox if allows you to save your changes, but he doesn't know: one of your extensions may be the substitution of her. You can consult, disable and/or remove extensions on the addons page:

    "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons > in the left column click on Extensions

    If the modification works during your session, but during the next startup is leads to: you could have a user.js file in your personal settings Firefox (your Firefox profile folder). This article describes how to track down and delete the file: How to fix preferences that will not save.
