  I have a text field and want to create autosuggest (type ahead) for a text field in the ADF. I have a column in the database table to drive this list to the text box and must link this column to a text box and give an error when the user enters another value, different from this list.   If you do not enter data in the text field 2 then you can set the form field property to is not mandatory, but if you want to disable the 2nd text field, you can add a check box in front of it to turn off the field. This can be achieved using JavaScript.

  I have a text field with text ghost. Also, there is a button to add additional text fields. When a user clicks on the 'add an additional text field button' new text field appears but without the ghost of the original text field text.   There is a drawback to doing it this way (many things in memory), but unless the files are big, I suggest to try this:

  // build the string from the file just opened
  stringReadFromFile = String(binary : fileHolder.file, encoding : "ascii")
  

  Once you get it to a string, you might analyze it looking for '\n' line by line. Let me know if you need this code and I'm going to him as well.

  This will create a new instance of the page when the content goes beyond the first page.
