Hello

Follow the suggestions and see if it helps.

Method 1

Run a full antivirus scan on your computer.

Microsoft safety scanner

http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-AU/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again. He also does the disk check, and you may lose the amount of data.

Method 2

Perform the system restore to a date when it was working fine before.

  • Compatible mouse HID installed incorrectly as an USB host controller

I'm having a problem with Win7-64 install my mouse (HID-compliant generic) as a USB host controller and then turns off because it does not properly (surprise!). There is no support for my mouse Web site because it is a specialty vertical ergonomic mouse (zero Tension mouse is the name of it). There is no disk to install the software to. I tried to look generic HID-compliant mouse drivers to see if there a software installation package, but not luck. Everything points to a black hole, called Logitech.

Under Win7-32, the device installs and runs correctly as a generic HID-compliant mouse, but when I move to my Win 7 64 box, it doesn't work.

I tried to go through and uninstall the driver and reinstall using the generic drivers in the driver sys32 directory, but it won't let me do that. Win7-64 insists that the device is a USB controller, when it clearly isn't. I also tried to use the legacy device installation procedure, but no luck as Windows gives me any options even at a distance that may be regarded as 'mouse '. Maybe, I'll dive into the registry and try to coax Win7-64 in the light like a mouse. * sigh * I know... do not go, I could really spoil things! I promise you that I'll just search.

    Hi Catroast,

My apologies for asking redundant questions.

The operating system uses the information stored in the firmware on the mouse to identify itself.

This process can be damaged by an anti-virus that is confounding the install as an attack and prevent the correct information transfer.

You can try to install the mouse with the anti-virus temporarily disabled to see if it affects the issue:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

Change the ranking or the type of device a piece of hardware is identified as it is a matter of updating the driver.

Of course, the necessary driver is selected according to the firmware of the mouse.

I think the issue here is the 64 bit version of Windows.

It is possible that the chipset drivers which are installed may need to be updated.

They are the other component of the hardware identification system.

The chipset drivers are for on-board devices from the motherboard (USB, PCI, sound card) if embedded and can sometimes be outdated or corrupt.

This can cause the material to be misidentified as well. I recommend that you check the site of PC manufacturers to see if the drivers have an available update.

One last suggest would be to see if a BIOS firmware is also available from the manufacturer of the PC.

It helps in the process of installing equipment, working in tandem with the chipset drivers and BIOS settings.

I see that the site recommends Windows 98 to XP for operating system compatibility.

It is possible that they have not updated the device drivers for the 64-bit platform.

Honestly, I'm surprised, he worked on the Win7 32 bit PC, but it uses the generic driver in this case.

A 64-bit driver is probably much more specific to the device, and therefore a generic driver will not be not available.

When I plug in my compatible mouse (Logitech) HID the page scrolled down and can't move up again after a first click, sometimes I hear a loud hum that stops when I say - connect the device. the pointer works very well and where I position, I can just scroll with it. I have tried to disable the s synaptic touchpad and still have the same question. I am running windows vista 32 bit home edition on a laptop HP Compaq. This mouse was previously working and all of a sudden this question arises. everything has been updated I can find.

    Hello

I suggest that you uninstall the software of the computer mouse and then reinstall and check if that helps.

To uninstall an audit of the program:

    Uninstall or change a program

Please post back with the results so that we can help you better.

  • Do I need to uninstall it before installing a ps/2 compatible mouse

    Hello

should I uninstall ps/2 compatible mouse? prior to installation you recommended

First a little advice.  If something is not broken, do not fix it.  You say something tells you that your mouse driver was obsolete, but it was the work of the mouse?  If it was, it was a mistake to fool with the driver.

In regards to your PS/2 mouse, is what brand?  The Synaptics driver sounds to me that it would be for your touchpad, not your mouse.  Your touchpad works?  Worst case, you can buy a USB mouse and use it.  You can buy these for as little as $4.

If you need to come back before you begin the update of drivers, you should study the system restore back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem. To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore. Click on the box that says show more restore points.

    -

When you got your system back as you, I invite you to buy an external hard drive, and a good backup 3rd party program. You can configure it to automatically do everything in time and frequency of your choice. 1.5 TB external hard drives is approximately $90 these days and a very good FREE backup program corresponds to the Easeus todo backup free of charge that you can download from

http://www.todo-backup.com/products/home/free-backup-software.htm . Who can make you save a lot of time and frustration, the next time something like this happens. Sooner or later, it happens to all computers for one reason or another.

    Good luck.

iCloud drive holds shadow copies of all the files on your Mac so you can always access your documents, even in offline mode. It is supposed to keep your documents synced to your devices, not as only an off-site storage to save space on the mac.

You can't stop the shadow - on iCloud drive all files will be downloaded to your Mac, if you enable iCloud drive.

If you want to iCloud drive as an external storage without the shadow, don't turn on your Mac, but only use the web interface at www.iCloud.com to download and view the documents there. But then you will not be able to see iCloud drive as a drive in the Finder.

  • Driver Wireless Laser Mouse (PA3706E-1ET1) problem software on Windows XP

I have a Toshiba Wireless Laser Mouse PA3706E-1ET1 that gives a serious problem with the MouseDriver.EXE software provided on the CD with the mouse.

    * First release _ * _: when you install the driver on the CD I get an error message saying that they are not certified by Microsoft. The documentation that came with the mouse has an additive brochure that says about it and ignore that the software works without any problem.

    * _The issue_ *: with the mouse driver, I get a mouse icon in the windows taskbar and clicking on it will allow me to set up all the extra buttons running. Everything works very well at this point. The problem occurs when I try to shut down Windows (this is Windows XP) it will fail to finish. It seems to me close a few icons in the status bar, but then it stops. I can click on stop again and it still will not close. If I click with the right button on the mouse icon of toshiba in the windows taskbar and click EXIT in the drop-down menu, then shut down Windows and then stops. It seems that the mouse driver is to avoid a stop down. This is what is displayed in the event viewer:

    * _Third issue_ *: it is serious, I have Microsoft Virtual PC. When I launch and run any VPC I get a blue screen of death. The error is DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and the offending component is SysMouseFilterF3.sys.

If I uninstall the mouse driver that disappear from all of the above questions. The mouse works but not all buttons. Scrolling the mouse left + right, vertical and the back and buttons before work, but the parchment of horizontal tilt and two additional buttons do not work.

I can't find any mention to my model mouse on Toshiba or the Internet in general. Is there an updated driver for this mouse or in any way I can solve problems above without losing the functionality of the extra buttons?

Re: Toshiba Wireless Laser Mouse PA3706E-1ET1 (which is appears as 'Sysgration USB mouse' in hardware)

Yes, Andy, I have the same problems with this mouse. No driver updated (or even original) with a view to anywhere.

Called Toshiba - all they could suggest "just use the drivers on the CD" and unable to offer any other suggestions!
No drivers on PC World UK (seller) or Sysgration site or the other.

Author of the driver (info email the driver DLL) contacted but no response until now.
SysMouseFilterF3.sys does not seem to be the culprit because it causes a blue screen of death on the startup of the system.
In order to get the mouse to work I just uninstalled Sysgration drivers and delete the mouse in the hardware list.

Windows Xp then tried and it seems to work ok with driver default for Microsoft - but only right + left, scroll, front + rear, Alt + Tab appear to function.

Colleagues, it takes up to a new driver appears!

  • NI Stepper drive is compatible with NEMA 11 both NEMA 42 engines step by step?

I have an NI PXI-7350(Motion Controller), a UMI7774 or (Universal Interface), and a (Stepper Drive) P70530 NOR and tried to connect the new NEMA 11 stepper motor actuator linear Hayden Kirk and kept getting a constant red flashing light on the driver. I then plugged my new actuator linear motor NEMA 23 stepper Hayden Kirk and the pilot got the green light ahead go and it worked fine. I consulted the manual and saw that the driver was compatible NEMA 17-34 Steps. I tried the third affecting both the NEMA 11, nothing helps. Does anyone know a player NI Stepper, which is compatible with my UMI and motion controller and is also compatible with a NEMA 11 and NEMA 42 (another engine step by step I need) stepper motors?

    Hello T.I.

It is true that our engine controls step by step only have been evaluated and tested for engines not to not NEMA 17, 23 and 34 size. I personally haven't seen or worked with readers with the NEMA 11 or 42 engines step by step, but given that NEMA standards are only a standard size, as long as your engines are under tension, power and plug for your engines to P7000 series inductance, walk, then they should be able to work.

  • Age of Empires II - "can't initialize graphics system. Make sure that your video card and driver are compatible with DirectDraw.

    Hello

I have a problem of Age of Empires 2 running on my new computer. Keeps displaying the following error message: "cannot initialize the graphics system. Make sure that your video card and driver are compatible with DirectDraw. "Someone at - it solutions to this? I have already visited many forums and trying different solutions; None of them helped.

Tried solutions: change the compatibility and as an administrator, switching to 16-bit color, turn off my graphics card, execution of the extension "nostartup" of the game, looking for old patches from Microsoft (which most are now unavailable due to the game being so old). I KNOW that others have been able to get this game to work on the Windows 7 operating system, but with a few other quirks and I KNOW my video card and driver are more than capable of handling this game. Any suggestions?

I had the above problem with AOEII:Age of the Kings. My brief spec is Windows 7 Ultimate edition (SP1) and a card nVidia 8600 GT. I did the following (make sure you reboot after each installation):

Make sure that you are running the latest patch of AOEII:AOK (2. 0 a):

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=35

Download and install the latest version of DirectX:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=5264

Download and install the latest nVidia Driver suite. I left the autodetect my card software and reset all my default settings. I also installed the full software suite:

    http://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

Finally, right click on the shortcut of AOE and click Properties. Click on the Compatibility tab and select the following:

-Run this program in compatibility mode - choose Windows XP Service Pack 2 (!) NOT 3!)
    -Disable visual themes
-Disable the Composition of the Bureau
-Run this program as an administrator

One of the above options maybe work on its own, but that's what I had to do to make it work and I tested it after each step.

    Good luck!
