To get the "Nero" thing figured out, I took the advice of someone on the Forum/Blog of Nero. All the research I did, the problem seems to be with Microsoft .NET Framework... .and all the solutions I found talking about it, "UNINSTALL all THE .NET FRAMEWORK & REINSTALL" ... Is it possible I deleted something out of the register so far here and which is cause of all this?
If so, is it possible to fix WITHOUT doing a new install of Windows 7?
OR... anything can be a problem... Please HELP!(And please note: I am a first year student college with specialization in computer science... but I just started last semester, so I don't know what I should... yet. - though, I SHOULD have known better than to mess with the registry!) My bad).

Code 643 Windows Update encountered an unknown error
I continue to encounter this error when you try to update windows. The steps I have is use selective startup in msconfig to disable all process/services non-windows before running Windows Update and I still received the error. I checked my update history and don't have any error codes listed.
There are many updates to install? If so, can you try to install some both (miss those who are updates .NET)
Indeed, none of them are updates to .NET?

Windows Vista - Error Code: Windows Update encountered an unknown error
When you use Windows Update on my computer the program informs me that there is an important update for my computer. After clicking on the "install updates" button
After that, he says:
Update 1 of 1
Microsoft. NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 update for Windows. Then he informed me that the updates were not installed and comes up with:
Update code 643 Windows has encountered an unknown error.
I tried to manually install Service Pack 2 on the microsoft site as suggested in a convenience store for the errors that occur during updates, but this does not appear to have solved the problem.
You can provide any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Step #1 => foremost, note what version of .NET Framework is installed:
How to determine what version of the .NET Framework is installed and determine whether the service packs have been applied
http://msdn.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/kb00318785.aspxStep #2-online now see resolution method 2 in this related KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923100
After running the cleaning of .NET Framework (not the Windows Installer Cleanup utility) tool, reinstall all the versions of the .NET Framework (but the ones you noted in #1 above) manually using the download links on the page, and then run Windows Update manually install security updates for same.
NB: If you remove the .NET Framework 3.5 (SP1) by using the tool, reinstall .NET Framework 3.5 will also install .net Framework 2.0 SP2 and 3.0 SP2. Then, Windows Update will offer .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.
IMPORTANT! =>, If you remove the .NET Framework 3.5 (SP1), reinstall your version of .NET Framework in the following order:
1. the .net framework 3.5, then...
2 .net framework 1.1, then...
3 .net framework 1.1 SP1NB: KB923100 makes reference to this page: http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2006/05/30/611355.aspx. Please read ALL as well as the related http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/pages/8904493.aspx before using the .NET Framework cleanup tool.
Step #3 => Check-in at Windows Update and install the critical updates of security offered.
