  Hi, I recently bought an Iphone and my acer aspire 3680 laptop does not recognize it. I went through a lot of solutions to solve this problem, and I have determined that the problem was that my driver is not updated for it.   The problem seems to be associated with driver. Here are the steps I will try everything first:

  1. start the computer in Windows without the trendy iPhone
  2. click on 'start '.
  3. click on "Control Panel."
  4. click on 'Add & Remove Programs '.
  5 locate Apple Mobile Device Support and uninstall
  6 find iTunes and QuickTime and uninstall both as well
  7. do not restart the computer after uninstalling
  8. click on 'start '.
  9. click on 'run '.
  10. Type "msconfig" (without the quotes) and press enter
  11. click on the "Startup" tab
  12. uncheck all entries that have the words "iTunes, Apple, Mobile Device or QuickTime" in their
  13. click on 'Apply' at the bottom right
  14. restart the computer
  15. go to the Apple website and download the latest version of iTunes, which should be 9.x
  16. Once downloaded, run the program installation and once the application is installed, restart the computer
  17. Once restarted, open iTunes, follow the installation procedure and then plug in your iPhone

  1. make sure that you can access the Internet on your computer.

  2. see if your computer meets the minimum system requirementsiTunes.

  3. check that your operating system is up-to-date.
  4. in the MenuBar at the top of your screen, click the Apple () > software update. If you don't see a software update, choose Apple > App Store, then click on the updates tab in the window of the App Store.

  5. make sure that you have recent versions of iTunes and Safari.

  6. If you have a firewall, your settings may not allow you to connect to the iTunes Store. Learn how to set up your firewall.

  7 connection problems are sometimes caused by keychain issues. To reset your keychain, use S.o.s. Keychain.

  8. communicate with your ISP Internet and if sure these ports and servers are enabled for your network.

  Are you sure that you don't have a message indicating that the new phone could not use the old backup because the old backup contained a new version of the iOS the new phone has on it? You cannot restore a backup from a device running a newer iOS on a device with an older version of iOS on it. In this scenario, you must update the new phone to the latest version before you can use this backup.

  The following steps can help (try again after each):

  • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > general > use > software update - remove any file update, if one is displayed.

  With regard to Revel:

  You can install free revel if you are a paid subscriber or not. I don't know why or how you got to pay apple site. Maybe you clicked on a link.

  On your ipad and iphone, you can go to the app store, search for revel and press "install". There is not a new version for mac, but you can go on the mac app store and install version 1.10.
