  HM, normally it should be also a "High" option or something as "always higher". So, I suggest you to perform an update of the bios and then to check whether this option is available.

  I am new to the NI DAQ interface. I have a USB-6001 and I am trying to use this device to control some flowchart in C. What I want to do is:

  * set digital output lines with high and low intensity and change their status as needed (in C).

  I tested the device NEITHER Max--> Test panels and found that the device is capable to do that. Then I try to do in C. I have checked hace examples and function I use is one called "DAQmxWriteDigitalU32". I have problem in the understanding of its input parameters. I tried something with my own knowledge, but it does not work as I expected. Here is a test I did:

  I just want to set ' Dev1/port0/line7' and ' Dev1/port0/$line0"at a high level, but only ' Dev1/port0/$line0' answer me. The second parameter of the DAQmxWriteDigitalU32 function is numSampsPerChan. If I replace (currently 1) with a higher value, such as 100, I see that "Dev1/port0/line7" sends a number of 1 output, then back to 0. So I guess that the problem is just that I understand not all parameters for the DAQmxWriteDigitalU32 function. Is someone can you please tell me how I can set up a line of digital output 1 or 0?

  I finally find a way to do it! The feature works very well, and my problem was not set the data value to write correctly. It seems that if I want to write a 1 to the port0/line1, I put "data = 2 ^ 1" rather than "data = 1", because by default it is the second bit of the port.» Similarly, "data = 2 ^ 7 ' high level to port0/line7. I find that this setting is surprising when you want to control an individual line. It seems more reasonable when you control the whole port. In any case, is to solve the problem!

• CPU usage always high on my laptop to the point Windows 8.1

  So I did a clean install of windows 8.1 with ISO files, and everything worked fine for a while.
  Now, all of a sudden, my CPU is always greater than 50%. I tried to do a cleanboot, and I think it might have something to do with "Windows Error Reporting", or "Microsoft Windows Search index". I made a few screenshots of the Task Manager:

  It's probably the search indexer.  To be sure, try disabling the Windows Search service under Computer Management / Services (press on + X to get there quickly).

  Make sure that the person who provides still images is measured in PIXELS. Not MM, inch, DPI - but PIXELS no no. No other video issues.

  Your 'canvas' in first 1920 x 1080 (HD 1080) pixels, it's the size minimum everything should always be to fill the frame without having to to scale upward (loss of quality). Of course, if the image is portrait style, then it will NOT fill the frame, but rather will be black on the sides, bottom replacement or as others have suggested. In this case, make sure the height is at least 1080 (width will be narrower than 1920).

  You said you want to crop, like Ken Burns, so then you would like images greater than 1920 x 1080, such as the 3456 x 2304 proposed. Allows you to zoom in to a certain extent using pixels available in the image without actually upscaling the image at all. The more you want to zoom in, pixels more than you need to achieve this without degrading the quality of "blow up" the image.

• Very high readings of temperature CPU of the Mac Pro 8-core 2007

  I have a Mac Pro 1.1 updated to level with two Intel Xeon X 5365 CPU and firmware 2.1. The system has worked very well for months. However, I'm worried about CPU temperature readings. Assuming that the readings are correct, I have no explanation for the difference in typical 30 degree Celsius between the processor and the heat sink.

  Is it possible, that the CPU exceeds their life expectancy?

  During a stress test, I can see the following typical readings:

  CPU core 87 C / 189 F

  CPU a heatsink 58 C / 136 F

  B processor 91 c/196 F

  CPU radiator B C 59/138 F

  I use new thermal paste Arctic MX-2 and tried various measures, including polishing of the surface of the CPU and the heatsink using sandpaper grain 1000. Nothing has so far had no effect on temperature readings. There should be enough good contact between the heatsink and processor during the installation, because they stick well enough to remove the heatsink again.

  Your temperatures look a bit high, but not outrageous. The temperature measured on the Silicon of heat will be always higher than the temperature measured on the radiator. That's what the radiator is supposed to do, leads away from the heat to the fins, which would measure even more cool.

  Your Mac allows to adjust speed of the fans to the top in a loop of feedback, founded the temperature of these measures. You can place a floor under your minimum speeds of fans. This can be done with the tool similar to some tool you already use, like the SMC fan control.

  If the processors to exceed their safe operation temperature, your Mac will perform a sudden uncontrolled power off.

  I noticed that since a few weeks I'm not able to buy a movie more if:

  -Set store account never ask for password

  -Activate restrictions (set a password) and all buy "limited."

  It works with the same configuration perfectly on my Apple TV 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation, where clicking on the buy button you are prompted to enter the password instead of having to enter your iTunes account password every time.

  But on the Apple TV 4th gen, once I click the button to buy, I get the circle of rotation and it keeps just there, never ask the password so that the operation never happens.

  If I disable the restrictions for the purchase of movies, I can buy the movie (do not ask for an access code and password)

  If I put the password on all your purchases, I am also able to buy the film.

  But still, if I set the password to "ask always", then enable password, set 'focused' purchases (so I'm in the best situation: should I get the password dialog box when I'm about to buy anything, rather than the full itunes password) it simply doesn't.

  I'm trying to debug a hardware problem on my Toshiba Satellite A45. I am running Ubuntu 10.04, but I don't think that it's operating system or related software.

  THE PROBLEM: The CPU usage is high and applications slowly to a crawl after using an intensive application of memory for a few minutes, i.e. to watch a video or a game. Basically, anything that could use the screen much. If instead, I work only from a prompt, even when the application could do a lot of work, I do not encounter this problem. After stopping all applications, the CPU usage is always higher than normal (90% idle, should normally be slowed down to about 99%).

  Xorg now typically showing about 6% (normally use< 2%).="" if="" i="" at="" any="" time="" after="" this="" try="" to="" work="" in="" any="" application,="" usage="" is="" still="" bogged="" down.="" only="" a="" reset="" gets="" me="" back="" to="">

  Note: My system has always worked very well and I did not made the installation of the software or changes when it started to happen.
  However, the laptop is a 800 miles round trip at the rear of the car in a padded bag.

  DEBUG: This doesn't seem to be the RAM that I replaced the RAM and reinstall the RAM, and the problem persists. This doesn't seem to be the hard drive that I can try to run it from a Live CD (without use of HARD drive) and yet everything slows to a crawl.

  HELP: I don't know how to debug from here.
  I don't have extra pieces of hardware to make swaps.

  Any ideas more how to debug this?

  I think that it is a typical software problem because the RAM and the HARD drive has been verified you have reported this in the message

  So what to say maybe some virus or malware likely to obstruct the CPU and the memory usage
  Or there is some process in the background that are not properly

  I recommend you to reinstall the Windows operating system or another distribution of Linux that runs NO Live CD, but which is installed on the HARD drive
  I m sure that s kind of the process that is disabled and crashes somewhere in the background

  I have a P100-347 and had graphics problems of stuttering while playing games. Updated BIOS 4.0 to 4.10, it solves the problem of stuttering!

  Now, my fan always runs at maximum, it never ideals.
  It's always the same, even when I choose its configuration. I use the same drivers as before, just only update the bios.

  I tested with the latest divers chipset intel and Nvidia alsow driver and it's always the same.
  So my concludes is the BIOS, is Toshiba knows something about this problem and work on a newer bios?

  In our DB Oracle 11 GR 1 material, we are facing a problem of use high temporary tablespace...

  Currently, I did the size of tablespace temp that 200 GB, but im afraid, that will be used too much upward.

  My concern is

  1. when I checked in the sessions of $ gv, gv$ sql table, SQL not runs, which uses temporary spaces, but the current use of the stand space temp near 75%, i.e. 175 GB!

  I read on other forums that temp space may not immediately released. But 175GB is too much in my opinion

  I tried the sub queries that will tell which session uses the amount of temporary space. But normally the same query will run and 97 GB of temp tablespace is sufficient to run the query.

  Excessive temp space is more often associated with inaccurate estimates (too weak) to sort and hash operations.

  Solve the excessive use temp space is usually a two-step process:

  1. find SQL with excessive temperature, get the metric of effective implementation of the enforcement problem, look for estimates inaccurate when comparing estimates cardinalities real vs.

  2. once the estimates are correct, if the temp space usage is always high then consider sizing of manual activities.

  Although the use of temporary space has increased sharply, then either you had a sudden increase in the data or you have had a change suddenly in the execution plan.

  Use the AWR and ASH to study, subject to the license.

  If it is a change suddenly in the execution plan, then you have the easy option to use a plan sql database or a sql profile to lock in an older implementation plan with a lower use of temporary space.

• High using the Virtuakbox virtual machine CPU load

  I have a MacBook Pro 2.5 GHz processor dual-core Intel Core i5 (Turbo Boost up to 3.1 GHz) with 3 MB L3 cache.

  I use VMware Fusion Pro 7.0.1 (2235595) to install and use Windows 8 to run the Simulator on my MacBook internetworking solution.

  These simulators come with Oracle VM VirtualBox and they used to run in the Windows virtual machine on my MacBook Pro with no problems.

  So far, no problem!

  However, after upgrading to OS X Yosmite 10.10.1 simulators no longer work due to the high utilization of the processor by VBoxHeadless.exe

  I deleted the virtual machine, I uninstalled VMware Fusion and reinstalled, then reinstalled the Windows operating system, makes all the possible update and finally installed solutions simulators without success to have any Simulator market, they used. The reason is always high utilization of the processor by VBoxHeadless.exe as seen in the following images:

  

  I then moved to bootcamp and all do it again. Now simulators all run as before but on windows on the bootcamp partition.  Now I can even run a lot of devices in simulators like in the following photos with no problems:
