Coding + sign in the search by keyword

I'm trying to figure out how I can use a + sign when you use a keyword search.

Let's say I have the installation of google as a search by keyword at google.com

Google 2 + 2-> http://www.google.com/search?hl=en & source = hp & biw = & bih = & q = 2 + 2 (so 2 of 2)

OK, I'll encode the +. Google 2% 2B2-> http://www.google.com/search?hl=en & source = hp & biw = & bih = & q = 2% 252 b 2

So I'm puzzled... How can I get the + to work the keyword search?

It should work: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en & source = hp & biw = & bih = & q = 2% b 2 2

Make sure that you are using %s

  • The search for keywords in Adobe Bridge

I have a few questions about the bridge and keywords.

I was put keywords on a large amount of images on our server in the hope that others can easily find these images. There are about 30 files inside a folder root and within these folders, files more...

Unfortunately, when I try to search for key words in the next day or from another computer, no image appears. I tried the search bar as long as Edit > Find... and by searching for "Key words" criteria (I have the checkbox "Include all subfolders" checked).

When I go to a specific image, keywords are there, even when the results of my research do say no images found.

    My questions would be:

I am able to search for keywords on a server (from any computer with access to the server)?

How can I search for keywords attached to the images that are buried in the 2-3 files?

    Any help is appreciated!

    Hi Kim,

Could you please confirm if you use bridge or bridge CC 2015 CC.

On the local disk there is no problem if the images are buried under files.

External drive or network drives there may be latency/performance issues, but you should be able to search for images using keywords ideally.

    Kind regards

  • Images not appearing is not in the search by keyword in Bridge CS6

I am using Bridge CS6, falling into persistent galleries of pictures (JPEG) and tagging them with keywords. When the time comes to do a search, a couple of these images are are ignored in the results. Other images with the same keywords are returned, but not these a few offenders.

I tried to reset the bridge and purge central Cache.

No idea why some files would be invisible to the search function?

Well, after a reboot, purge central cache several times and reset bridge several times, I did apparently something in the right order and the problem is solved

Looks like it was a bad file cache or preference.

Thanks for all the suggestions, especially in regards to the caches purge!

  • the search for keywords

    Hello world

I have to start this thread stating that I'm a recent user of lightroom 2.7 and my evolution over 3-4 months was tremdous! I always set my workflow / systems, so I need your response to realize that my skill level is Basic.

I'm starting to try to use keywords, it seems that I am understand how to add keywords and am able to accomplish this task. So, it seems that this process is completed! However, when I try to search for keywords, LR 2.7 tells me that no no corresponding item in the collection/folders selected. OK, I understand what he said, but how the search to include the file on an external hard drive containing ALL my photos? This folder is the only place where I have pictures and place associated with LR.

  • New to Lightroom. The search for keyword spelling work around...

I just installed Lightroom and two keywording problems after importing the largest of my photos (almost 14 000 files) files.

I was keywording in Bridge and found it much easier to type in the words. Used iView in the past, so don't worry much about spelling. iView show me different spellings used for a Word and I could choose the pictures, correct spelling and spelling errors has been corrected in the metadata of photos.

    1. in Lightroom, I select the pictures/photos with misspelled words, correct that the word and Lightroom will not accept the change, because there is already a keyword of the same name. If I delete the misspelled keywords (I guess I can?) then I have no idea how to find these photos and add the correct keyword.

Just by writing this, I thought to put the words misspelled in a collection and then when the misspelled word is deleted, I still have pictures. I could drag the exact keyword for them. What is the best way to go? (I have not tried the collection function again).

2 another problem frustrating: I do not use hierarchical keywording and Lightroom pulled my keywords in the hierarchical Keywords system. Now I have 'Place', 'People', etc that clutter my field. Is there a way to tell Lightroom I want to use the hierarchical system? Is there (please please please) a pretty quick way to get rid of all words as place and people I am not there? If there is a preference I'd before importing, I prefer to make a new catalog and re import rather than trying to find all the high fields to the page to remove.

    Element of reference 1.

In the library - the grid view Module

Go to the keyword list Panel

Select a misspelled word, and then click the arrow to the right of the keyword.

    Select all

Click the checkbox to the left of the CORRECTLY spelled keyword to apply the correct spelling.

Clear the check box to the left of the keyword spelled

    Delete the misspelled word.

Files should only have the correctly spelt version

    Reference element 2

Lightroom does not use a hierarchical strategy, unless you say so. If your images are as (from bridge, for example) with a hierarchy, it will be replicated. A keyword that is automatically set to receive the child keywords will have a little asterisk following the keyword. If you have one of these you can get rid of it by right click and uncheck "put new keywords inside this keyword.

Before you delete keywords at a higher level, you want to make sure that you moved all the keywords lower level out of them. If you delete keywords at a higher level, he will kill the keywords of the child inside.  Keywords can be slid in or out of a hierarchy by dragging.

  • URL bar do not use keyword.url to search, rather than use any engine is active in the search bar.

Earlier, when I used to get a few words into the address bar and press ENTER, firefox would use the innovation of google by searching for the name and redirect to what I want. For example if I wrote fb, it took me to facebook, and if I wrote something ambiguous it would open a google search for the query.
Recenly, it's somehow changed. I keyword.enabled set to true and the keyword.url is http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8 & oe = UTF - 8 & sourceid = navclient & gfns = 1 & q = but when I enter something in the address bar, it uses the active engine in the search box. If I have active wikipedia in the search box and I type in google in the address bar, it takes me to the page from wikipedia to google.

You can also try to use http://ready.to/search/en/ to create your own custom search engine...

  • When I try to change the settings for keyword.url in topic: config to make one "I'm Felling Lucky" Google search, it just resets to chrome://browser-region/locale/region.properties whenever I restart Firefox.

I just installed Firefox 4 today. When I try to change the settings for keyword.url in topic: config to make one "I'm Felling Lucky" Google search, it just resets to chrome://browser-region/locale/region.properties whenever I restart Firefox.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the Add-ons is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

    • Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.

  • What search engine keywords (in the search engines Manager)?

I use several search engines and would like to be able to change the active engine without having to open the menu and click on the one I want. Is this possible? I guess that's what for the 'Keyword' field in the Manager. I have assigned keywords, but don't know how to use.

The keywords you assign via 'Edit the keyword' in the search engines Manager work as quick searches via the address bar.

They work the same as when you create a bookmark and give a keyword.

See above posted the link on how the keyword search work.

These keywords are stored in search.sqlite in the Firefox profile folder

  • What is the search syntax of files in Windows 7 (wildcards, logical signs...)? __

    Hello

I'm looking for it everywhere, but I can't.
When in Windows search and looking for a file, you can type in *.txt to find a ".txt" file
But the filename syntax to search for seems to be more complex that it first consults.
For example, the quotation mark ("") character and the equal sign (=) seem to have their own meaning.
And I think that I heard that it was possible to use 'not' and 'and' signs.
Please, where can I find the full syntax of the search paterns?

    Thank you very much

  • Adding keywords to a subject causes the search return the names of file instead of topic titles

When I search for a term in my WebHelp Pro project, matching topics are displayed by filename if the subject has anything in its properties > General > keywords field, and are presented by topic title if there is no defined keywords for the subject.

I confirmed this behavior by adding and deleting keywords from subjects and looking alternately to be shown in the search by file name or title of the topic.

Obviously, I want stories to be displayed by topic titles in search results no matter whether they have keywords assigned or not.

Any idea of what this could be the cause? Is this a known bug?

Here is some additional information. This problem occurs, these four conditions must be met:

    1. The subject must have manually added keywords in properties > general > keywords field.
    2. The title of the topic and the name of the file must be different.
    3. We have to search among keywords added in step 1.
    4. Occurs in WebHelp Pro when published to a remote server.

Interviews with Adobe today are not conclusive, but it seems that it was an unknown bug. Maybe I'll get a free t-shirt or something.

    Hi Rocky,

    Journal on Robohelp Configuration Manager.

Uncheck the option "re-indexing of documents to the server.

Republish and check. If the problem exists, try to restart the Apache/Tomcat server.

    This should work for you.

Michael, you can only manage layouts of search results for 'Targeted' and not 'Keyword' search

  • How to create a search field to search for keywords in the XML through AS3 file?

    Hello world.

I am trying to create a field of research in AS3 to search for keywords in a dynamic text field of the same flash movie, where the text is loaded from an XML file.

Look in the String class and its methods, specifically the indexOf() (to find) and substr() (of extraction) methods.

  • Change the "Search" tab to enable a digital representation after keyword?

    Hello

Attachments, I've included would best describe what I'm trying to accomplish.  I use Robohelp HTML v7.  In section content I am trying to build the Search tab with a digital representation after the keywords (which refers to the occurrence of a Word) and alphabetical labels at the top of the "Search" tab.  The attachment "Search Tab Advanced.jpg" represents what I'm trying to do and the attachment "Search Tab General.jpg" represents what I currently have now.

Your desired output looks like pure HTML option - instead of individual searches, the user sees something like an index of all search keywords.

It is easy to obtain - in the single source formatting Wizard that allows you to generate WebHelp, select the "Pure HTML" option instead of an option with DHTML or Javascript. (I have no RH7 - don't remember if it's on the window of the wizard of second or third.)

Try to generate this way and see if it will meet your needs.

Yes, it could be the problem. the non-ASCII characters, semicolon (;), double quote (' '), single quote ('), circumflex (^) and backslash (\). is not supported by the SSO passwords.
