I am cloning 2nd instance as the UAT, but still I can't perfect it

I still have another different error even, I followed the procedure, this time, the appstier:

  • Name of the queues, Instances of the Application, the appellants and this Proxy that I miss read from the help file?

In a Word, I want to get a few clones of a vi a LabVIEW project reenterant.  Yes, I launch the Clones through CGRA and pass an integer in the clones to implement the queue named ("%d MyClone_")

"Clones" seem to be the calling project.  The Hieriarchy view displays "Caller Proxy" for example "" MyReenterant.viACBRProxyCaller.<.int> ". And yet, NAMED to clone instances queues seem to have nothing to do with the clone named queues?

SO how should I name a queue so that it can be passed in a specific clone of a vi that is part of the same project?

Ah, your problem is that you use option 0 x 40, cloning pool, in addition to 0x80 for your ref VI open.   The reference you get is a reference to the clones, not a specific clone pool.  Thus, the clone of the real start is not the same as the clone that you place in the void Panel.   Change the options of REF VI open to only 0x80.  Then it works because each reference now points to the specific clone.

  • Oracle concepts: Clarity needed on the recovery Instance

One of my colleague was discussing the recovery instance with me.
We've discussed on the position of the control point, the phases of recovery of body (front bearing rear bearing), and then he asked me what is the point of rolling toward the before (application of redo logs) and then roll back (undo blocks application), why not apply only committed transactions?

I told him that this happens because:
    (1) roll forward to recreate the scenario just before what Instance has crashed
    (2) roll front/roll back is the fastest way to recover

I don't know where I got this learning, maybe some blog or article (probably not), but is it correct?

    Kind regards
    Ankit Rouault

    NVO wrote:

The 2nd point is completely wrong!

Let me clarify the frame of the 2nd point, it was mentioned in the context of the application only transactions posted during recovery. As all vectors of change go in the redo log files, there is a mechanism to identify only committed transactions, it would have taken more time (its really hypothetical because there is no mechanism exists, right?) by this mechanism to identify transactions of dedicated (from newspapers of recovery) that just roll forward and back.

There is no context at the moment, that's wrong , plain and simple!

There is a mechanism to identify committed transactions and called commit . But when you are recovering, you don't recover only transactions posted but you re-create the scene before the crash, which means, you would be required to apply the two vectors of change / committed and dedicated work. By your logic, if Oracle would start looking for committed transactions, it would be a lot of questions. One, time needed would be higher. Two, there may be an instance validation has been issued but before that the full validation message could reach the user, the Forum got arrested while is those blocks that can be today in the data of the file and have obtained a status of active transaction and are not sure whether or not they are committed. And finally, the LGWR writes way is just to continue to push for change vectors in the flow to restore order of the CNS. So to do a restore, you must reapply all these data that have been changed in this same order of SNA.

Instance recovery means that you do not encounter a physical file is overwritten or deleted but there is a loss of memory and some tampons were waived to be written in the data files and now, data files, control file and the log files are not synchronized.

The second point, where you say that it is the fastest, is wrong, because even for the resumption of the proceeding, it can take a lot of time and depends on the amount of work has been left before the instance has been broken. Roll forward is the way to put data files synchronized with the redo log files and control files. So if the data files were about control number 100 and control files and redo files log recording the number like 120, the missing gap of 20 numbers would be reinstated in the data files because only then, the database would be open. Now, your friend doubt that why not only committed transaction because you never say that a transaction is made only when there is a validation. Whenever any DML is encountered, it will cause a transaction. And you don't want that plenty of work to be recreated to ensure that, if there was a commit issued before the instance has been broken, the next time, Oracle would ensure that the work is there and if not, he'd be back. And above all, in redo log files all agents of change, not only for committed transactions.

That's fine, even to understand here.

Bring your own thoughts now that how you understood this explanation, until I started to get into more technical terms.

I would like to know your opinion on 1 point. Assume that something went wrong (in terms of transactions) because the instance has crashed, if he rolls forward (as it happens automatically) on the next boot, it will crash again?

He would return for the (next) start the instance. If all you're doing are plain DML, they don't plant the instance as long as you have not met any bug in the case that, next time also the instance may crash.

"Essentially, installation for WebCenter (WCS) Sites is not the point to halfway. This "point to halfway", this is where the installer invites us with the window "Installation Actions. In this window, we are responsible for deploying the WCS and the CASE of the applications on our application server (we chose WebLogic), restart WebLogic and then click a button of 'TEST' to see if the deployments are successful and the database can be reached.

We were able to deploy applications successfully, and then once we clicked on 'TEST', all tests have passed. Then we click 'OK' to go forward with the 2nd part of the installation (where it is supposed to create database tables, etc.). However, this is where the installation appears to hang, 73% full. It does not all tables in database, does not seem to do anything and it connects not further to indicate what may be possible problems.

Indeed, the only record we found is under < Toilet installation directory > / ominstallinfo/install_log.log. It shows no errors, and final recording is the success of the tests in "Midway". If there is a way to generate more registration, please let us know.

The WebLogic logs generated when we restarted WebLogic ("as indicated in the point to halfway") show that there is no error in connection to the JDBC Data Source, which the WCS and CASE applications have been deployed successfully, and that all servers are entered successfully comes back online.

If someone wants to see the logs, please let me know.

We have done all the previous tasks required with installation, and if someone wants to see our environment WebLogic startup scripts configurations or configurations of database (we use Oracle 11 g), we can also supply those. We run WebLogic with an Admin Server and a server named managed_server_1. We deployed the WCS and the CASE of the applications on this server instance. We are also running Apache plug-ins for WebLogic.

    Another thing I noticed:
It seems that for the 2nd part of the installation, there is a 'Install' button that is not clickable. Maybe a main question is, how do this clickable button?

Please let us know if you need more information. Your help will be greatly appreciated, as we seem to be stuck after the point to halfway to the installation.

(See Image below, also provided hierarchy if that helps)   Is it possible to have the values to be copied to the new instance?  Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

    Example.png

    Hierarchy.png

    Hello

If you clone the data node that the TAG subform is bound before the addInstance (1) then the new nodes form binds new data nodes.

So try this JavaScript in the click event of your CopyTagBtn

    tags var = page1.resolveNodes ("TAG [*]");

Download the last marker to clone

    var tag = tags.item (tags.length - 1);

Create the new set of data to bind to the

    tag.parent.dataNode.nodes.append (tag.dataNode.clone (true));

Add the new instance of tag, which will bind to the new data set

    TAG.instanceManager.addInstance (1);

In this scenario, I should install 3 distinct Vision of R12.1.3 (using CDs or downloaded zip) or clone VIS1213 in 3 different places with different SIDS, possibly on one or more separated nodes (as above Linux node has insufficient free resources). In this case, the need for available server resources and disk space multiplied by 3, so that DBA maintenance for these 3 new instances is added.

Hope that I have clear air up to this point.

Then I was thinking if we have "virtual instances" within an existing instance of Apps, by copying from a vertain org level. First I thought I'd take THE level, but it will not work if an instance of group to work with HRMS claims. We must therefore take business group level. After that we will create the appropriate role and responsibility, user profile options so that the new user can see and work on the new BG and data area down only. It will be like a separate instance to use.
Benefits of my desired task will be

-no separate server resource, the required network
-no additional DBA not involved maintenance
    -no separate required backup plan

So here it is to create 3 new "virtual instances" right within the same instance of VIS1213. New groups will have same URL, same existing TNS details but 3 credentials different existing access. Each of them would be limited in a way so that they can not see each and other data and can not hurt each and other changes.

This can be achieved if we can copy an existing group of its activities with org structures, metadata and data, within the same instance. Oralce planning cannot be copied within the same instance configurations.

What I've done so far was I manually created a new BG, attached an existing sobbing (CoA, Agenda / currency), created a new, copied and modified accounting structure flexfields before fixing, created the new ORGANIZATIONAL unit, and then a new InvOrg of master and a new InvOrg clild, defined the profile MO some GL and HR profiles. Then I extracted finished master and data assignment article category Masters against a master/child existing InvOrg, updated the data for newly created InvOrgs, inserted into tables insterface and ran seeded import conc program element. Except for a few, all data have been loaded into base against new InvOrgs tables.

Then I tried with master provider (with sites and contacts). A few AP configurations are required, and then data provider (+ contact + site) have been loaded against OR newly created (under new BG) base tables.

I do not proceed after that. I'm currently looking for ideas from the experts on how to go further.

Planning is able to create this kind of 'virtual instance' within the same instance of OSTEOARTHRITIS?

    PL nowadays return.

    Yes.

do I have to use the new SID for DB?

You can use the same SID, but this is not recommended (as long as you can use a different port pool). The best practice is to have a different name to SID and the pool of different port, so it will not come into conflict with the existing instance. Also, make sure you have enough resources on those servers (cloning off-production to the same machine, where the production is running is not a good practice).

all the notes good metalink for quick clone on the same machine?

No specific document for cloning on the same machine and just follow the steps in the quick Clone of the document - Fund of Documentation quick Clone version 11i and 12 [799735.1 ID]

  • Essbase 2nd Instance using backup

    Hello

Can I use 2nd instance of essbase (after installing essbase on another port on the same server or on another server) to copy the sourcr to the target application and use it as a backup.

What are the compromise that I do more general backup process.

No advantage with this or any disadvantage.

    Concerning
    Kumar N

Arrange the server to backup a copy of the source server with all applications, databases and the remaining directories required for operations on the server.
Synchronize the entire file of app n/b source and directory server backup system using all the techniques of full/incremental backup
Synchronize the files essbase.sec and essbase.bak b/w the two servers.
This synchronization of file system should be done after the two services are stopped.
Once the two servers are in sync.
Start the servers and cross-applications and data.

If Ant thing occurred on the production server, just you need to catch up services and you can use the backup server for the company.
You must make the necessary configurations such as the interface with upstream and a stream system.
Once production issues are fixed, you can fall back to production.

Note: It is good if you don't record health quarterly Server backup even if no problem in production. Then we will know no unexpected problems in setting up the backup server.

    Am I missing something?

  • Do I need to install the new instance of shared services

    Hello

We want to improve performance by installing on the V11 schedule instance in an another VMware Windows 2003. Then create a new application in this new instance. Is - this recommended? What are our alternatives?
Also, we can share our first instance of planning HSS or do I reinstalling me HSS for 2nd instance?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

There was some brief information in the Assembly doc - http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10530_01/doc/epm.931/hp_windows_install.pdf - Section 9.3.1:-adjustment upwards planning on multiple servers

There is no direct installation to planning version doc 11 must therefore try and chase the information down if it still exist, I find it very disappointing that they did with the installation for V11 documentation

  • My 1st tab is opened in Unicode mode, but the 2nd tab opens in the West - WHY? Need both in Unicode.

My home page has two tabs; the 1st is Google.com and the 2nd is webmail.juno.com.
When I opened in IE8, the two legs have the Unicode (UTF-8) encoding.
When I open it in Firefox, the 1st has encoding Unicode (UTF-8) BUT the 2nd tab has ALWAYS WHY Western encoding?
I always have to manually go to View/Text Encoding and change each time.
IE8 does automatically - how can it be fixed in Firefox so the two tabs always open in Unicode?

The following extension (that I have not tried because I have not noticed any need for it) has been updated lately, so there could be more compatible with the changes about the characteristics of the extension for Firefox 40-41:

  • How to use multiple profiles within the same instance of Thunderbird

A month ago, I got Thunderbird set up with three profiles,

can be used in the same instance of Thunderbird. Can you help me?
Both computers are / were only Windows7 64 bit.

Thunderbird opens on the default if a profile
    or
The Profile Manager is responsible to ask at startup it will allow you to choose which profile to open if it opens the last used profile...

Thus, it shows a profile at a time within a single instance of Thunderbird.

However, only one profile can have multiple e-mail accounts.
for example: I run 4 e-mail accounts in a profile.

The thing is, I don't know how to access the 2nd internal hard drive and where to start. I did all of the following commands in the Terminal, but I don't really know what they mean, and what can I do with this information. I've been Googling but most are guides on how to install a 2nd hard drive etc. I hope that the information below is enough for someone to give me advice please?
