Sizing of the images of several resolutions to print on a page of a resolution

Maybe it's a basic question of Photoshop that betrays my lack of experience with the digital workspace, but I would like to know how to draw multiple images of different resolutions on a 300 ppi page, intended to be printed.

I have three images: a 300 ppi, 3 x 4 inches, another is 4 x 5 inch, 900 DPI and a third is 4 x 5 inches, 600 dpi.

I created a single page that is 300 ppi, 8 x 10 inches. My images will be adapted according to the physical size. But when I drop my 600 dpi and ppi 900 images in this page, they explode at twice and three times the space, spoiling my efforts to put them. Similarly, if I cut the ppi on images greater than 300 DPI, they explode as well.

The only possible option I think that might work is automatic Resample/bicubic. But wouldn't that reduce the quality of the image?

Thank you!

An image file is a single file, no matter how many layers and images and sizes of pictures in there is that a single resolution than one resolution that all layers and images have the same resolution, the current resolution set in the document or the file setting.

You can process the image file and save the files that have different resolution and different image of an open image size.  You would set something like that using the Image Processor Pro Script Photoshop plug-in that is available free on the Web.

A printed page can have multiple images of different sizes to this topic but all images on the page have the same pixel resolution. They're just a different number of pixels. Larger images are more pixels then small images on the page.

It's easy to make a layout.  Do your layout and size of your images for your page layout.

Photo Collage Toolkit

Scripts for Photoshop is powerful and I think that this package demonstrates this a video showing a collage of 5 model PSD image fills with images:

The package includes four simple rules to follow to make Photo Collage Template PSD files so they will be compatible with my Photoshop scripts.

  1. Models of photo collage for the desired print size - width and height of the size and DPI print resolution.
  2. Photo collage templates must have a background layer in Photoshop. The content of this layer can be anything.
  3. Photo collage templates must have alpha channels named "Picture 1", "Picture 2"... "Picture n".
  4. Photo collage templates layers above the background layers must provide transparent areas to reveal the images which will be placed below them.

There are fifteen scripts in this package, they provide the following functions:

  1. HelpPhotoCollageToolkit.jsx - online help
  2. TestCollageTemplate.jsx - used to test a model of Collage of Photo while you're doing it with Photoshop.
  3. CollageTemplateBuilder.jsx - can build models that are compatible with this toolkit scripts.
  4. LayerToAlphaChan.jsx - used to convert a stack of the Prototype Image layers in a document template.
  5. InteractivePopulateCollage.jsx - used to fill interactively model Any Photo Collage. Offers more user control insert images and text.
  6. ReplaceCollageImage.jsx - allows to replace an object layer dynamic image collage populated with another image resized and positioned correctly.
  7. ChangeTextSize.jsx - this script can be used to change the size of text Image stamps when the size used by the filling did not work well.
  8. PopulateCollageTemplate.jsx - used to fill a Photo Collage template and leave the populated copy automatically opened in Photoshop.
  9. BatchOneImageCollage.jsx - used for the models automatically batch fill Collage that have only a single image inserted. The Collage or picture may be stamped with the text.
  10. BatchMultiImageCollage.jsx - used to model automatically batch fill any Photo Collage with images in an image source folder. Easier to use than the interactive script. Recorded collages can be twisted.
  11. PasteImageRoll.jsx - paste Images into a document to print on roll paper.
  12. BatchPicturePackage.jsx - used to model automatically batch fill any Photo Collage with an image in the image source folder.  Rotation of images for a better fit.
  13. BatchPicturePackageNoRotate.jsx - used to model automatically batch fill any Photo Collage with an image in the image source folder.
  14. PopulatePicturePackage.jsx - used to fill a Photo Collage fill with the same single image model and leave the populated copy automatically opened in Photoshop.
  15. PCTpreferences.jsx - edit this file to customize Collage fill preset scripts and add your own layer styles.

    Hello mac173173,

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft answers community.

In addition to the these suggestions, you can also go into Desktop Backgrounds under each theme and make a copy of the images you want to set up, and then select the images for the Undertow.

-Right click Desktop > click Customize
-Click on desktop background > right click on each image you want to save > select make a copy (place the copy in a folder in your library of images that you want to use)

Repeat for each image throughout each theme. The select images to include in the background slide show.

  • How to automatically size the images at screen resolution?

    Hello

I need a little help, automatically reducing image resolution of viewers.

I did it with a table and it works fine:

    < table width = "100%" border = "0" >

    < b >

    < td align = "center" bgcolor = "#66CCFF" > < h1 style = "do-size: 30px;" text-align: center; "> < em > Table Title < /em > < / h1 > < table >

    < /tr >

    < /table >

But I have no idea how do to the image.

When I use the normal display mode the picture looks fine, but when I go into mobile view it sticks out of the page, while the table has a proper resolution.

    How can I fix it?

Do not use table layouts.  They are completely ill-suited to modern web design and in particular, responsive web design.

Use CSS layouts with widths of division in %.

    Example:

    CSS code:

    Body {width: 100% ;}}

    IMG {max-width: 100 %}}

    HTML code:

    http://placehold.it/500x350">

Preview in browser & resize your window to see what is happening in the image.

  • Increase the physical dimensions of the image in high resolution?

I have an image I want to use in a video, if it is not physically large enough to fill the dimensions of 1920 x 1080 video, she has a resolution of 300ppi and video needs only 72 dpi. How to take advantage of the fact that it's an image high definition and increase the physical dimensions of the image? Is there a way to do this?

    Thank you.

If you are told that you should print at 4 inches by 6 inches at 300 dpi, follow these steps:

    • Choose Image - Image size.
    • Check the box resampling .
    • In the resolution box, type 300 .
    • Put 4 to 6 inches in the height and Width boxes (or vice versa if it's a bitmap portrait).

You will find yourself with an image 1200 x 1800 pixels that will be printed at 4 by 6 inches, your goal of printing at 300 ppi.

Printing will be probably not as sharp and detailed as if you had printed at 4 by 6 inches without downsampling at 300 ppi.

You will do well to try to begin to understand how the images are expressed in pixels, and why the above is true, while in the future, you will know when the issue of the requirements.  This thread you might also like:

  • How to change the behavior of the 'Sizing of the Image' Module export

As part of the export process, I want to resize an image to a fixed size, for example, 5400 x 3600. Should be scaling the iamge symmetrically and thus some fill with black or white may be necessary.

I know I can do this as an action "post-processing", but then I need to re-do sharpen, attribution of profile of color etc.

So is it possible in the SDK to "replace" the "Image Sizing" Module with one of my own to do?

  • Correct sizing of the image for printing

    Good day to all;

I'm a bit new to all this, so that this question may seem a bit simple.

Is there a correct way to size for printing photos. That's what I did.

My camera is set to 6 meg gives me a great original. I want to take advantage of this and print on a 4 x 6.

I bring to the top of the image, select print > click on 'media adapted size. This gives me the size of

    5.333 X 4.

I'll return to the selection of the photo: Image > Image size. Under the Document size, I enter 5.333 width. The change of height to 4

Question, I am doing this correctly

    Thank you all

    Chomp

    Use Image > Image size.

Set the resolution to 250 (for inkjet) and put in your long size in inches.

Check "Keep proportion" to avoid any distortion.

' Save as... '. "under a new name.

    Hi espritman,

I understand perfectly. When you change the type of photos, you also changed the harvest? What you can do is, change the "type" to the image, the "harvest" or not to open, paper size and then save those settings as a preset. To save a preset, click the drop down next to predefined settings, choose Save as and create the new preset.

    I hope this helps.

  • Help - sizing of the images to print

I need help because I have really problems.  When I shoot, Nikon D750 and in RAW, once I changed the images, I try to get the size of print 8 x 10, 11 x 14...  But when I go to resize them they do not hold their original appearance.  For example the picture of a car I shot, when I check the size of the image is W = 20.053 and H = 10.55.  Now I would like to print this at 8 x 10 or even 11 x 14, but when I change it to one of these dimensions, then the image is all chewed and looks like a cartoon.  I can't understand this.  What I am doing wrong?

As in your example of image, it's say to print on paper 10 x 20 or 5 x 10 so reduced.

5 x 10 will not fit paper 8 x 10 without stretching it. There is no way to this.

You use the crop tool to decide which part of the image printed on it. Cropping is the best method if you do not want to distort your image.

I do not know the parameters of your DSLR, but in the future, you can select a longer describes what you want to print, or take the photo at an angle wide enough to eliminate the surroundings without clipping of the object.

The pdf file that is in the link has other suggestions as well.

You cannot escape the proportions. The Image and the paper must be a tight fit.

On the homepage of google some buttons are there, but the text inside has disappeared, even if the buttons work, a job search online via google... I tried everything... same re install version 4.0.1.Help, I now there should be simple... but I'm not a geek! Thank you very much!

There are a few variations on the command to start the Profile Manager, see if it works better than the one you used.

Try typing firefox.exe Pei in the area run.

Make sure you have a space between exe and the dash preceding the capital P and without the quotes with this version of the command.

I have a great image I want to print to scale. For sale, he would be about 22 "x 17" or about 4 pieces 8.5 "x 11" paper. "

Photoshop can automatically print the image in segments so I can assemble each printed 8.5 "x 11" sheet together to compose the whole image?

    Thank you!

    Basic assumptions:

    • You have defined a site.
    • All files are located in the site defined (including image files)
    • All files use the.gif image file appropriate, for example, extensions
    • You've saved and uploaded all the files of the site to your server.
    • You name EXACTLY the image of the source (not stray capital letters) in the link.

If other images are link correctly and shows, remove this image and put back in place (or re-link to the image in your site structure file).

My downloaded client 2, high resolution image files which now reside in a folder he created in his library. He tried to send me these files so I can use them on the Web site that I design for him using the "share" feature However, once I got this email, there is no way to download files high resolution original. My client then gave me his account details then, if all goes well, I might get a direct access to this folder that cost him. But even connected it doesn't seem to be a way to download the file on my computer. How can I do this? It shouldn't really be that difficult to do.

Looks like you're not properly downloading image. Follow the steps described in this guide: I bought licenses for images, but no download option.
