ColdFusion 11 goes mode sleep after a period of inactivity?
I just installed CF11 on my cloud Server (running Windows Server 2008 R2) to a cart shopping using SQL Express Edition application in the backend. After a period of inactivity, especially every morning, when I go into my app, it clocks for subject a minute then - error. Finally, after another chance, I'm able to run my application but it is slow for another couple clicks, then it is back to normal.
I've been running this app on an older version of CF for almost ten years (I just upgraded to CF11 last month) and this problem never happened during this period. Can you give us advice on how I can solve this problem?

Satellite P10 automatically goes to sleep after 15 minutes
My Satellite P10 automatically goes to sleep after 15 minutes. This is a setting that is controlled by Toshiba or the Console of Toshiba power management settings.
When I change the settings it the system will always standby after 15 minutes. When I go into Control Panel control/Performance and Maintenance/Power Options, it tells me to go to the Toshiba power management to change the settings, but I still see the parameters in grey indicating the standby time of 15 minutes.
But in the Toshiba power management, I can't seem to be able to adjust the sleep settings, so that they work effectively. There must be something for her...
Can someone help me understand?
Thank you very much
LerakHello
The fact is that if Toshiba energy saving is installed on the laptop Toshiba, the Microsoft OS power management doesn't work. You must use the Toshiba power saver to change settings.
In power save you will find different modes.
If the power supply is on if you need to change the power mode in the power section. Here, you simply mark the mode full power and click for details.
You can now find mode properties. Select the Power Saver tab.
You will find various controls that are responsible for different functions. Change the settings on the standby system controller. -
How can I make the computer sleep after 5 minutes of inactivity on the logon screen?
Original title: How to sleep in the login screen?
How can I make the computer sleep after 5 minutes of inactivity on the logon screen? Currently, on the login screen, white screen, but the computer is still running. Sleeping would save a lot of energy because the computer is used most of the time.
Hi Phil.Ganchev,Using a laptop or a desktop computer? The reason for this question is, if you have a plugged AC adapter you must set power accordingly as opposed to laptop settings battery operated.I suggest you head over to the power settings and create your own power management.a. power by clicking on the Start button, open the Options click on the Control Panel, clicking system and security, and then clicking Power Options.
(b) according to the plan you want to change, click on change plan settings.
c. on the parameters of change in the plan page, choose "Put the computer to sleep" that you want to use when your computer is running on battery (if applicable) and when it is plugged.(Change in 5 minutes for the batteries and sector)Reference:Power plans: frequently asked questions

Will computer auto power off after a period of inactivity has stopped working
My computer is used to turn off automatically after a period of inactivity (not sure how long). There is more to this. No one knows how to do start again do?
Right-click on the desktop, choose personalize. There, click on the screen saver option. There, select power management. Check the settings of your plan and make sure that they are configured correctly.
If you select never physically start > shut down option, then the system is only to enter in Hibernaton and no closure.

Windows 8 Pro will sleep after 60 seconds of inactivity
I just upgraded via a clean install of Windows 8 Pro. Now, the computer to standby / sleep after 60 seconds of inactivity. Interestingly, this problem occurs only once the machine has already gone to sleep once in this feeding cycle. In other words, if I start from a cold, start the machine will follow the diet plan appropriate (screensaver after 10 minutes, sleep after 2 hours) until what he went to sleep once, after which it will go to sleep every 60 seconds of inactivity.
The system event log indicates "42 Kernel Power event: the system between sleep.". Reason to sleep: System Idle. "But it does after one minute of inactivity.I have reset all electrical energy plans, I created my own power management. Hybrid sleep is turned off. I have run the checker (sfc/scannow) system files and I've searched the forums largely unanswered. It is a customized desktop machine never had this problem on Windows 7, this is a new behavior for windows 8.So, after a lot of digging and try a lot of things, the solution below worked for me. But if someone can verify it worked for them, that would be great:
It seems that maybe Windows to view the return of sleep as a remote activation which apparently expires to slow more quickly than the other wake ups. To change this feature, delete the following registry key: (perhaps using the power button to go back to sleep as suggested would be a work-around?)HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\238C9FA8-0AAD-41ED-83F4-97BE242C8F20\7bc4a2f9-d8fc-4469-B07B-33eb785aaca0\DefaultPowerSchemeValuesTo do this, Win Key + R (displays the run menu), and then type "regedit.exe" and navigate to the location of the key above. For more security, you need to save (export) this key before you delete it.Alternatively, you can change each of the secondary keys instead of remove them. Each corresponds to one of the power management. If you choose ACSettings you choose a behavior for when the machine is connected, the DCSettings are for the battery power. If you change the key switch 'decimal' value is in seconds and can be changed to any value you choose. Please see this post for more information: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/da-DK/w7itprogeneral/thread/6909b30f-f71d-4dc6-9c42-12db1d38944f -
How to stop a virtual machine to automatically close after a period of inactivity
I have a VM 2012 server acting as a domain controller in a test environment. I do not work on it a lot, but he must run as I work on test VMs (W7 and W8).
The problem is after a period of inactivity, the server vm stop all services and stops. I did some research and found some vague allusions to a script that can be changed in vmware tools, but I am not able to start a GUI tools to look at again. I have re-installed the tools, but still cannot open any type of interface to work with the tools, and I don't even know if this is the right place to resolve this problem.
Also has anyone seen this problem?
What is a facility properly licensed and activated Windows Server 2012?

cancel the deployment or suspend VMs after a period of inactivity?
In Lab Manager 4.0, is it possible to cancel the deployment or suspend the VMs after a period of inactivity? For example, if I want to have the VMS undeploy or suspend it after a user has not used for an hour or two?
Thank you.
is the closest you will get to this is a lease of deployment:
The duration of a configuration or a VM template is deployed before Lab Manager is supposed to he cancel the deployment.
This is because Lab Manager is not on 'activity or inactivity' as far as I remember, just how long he was out on an ESX host to.
Kind regards

I recently updated my laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 10. The upgrade went smooth and everything seems to work fine except for one annoying problem. After approx. 2 min of inactivity my post laptop goes into sleep mode and disconnects me. I checked all my power settings settings settings/sleep/screen saver... etc and I finished all updates to windows. I do not see all timers anywhere that requires an adjustment. Any help would be appreciated.
Note: The laptop wakes up fine with no problems.
For those who are interested. I found the solution by activating the 'system unattended Sleep Timeout' and then by changing this day here. The timer seems to have a pre-selection of 2 min for some reason any that was causing the problem together.

Portege Z10t - A PT132A goes to sleep after 60 seconds of noninteraction
Portege Z10t-A PT132A-00F00T
My Tablet continues to go to sleep after about 60 seconds of noninteraction.
I can watch youtube, read, listen to music... etc and after about 60 seconds of me not to touch the display turns on outside and all the audio and video stop.
As soon as I touch the screen it wakes up again.I was in the power options and retouched for the power supply and battery.
I put Sun/Eve forever to the two options as a test, but still it does.I missed a place where it is defined elsewhere?
Very annoyingThank you

Hello
Is it in laptop mode when Toshiba keyboard Dock is fixed or in tablet mode only?
Is it if the adapter is connected or only when the adapter is removed? The computer will automatically mode 'sleep' according to the sin of setting power options. To access this click
Office-> Office help-> Control Panel-> system and security-> power options options
(or Win key + X-> power options)Here you should find the option called display auto power OFF
This feature automatically cuts off the power to the screen when there is no input of keyboard for a whileYou can also see the hybrid sleep feature that appears also in Power Options.
In addition, I recommend check you the settings of Intel Display Power Saving technology.
This feature is enabled by default and controls the current consumption b< optimizing="" the="" picture="" contrast="" and="" internal="" lcd.="" this="" can="" be="" used="" if="" notebook="" is="" running="" in="" battery="" mode="" and="" using="" the="" internal="" lcd="" display="">To access this feature, he must right click on the desktop, and then click graphics properties
-> Select battery from the drop-down list in the power source, and then click Power.
Then, clear the checkbox display energy saving technology and lick OK. -

PC goes mode sleep when the Power Options are set for ever, etc. also can not wake up
Hi, I read the other posts on this topic, but my problem seems a little different.
I am running Windows 7 on a Dell desktop computer and I tried to run chkdsk and also the Dell diagnostics that I have some problems hard drive; However, it gets so far and the pc goes into mode 'sleep' causing me even worse problems that chkdsk/diagnoses are halfway through a volume. The pc has done this on and off tension for awhile, but hopefully not when something critical is running, even if it is a nuisance. I did all the steps recommended here as ensure my Power Options are set, etc., but he always does.
In addition, when the pc goes to sleep, I can't wake him up by pressing the power button or any key on the keyboard.
I've been in contact with Dell and they said that it's a software problem.
Someone can suggest something else I can do (stop) the computer mode 'sleep' and also how to wake him.
Thank you.

My Satellite goes mode sleep all by making a backup copy
Is it possible to stop the Lap Top switch mode 'sleep', while I am performing a Back-up.
The backup stops until I wake up the screen again.
Check the settings of the energy plan for the management of the power supply you use. You will find option put the computer to sleep. Set this option forever and I hope that the problem will be solved.
Please post comments.

HP 2009v: monitor going to sleep after connecting to a new PC
My parents have an old pc (HP Pavilion g3770l) that runs on windows XP and a relatively old monitor (HP 2009v). They work perfectly fine, but since his Win XP in most applications no longer work and is not fast enough to support new BONE. So I bought a new PC (HP 8200 Elite SFF) with win 7 pro 64-bit installed.
But when I plug in the monitor to the new PC, I get the message "monitor going to sleep" and the monitor turns off. PC turns. (I can hear the windows startup sound etc.). I tried the menu on the screen to change settings etc but it does not allow me to do. It just goes to sleep.
Combination of old monitor old pc still works.
Please help it was supposed to be a Christmas gift.
This unit may have many configurations, but is it possible that there is more to a port monitor (video output) and that the monitor is connected to happens to be inactive? This can happen if the camera has built-in graphics card and also a video card is installed.

I installed the HP4620 wireless printer, now OSX you waking up from his sleep after about 15 minutes, it didn't happen until I installed the HP4620. So I opened a terminal and did a search for why the printer wakes up, the result was:
Wake up the reason: GLAN HDEF EHC2
I couldn't find any information about it, so I turned off and unplugged the printer, then turn on the computer sleep (which "now takes about a minute to sleep), now OSX wakes up after 45 minutes. So with the printer off and it's wake up yet, I think it must be something to do with the HP software installed?
Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions to correct sleep would be appreciated.
Thank you
Thanks for the reply but reset the SMC did not work, I have reinstaled 10.8.3 OSX then the printer and sleep works again. Forgot to mention, I am running a Hackintosh on a Gigabyte H77N-wifi Board but never had any problems with sleep or HP printers, it not was not up to what I have installed the HP4620 sleep has become is down with insomnia.
