Codec H264

H264 Codec - I understand that WMM and WMP requires this codec to play/edit the HD of my new camera (Canon 500 d) files. I searched on the web and still cannot locate a reliable or which seems to work fine. Can anyone help?

This one works well for me: http://download.cnet.com/Media-Player-Codec-Pack/3000-13632_4-10749065.html?tag=mncol.

  • Why can not import AVI codec H264 video?

Amazing! I don't know what to say, when you import the guest of the file doesn't support or damage

I have a question sent twice, I'm sorry, I hope that this software comes with convert CFR, but this software has many problems, my normal save AVI video, using the most common H264 codec, the file is not a problem, the software application error?

I use the MP4 format to import, use the same codec, the result is imported successfully!

OK, I love this software, this software can improve it? I know, it can use the transcoder / converter to solve, but too much trouble!

First does not support H.264 in an avi container.

  • Lack codec h264 in after effect CC (2015)

    Hello.

Miss me the h264 codec in after effect CC (2015). the problem persists for about a year. I have this codec in first pro, but not after the effect. What can I do?

After effects encodes is more directly in H.264 (he didn't do a great job of it in the past). You can return an intermediate codec to EI or send your AE comp directly to Adobe Media Encoder.

I almost always rendering directly to EI. This is because AE CC 2014 multiprocessing. So, I'll work in 2015 CC to enjoy snappier interface and open the project file in CC 2014 to make with multiprocessing (as my system can use this feature very well in most of the projects).

Here's the Adobe blog about uninstalling: using Adobe Media Encoder to create H.264, MPEG-2 and WMV videos get out of After Effects

If you talk to a lot of Veterans around here, they will say that the AE h.264 encoder was buggy and did not do a good job. They call deletion "good riddance." The AE team is small enough, so put their resources to improve the work of EI to VFX compositing and motion graphics, and leave the team work Adobe Media Encoder encoding of things seems logical.

  • What container do I need for codec H264?

    Hello

I'm quite new to video editing. A friend of mine who is an experienced video editor said I should use the H264 Codec. I shot the images with my iPhone 6 and want to create videos for Youtube. That no container I chose when I create a new sequence in my first Pro CC 2014 project?

    Thank you in advance,

    Oliver

    Hi Oliver,.

(You can just import your iPhone clips and drag one of them to the new question button) the stationery button) at the bottom of the project Panel.  It will implement a sequence to match the settings of your phone footage.

Then when export you can send it to Media Encoder (file > Media export and then click the queue button) and use the vimeo or Youtube presets - probably a 1080 p set.

It's the easiest way for you to go without becoming accustomed to the selection of parameters/export formats.

Regarding the H264 codec that normally lives inside a .mov or .mp4 container.

    Hope this helps

  • ProRes 422 LT or H264 source clips?

For a particular edition project each video clip has been provided to me by two codecs: H264 (directly from the device) and Apple ProRes 422LT (I think that these have been produced via the compressor original H264 clips). I need now to start editing in FCP X. The question is which set of clips should I load in FCP X? 422LT tongs are four times the size of the H264 clips and so will gobble up the disk space. Is that their advantage uses them, instead of H264 clips with proxy files created by FCP X for editing?

Thanks a lot for your comments.

If you have a newish, with fast CPU and GPU computer, then there is probably no need to use the LT files. You also should not need proxy files either, unless you do a multicam project.

  • 55VL900a TV play Mp4 H264/VAC port USB loses Audio Sync during playback of video

    Hi all...

I have a problem with my TV (55VL900a). I would like to convert all my video media type that both my Ipad and my TV can play. So far I have not been able to find a combination that plays on both.

I'm close, when convert a MP4 (container) file using the Codec H264 / AAC audio, it plays perfectly on my Mac and on my Ipad, but when I play via the USB port on my TV the sound synchronization and progressively worse fate gets more through video, I get. I find a few words on the 70 minutes mark the file becomes a watchable.

Interestingly, when I even convert video to mkv contatiner (also H264 / AAC) is no problem. Plays perfect. What is good in what I used the TV, but bad in that I need two copies of everything, 1 for TV one for the Ipad.

My Question is, is how much the TV is... ? Other people have this problem or is it my that defective TV. ?

Some would like to help... Thank you guys.

    > Interesting fact, when I even convert video to mkv contatiner (also H264 / AAC) no problem

In [Manual VL900A | http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/file/product/manual/5187/55VL900A.pdf] (page 70) you will find a list of files and codecs that are supported in my internal media player formats.

If you want to use the MP4 media format, the codec supported are:
    _ * Video * _
    H.264 (MPEG-4 AVC)
    Part12 MPEG-4: 14
    * Audio _ * _
    MPEG-1/2 Layer 3
    MPEG-2/4 AAC LC
    MPEG-4 HE - AAC

  • Update/change the firmware on a Camileo P30

Hi, I'm new here... I have a little problem with two * camcorders Camileo P30 *.
They appear to be identical, they have been purchased at the same time and from the same retailer, and they also have the same code number (PX-1496E-1CAM). And yet, they have two different firmwares.

So different all in one, full HD, grab AVI with codec H264 files and a 1440 x 1080 frame size, the other, with documents same settings_ recorded files MOV with encoder prunedecythere STROKE and a frame size of 1920 x 1080.
    WHAT GIVES?
It is a * MAJOR * incenvenience for me, since I bought two identical camcorders precisely the advantage of having to deal with the same kind of audio and video files!
Is there a way to change the firmware one (or two) camcorders so having two machines _identical_? (On at least a / v files)

Please let me know something... Thanks in advance

    Alex

    Hey,.

    > So different that all in one, full HD, AVI files with H264 codec and a grab image size 1440 x 1080, the other, with the same settings files MOV with encoder AVC prunedecythere records and a frame size of 1920 x 1080.
What happens if the record with a resolution identical film, e. g. HD 1080 p? Usually two cameras should save some MOV files as mentioned in the user manual.

You can post versions of firmware on both devices please? It would be interesting

I would try to reset the camera which records avi at the default settings files. Go to the menu of the camera, select default settings.

If it doesn t work I would contact an authorized service provider. Normally, they should have an explanation for that if it of normal or not.

  • Unable to import file .mp4 in first - "Unsupported format or file damaged."

    Hi all

I have the video from a surveillance camera system I am trying to import into first. The program is iVMS-4200 by Hikvision. I download files to my desktop fine .mp4 and they initially only played in VLC... until I have download a plugin on the site of Hikvision and now he plays as well in Windows Media Player. I thought that plugin would be favourable import in first, too, but he did not.

First says "Unsupported format or corrupted file" and will not import the video file.

Encoder says "FILE name could not be imported. The source file appears to be corrupt. Check that it is a valid file. »

I am able to convert the file with a third-party program and import it, but if I could skip this step and import the straight line of files for the first that would save me hours and hours of conversion time.

Here's the info from the video file:

  • HD video files jump in size to the publication in the 13 pre. How to avoid?

Hello everyone, I'm using the Dutch version of the pre 13. Thus, some names of menu/button will be Dutch. I hope that you will find what they would look like in the English edition.

I built a little project autour. Video MTS files, downloaded from a camcorder. Video, AVCHD 1920x1080i, 25 fps, approximately 17000 Kbps.

I made a few simple changes: change the points of entry and exit in fasteners to remove the bad images. There was 1 min 52 sec of video I want to publish it on computer. You select MPEG, there are two options that produce MPEG2 files: "MPEG2, 1920x1080i 25", who need MB (!) 344 and 'Hoge kwaliteit, HDTV 1080i 25 ", who need 210 MB. File MPEG2 times do not play in Windows Media Player, producing its only (video and audio have been verified at the time of publication). What's wrong?

To be honest, I expected that PrE could suggest me to produce with a codec H264 MPEG4 files. Under the AVCHD, there is the option "MP4 - H264 1920 x 1080p 25 (p)(, non pas moi).» It uses "Bestandstype" H.264 and will produce a file of 439 MB (!). The size does not change when I select the settings are the same as those of the video imported under the "Advanced" button... ». I find it surprising that 1 m 52 takes so much Mo. The original size it takes about 100 MB/min of video. Codec is not optimal?

If the problem persists, it will be impossible to create a DVD disc or Blu - ray containing an acceptable length of the video.

I'm looking forward for advice. Thanks in advance.

    Of your particular source

    bitrate can be expressed

    17000 kbps (kilobits per second)

    16.6 Mbps (megabits per second)

    2.1 Mbps (megabytes per second)

If you want to spend time of seconds to minutes for your clip 1 minutes and 52 seconds (112) with this bitrate, you might estimate a size of file with this AVCHD like 126 MB compression.

If you take 1 minute and 52 seconds timeline export to a file

    Publish + share

    Computer

    MPEG

    with Presets = MPEG2 1920 x 1080i25

you work with other than AVCHD compression and the default bit rates are higher for the parameters of flow (Minimum 18, target 25 Mbps and Maximum 30 Mbps). Have you tried adjust default bitrate with a bitrate of the original film?

If you take 1 minute and 52 seconds timeline export to a file

    Publish + share

    Computer

    MPEG

with Presets = HD TV 1080i25

work with other than AVCHD compression and the default bit rates are lower than those of MPEG2 1920 x 1080i25 (Minimum 4 Mbps, target 15 and 18.5 Mbps Maximum.) These parameters should give you a closer at the source file size before you customize the bitrate.

But I don't see anything special about this situation - given a bitrate of the source that is exported by using the export settings baud rate. Are adjust you the bitrate export settings under the Advanced tab of button/video? You take into consideration your choice of video compression and bitrate settings?

When using Publish + share/computer/MPEG, your video compression will be MPEG2 (with extension of file m2t or mi/gal). If you are looking for video compression H.264, which can be found under publish + share/computer/QuickTime as H.264.mov. Also, check out post + computer part, AVCHD to H.264.mp4 and H.264.m2t. But, find rates under the Advanced button of the preset. You do not have to use the default values for Adobe, but rather your own compromise between the bitrate, the quality and the size of the file on the settings tab advanced video button of the preset.

Reading the MPEG2.m2t and MPEG2.mpg is discussed in the next post.

  • File AVI to ORDRO HDV Z35 not accepted

Hello, I have the camera to ORDRO HDV Z35 digital cinema

    CODEC: H264 - MPEg 4 HVC (Part10) (H264) Decodiertes formula Planar 4: 2:0 YUV

Audio: WAV, IMA ADPCM Audio (ms)

    I use Windows 8.1

The player VLC and Windows Media Player can play AVI files without problem.

But Premiere Pro does not read, it says file unknown or damaged.

    Think it's a Codec issue.

    All the solutions to him?

H.264 will not work inside an envelope AVI http://forums.adobe.com/thread/854115

-then use the MOV wrapper if YOUR camera offers this option

-Says THAT VLC convert in response to #6 http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1172956

  • Importation of DVDs for use on the Web

    Hello

aplogoies if it is "a stupid question", but it's my first foray in the creation.

A clinet, whom I do a web site gave me a DVD with demos of its products to the vob format. IE the dvd has two files about this one audio an video I think!.

I downloaded avs video converter and convert vob to AVI and mp4 files

If I import the mp4 in first they are imported okay, if I import the avi file I get the following error

    file format not supported floor.

I searched the Forum and opens the file in history with the following results

    dump.jpg.

I guess I have two questions, the end video will happen to a YouTube channel so I am better off using only the mp4 conversion or should I convert it to AVI. If this last why make this mistake

    Thank you

    Ian

Just rip the vob on hard drive and import them into first (no need to convert)

Export with a predefined, Youtube which lies beneath the H.264 format.

First does not support avi with codec h264.
