  Regardless of the user name you used and password used is that the user name and password set on the server for freeFTPd?  Is there a configuration directory for this user?  You can send a screenshot of this freeFTPd?

• Clone and Workflow of Sysprep

  I installed Orchestrator 5.5 device and used the workflow "Clone, Windows Sysprep with a single network card and credential.  The final goal is to clone a model and join to a domain, but I think that there is a problem with the administrator password after the sysprep...

  I created a Windows 2008R2 vmtools model installed and a default administrator password.  The workflow creates the clone and assigns the correct network card, picks up a dhcp address and seems sysprep it okay because it receives a new host name but it always reboots stops again admin password at the first login after the sysprep and nothing happens after that.

  I can see the sysprep.xml in c:\sysprep was created and contains all the right settings, that I walked into the workflow as well as the guestcustutil.exe.  I read somewhere that it may have problems passing an encrypted password, but I do not see where to change the value to pass as plain text?

  A few things to note:

  The password contains letters and numbers only.

  I have change the network of vc:network to vc:distributedvirtualportgroup which there seem to be problems of validation, but it still works well.

  The workflow stops at "waiting for a dns name to create", but I think that the problem occurs well before the admin password.

  If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great appreciated.

  I just made some progress - I went back into the template and removed everything in the Panther and Temp folder then revived the workflow that the workstation is now renamed as well as his new admin password.
