collage templates

I want to do a simple six elements 12 photo collage with images in rectangular blocks of the same size.  How can I get the pattern?

I think you need to do your own model. It requires a little work, but you can adapt it to your taste.

To do this, first the calculation to make 6 blocks will fit your paper stock.

Then proceed as follows:

  1. Open a blank, new file with the dimensions of your paper stock, resolution 240 px / in
  2. Place the Rectangle tool. On the tool options bar select Mode: fixed size, h & W according to your calculation
  3. Open an empty layer above the layer created in step #1
  4. Use the Rectangle tool to describe the first box, then go to Edition > fill selection with content: 50% gray
  5. Use move tool to the position of the first area
  6. Duplicate this layer and use the move tool to position the 2nd box
  7. Duplicate this layer and the position, and so on until you have the 6 boxes. In my example, I have two lines with 3 boxes.
  8. Press CTRL + left click on the 3 layers that make up a line in order to make it active. The move tool has an icon of layer selected to align on the options bar. This will allow you to align vertical centres.
  9. Repeat for the other 3 boxes.
  10. Now you have the model!
  11. Select the layer with the first box, click file > place and resize with the corner of the frame handles encompassing point to your picture A file
  12. Repeat for 5 other photos boxes.and, B, C, D, E, F

You can dress this - here I added a white line to each photo

  • Turn the slices in layers or collage perfect plugin?

I encounter this problem when I try to make a photo montage. I generate the collage with the Picasa 3 to find that it cannot export layered psd file but a flat jpg file. (Photoshop picture package tool can meet the many features I want such as images of culture with regard to the framework, although it may put each images in separate layers). So I want to slice the collage of the monolayer of Picasa in layers separated with their unchanged positions.

A solution on the web suggests that just the slice of output in the jpg into slices (Native function in photoshop) files and load them in Bridge to collect them in photoshop layers. However, it is meaningless. The slices charged may retain the original places where they are in the collage. Together, they are stacked in the corner.

Slice tool can cut images into sections separated with great ease. Is it possible to turn the slices in layers at the same time keep the positions of each slice?

Also, I tried Photo collage maker(A flat jpg too) /Shape Collage (psd export availiable but no collage feature grid)... It seems that all collage software do not support the psd export. The Photomix can export psd, but it's a flat absurd psd!

UH... How about you, any recommendation of collage software/plugin/script that can genarete layered collage? Otherwise I can only cut the flat jpgs.

  • Sizing of the images of several resolutions to print on a page of a resolution

Maybe it's a basic question of Photoshop that betrays my lack of experience with the digital workspace, but I would like to know how to draw multiple images of different resolutions on a 300 ppi page, intended to be printed.

    I have three images: a 300 ppi, 3 x 4 inches, another is 4 x 5 inch, 900 DPI and a third is 4 x 5 inches, 600 dpi.

I created a single page that is 300 ppi, 8 x 10 inches. My images will be adapted according to the physical size. But when I drop my 600 dpi and ppi 900 images in this page, they explode at twice and three times the space, spoiling my efforts to put them. Similarly, if I cut the ppi on images greater than 300 DPI, they explode as well.

The only possible option I think that might work is automatic Resample/bicubic. But wouldn't that reduce the quality of the image?

    Thank you!

An image file is a single file, no matter how many layers and images and sizes of pictures in there is that a single resolution than one resolution that all layers and images have the same resolution, the current resolution set in the document or the file setting.

You can process the image file and save the files that have different resolution and different image of an open image size.  You would set something like that using the Image Processor Pro Script Photoshop plug-in that is available free on the Web.

A printed page can have multiple images of different sizes to this topic but all images on the page have the same pixel resolution. They're just a different number of pixels. Larger images are more pixels then small images on the page.

It's easy to make a layout.  Do your layout and size of your images for your page layout.

  • Print page layout and printing with photo shop

Hi, I'm looking for advice as to weather or not the photo shop can do what I need? I'll try to find a print page set up where I can choose an image and resize it to lets say 50 cm x 50 cm, that measure 75cm of white space, blank media and a logo. Reason being that I try to print cushion covers where I need image on the front and logo on the back. but I need to be able to measure the space inbetween ect and measure the whole layout, so I can't print. cut. then stitch it. Can someone tell me or help me, if they think that this is possible. Only, I'm new to photoshop so any help is very appreciated.

Sounds like a good candidate for a Collage and some automation model. Your Logo would be and top layer which is on top of the location of the image. As a shield of fireman in the demo video.

When you use the file menu > Script > name of the Script, the script can get the current active document name can get a list of opened documents and process in any order it is programmed for. His logic a bit more, but it would be possible. However, most Photoshop user do not have the skill of programming required to write a script. They have others write just the user scripts.

You can't find a script programmed to treat the open document in Photoshop in the desired order.   You may need to open in a particular order for them to be processed in a particular order.

When I want to than a collage with pictures special including locations automatically filled.  I know that the order a collage image location model will be filled because I create the model and the name of the alpha channel mapping in Image 1, Image 2 order... Image N where N can be any number from 1 to 53 can be ignored. And I know that the the stacking order of the images and the location of the image so I know how to the run-in of the images will be displayed.   Collage templates can only be filled with a single folder automatically by my scripts of collage and the files are processed in the sort order, so I name the files in a way.  I use a prefix followed a sequence number #. Scripts to strip the prefix and have an option for the rest of the name of the file of stamps less extension in one of nine locations on the populated images.  If the scripts can be programmed so that you know how thing is treated.  I also have interactive collage populating the script that places the image from accessible.for site images are fill in interactive order, user can select any image file. The script will then place resize and position the Ant image the the user is given the opportunity to refine the placement add modify the composition of the rotation and scale so the image.  Possibly the name of the file will be stamped and the user has the opportunity to weak text and location.

    Scripts Photoshop is powerful.

  • Is it possible to merge images of 4 different files into a single image of 4 x 4 with ps scripting?

I have therefore four files that each contain 970 images.   The pictures in the folder 1 are exactly the same as the images in the folder 2, 3 and 4.   All images are also in size 400px.   What I'm trying to do is to take images of the same name of each of the 4 files and put them into a single image of 800 x 800, then they are arranged in a 4 x 4 mode.

Example: Each folder has an image named mastiff1.psd.  Images of four mastiff are different, but have the same name and have the same size.  I wish that all the images of four mastiff to be combined into a single image to double size who has all four images mastiff on it and save it as mastiff1 - 4 x 4.

Is that something this photoshop script could do?  I'm a newb to this.  I used actions much, but never a script.

For the script, you need to know a programming language JavaScript script that works on both platforms of Photoshop or AppleScript which will be only the Apple Mac machines, VSbasic or that will run only on windows.  You should also know how Photoshop and know how to use Photoshop well.

There are some things that cannot be scripted to DOM Adobe doesn't have the methods of the interfaces for all of the functionality of Photoshop.  However, there is a plug-in with Adobe name Scriptlistener witch is as a recorder of script that you do in Photoshop that can be recorded in actions is recorded in two papers on the desktop you when the Scriptlistener plugin is installed is in the JavaScript syntax in VSbasic.   As Actions there is no logic just hard coded step, step, step...  The code uses the Operations Manager to do the function of Photoshop.  If the things that cannot be scripted using Adobe DOM can be scripted by using the action handler code produced by the Scriptlistener plug-in and hard-coded steps can be changes in javascript functions that use variables.

According to me, what do you think would be a real ambitious first Photoshop script.  Adobe script documentation, the example script and Scriptlistener are not part of the standard installation. You need to download these from Adobe. Adobe Photoshop scripts. Adobe Developer Connection.

I don't really know javascript, but I can hack it. Did some scripts in the document layout.  Most require a PSD template but PasteImageRoll does not work, but any Image must be in the same folder.  Most of my automated script require any image to be in the same folder.  However, two of my scripts are interactive.  You can select each image available from anywhere.  Images will be automatically resized and positioned to which you can then edit.

I'm not the best eaten encoder, you can always look at the code I came with.

  • Dynamic object in model: save each layer as a png.

I know someone must have asked this before, however, I do not know how it the stage perfectly. I have provided a lot of images to help me pass on what I want, and I hope this helps. I do a lot of models for the smart phones and other. Most of the time, when I present my work, my employer wants to see "in the device.

I have a model of a phone (I got an iphone just for the sake of models), and I load all my models in the dynamic object that makes up the screen of the phone in the model. However, the savings on each model can become very time consuming. Y at - it a script there, which will save on each screen once I added all my content to the dynamic object? (In my example, the result would be 3 pngs on the phone with one of the 3 screens)

    Thank you!

    Screen__0000_1.png

    Screen__0001_2.png

    Screen__0002_3.png

    Screen__0003_4.png

This is a straight on the view without distortion of perspective need as an example of the iPhone.  It would be a nod to make a Photo Collage Template PSD with a batch script.  The model could be as simple as a background image for your straight shot iPhone and an alpha channel cards on the screen of the iPhone. For example, BatchOneImageCollage.jsx, however, that script would save a set of PSD files would contain a background layer. If you want a set of files the model would need two layers at plain white background layer a layer above it a cutout of your iPhone with the screen also cut a lack. and the alpha channel of the mapping.  The PSD file would be the need to deal with the Image Processor Pro script backup PNG to PSD and include an action which removes the background layer or turns off its visibility.

Four models of rules must follow:

    1. Models of photo collage for the desired print size - width and height of the size and DPI print resolution.
    2. Photo collage templates must have a background layer in Photoshop. The content of this layer can be anything.
    3. Photo collage templates must have alpha channels named "Picture 1", "Picture 2"... "Picture n".
    4. Photo collage templates layers above the background layers must provide transparent areas to reveal the images which will be placed below them.
