Dynamic object in model: save each layer as a png.

I know someone must have asked this before, however, I do not know how it the stage perfectly. I have provided a lot of images to help me pass on what I want, and I hope this helps. I do a lot of models for the smart phones and other. Most of the time, when I present my work, my employer wants to see "in the device.

I have a model of a phone (I got an iphone just for the sake of models), and I load all my models in the dynamic object that makes up the screen of the phone in the model. However, the savings on each model can become very time consuming. Y at - it a script there, which will save on each screen once I added all my content to the dynamic object? (In my example, the result would be 3 pngs on the phone with one of the 3 screens)

Thank you!

This is a straight on the view without distortion of perspective need as an example of the iPhone.  It would be a nod to make a Photo Collage Template PSD with a batch script.  The model could be as simple as a background image for your straight shot iPhone and an alpha channel cards on the screen of the iPhone. For example, BatchOneImageCollage.jsx, however, that script would save a set of PSD files would contain a background layer. If you want a set of files the model would need two layers at plain white background layer a layer above it a cutout of your iPhone with the screen also cut a lack. and the alpha channel of the mapping.  The PSD file would be the need to deal with the Image Processor Pro script backup PNG to PSD and include an action which removes the background layer or turns off its visibility.

  • Photo Collage Toolkit Made updated turn to Best Fit an option in PasteImageRoll.jsx change to customize your default settings.
Scripts for Photoshop is powerful and I think that this package demonstrates this.

The package includes four simple rules to follow to make Photo Collage Template PSD files so they will be compatible with my Photoshop scripts.

Documentation and examples

There are twelve scripts in this package, they provide the following functions:

  1. TestCollageTemplate.jsx - used to test a model of Collage of Photo while you're doing it with Photoshop.
  2. CollageTemplateBuilder.jsx - can build models that are compatible with this toolkit scripts.
  3. LayerToAlphaChan.jsx - used to convert a stack of the Prototype Image layers in a document template.
  4. InteractivePopulateCollage.jsx - used to fill interactively model Any Photo Collage. Offers more user control insert images and text.
  5. ReplaceCollageImage.jsx - allows to replace an object layer dynamic image collage populated with another image resized and positioned correctly.
  6. ChangeTextSize.jsx - this script can be used to change the size of text Image stamps when the size used by the filling did not work well.
  7. PopulateCollageTemplate.jsx - used to fill a Photo Collage template and leave the populated copy automatically opened in Photoshop.
  8. BatchOneImageCollage.jsx - used for the models automatically batch fill Collage that have only a single image inserted. The Collage or picture may be stamped with the text.
  9. BatchMultiImageCollage.jsx - used to model automatically batch fill any Photo Collage with images in an image source folder. Easier to use than the interactive script. Recorded collages can be twisted.
  10. BatchPicturePackage.jsx - used to model automatically batch fill any Photo Collage with an image in the image source folder
  11. PasteImageRoll.jsx - paste Images into a document to print on roll paper.
  12. PCTpreferences.jsx - edit this file to customize Collage fill preset scripts and add your own layer styles.

Four models of rules must follow:

  1. Models of photo collage for the desired print size - width and height of the size and DPI print resolution.
  2. Photo collage templates must have a background layer in Photoshop. The content of this layer can be anything.
  3. Photo collage templates must have alpha channels named "Picture 1", "Picture 2"... "Picture n".
  4. Photo collage templates layers above the background layers must provide transparent areas to reveal the images which will be placed below them.

I create graphics, etc. in Illustrator, place them as dynamic objects in a master before displaying file Photoshop save for Web JPEG files as a slide PowerPoint background. Created in Illustrator or Photoshop, everything through this process (quality 80 or 100 with all SfW options on or off) except for the bands are blurred when they are imported (at 100%) in PowerPoint. The only way I was able to get whatever it is crisp in PowerPoint saves a Photoshop pdf file. However, it was only the text created in Photoshop. Someone has an idea on the best process to combine Photoshop and Illustrator files into a single file for import into PowerPoint as a clean and clear background? At this point, I am open to all suggestions.

PowerPoint, as with all the office applications, use print sizes images and layouts, not pixel sizes. So, your pictures are probably too small to be seen clearly in PPT. according to Microsoft, failure to PPT for images is 220ppi, so if you want them to be clear, work on the actual size (inches / cm / mm) you want the image and save it to 220ppi or higher - no use save for web. Save for web always saves out to 72 dpi.

  • Dynamic objects in the disconnected model?

Hello! I have a problem with the connection between smart objects and hope that someone can help me!
A book-mock up I bought, contains a group of "Items" - layer - base, containing several dynamic objects.

Those who are then used in different preview-layergroups (eg; before you book, inside the book, etc.)

In this way, I can import/pages cover rear cover of my book-drawings and models in dynamic objects in the items-layer group, and then they are automatically changed in various layergroups. Or that's what's supposed to happen.

However, somehow, a couple of smart objects was disconnected of the Basic smart objects, so rather than change all layers at once, I still spend several layers, one by one.
    Check the picture below

In this way the dynamic object has lost part of its use... How to fix / reconnect the smart object?

I got appriciate the feedback! Thank you!

Try this (on a working copy, so you don't break anything, as if this works also depends on how the rest of the document is built)

Click the object FLY Original layer, that you marked as a basic form of object and drag it to the new layer at the bottom of the palette icon.

This will create a copy of the child of the dynamic object on a new layer

Move this new layer of child in the same position that the layer with the broken link. Make this new layer visible and her broke the previous layer invisible by clicking on the symbols of 'the eye '.

  • Dynamic objects of poor quality in Photoshop

My apologies if this has already been answered, but I was able to find a solution. I want to add vector items saved in a creative library of clouds in a photoshop document, but when I insert smart objects they all appeared really pixelated. I used to be able to copy and paste directly from indesign, Photoshop, but the same thing is happening now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you very much

If you want to transform a smart object layer.  If the object is a vector file placed as an .ai or .svg file the object layer dynamic will be a vector smart object and turn via vector graphics that will turn all other objects using interpolation.  If the object has Photoshop vector graphic elements. You can double-click content layer icon in the layers palette. This will open a working document in Photoshop, you can resize in Photoshop using vector graphics. When you save the work file Photoshop updates the dynamic object with your object resized layer. I don't use other Adobe products you can save vector files from indesign as .svg files?  And put them in you library. So far, I have not use libraries for all I use in Photoshop in a team not environment.  I can find a use one day Adobe libraries.

I think that if the assets in a library and .svg file it would be placed in Photoshop as a vector smart object layer.

  • Add anchors to the shape of the dynamic object?

I'm trying to change a shape into a smart object, for a model of an open book. I want to use it to generate images of our book pages (page/design spreads layout).

Using the single warp and skew transformation tools are not enough. The form, I need has a pinch in the middle. I want this kind of spread:

    WWUA_Chaptrspread12x9_144dpi.jpgScreen Shot 2015-08-17 at 3.38.56 PM.png

to comply with the pages right and left (top and bottom, mounted soft on each side).

    BUT

When I create a dynamic object I can't add anchor points (can I?). Can I use rather naïve transformations. I can try a mesh of puppets (action hard to remove all small distortions of external form).

Is it possible to modify a rectangle (add/manipulate anchors), after you HAVE created a SO (in order to keep the flat rectangle of the PSB)?

I tried to add points BEFORE I created the statement of objections, but they disappeared in the main PSD after I creqated the OS.

I think I'm missing something obvious. Help, please. Makes me crazy.

    Greg

You cannot add points of anchorage, but with what you want to do, you must break your text in a separate page and convert each page separately. You could probably make a page and then make a new smart object via copy, is SO independent, then back horizontally. Then open it and put the second page of the text. Just be aware that you will need flip the text inside the SO, so it's good to read again.

  • 3D Photoshop CC - how to pack a dynamic object around a bottle

    Hello

This seems to be a frequently asked question but none of the answers I found wise (I suspect they are for older versions of Photoshop).

I have a picture of a pot and a dynamic object that is my label.

If I'm going to: > 3D > New mesh layer > Mesh preset > cylinder - then the label is wrapped around the cylinder and is really perfect - work done.

    Issues related to the:

-How do I make the cylinder transperant so I only see the label

-How to get out the window 3D so I can place my label wrapped in the photograph of the jar?

Sorry for the questions, I'm surprised, that I can't work this out (I have a previous experience with Cinema 4 d and Modo) or find instructions/YouTube videos that make sense.

Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.

    See you soon

    Ben

    Hello

Sketch for this exercise is to generate a 3D cylinder, creating illustrations to wrap around the cylinder, duplicate, and then modify this work to be used in a mapping of opacity and then reorganize the 3D on a composite element together.

Then the basic steps, I used to do this:

    (1) new 1024px x 512px, RGB doc/white background.

    (2) 3D > new mesh layer > depth map to > cylinder.

    (3) change the workspace for '3D '.

    (4) in the 3D Panel, choose the material 'Background '.

    (5) in the properties panel, select the texture of contextual opacity and choose 'Remove Texture' (you will add back to step 10).

    (6) in the properties panel, select the background Diffuse texture and 'Texture change... '. »

    (7) here's where you add the label icon you want to bend around the cylinder. I used a layer of text layer w/race style for the jar example. You will also need to scale the width down around 60% to account for the UV mapping stretched on the cylinder. (changes in the factor of scale if you use values of gray instrad of white in step 1)

    (8) when you work as you want, layer > duplicate layer to a new file.  This new file will be used for the texture of opacity that masks the area of the label you want while eliminating unwanted cylinder (ie. cut labels).

    (9) select all the pixels in the layer and edit them to white, and then on a new layer under black fill. It's your new card of the opacity. Save it in a working directory for use in the next step, and close the file. Also, save and close the file of the work of stage 6 & 7 (it is stored as a smart object in the original of the stage 1 file)

    (10) back with the original file from step 1 (with the selected 3D layer) select the material of base again in the 3D Panel. Now in the properties panel, select the texture of contextual opacity and choose "Load Texture... ». Go to the texture of opacity for step 9 and choose 'open '.

    (11) you should now see just your dress-up work of label in a cylindrical shape. You can use the tool rotation of the 3D camera to visualize the different angles.

    (12) now bring your jar for compositing image. Where is manipulating the 3D layer to align the scale and perspective can get complicated. I try to use the tools of camera 3D for this work (with the object overall scaling an exception). I also use the "Illustration" rendered preset Shaded to help visualize.

I hope this helps out. I left out the details around interaction with 3D layers, but ask questions if you get stuck.

    Kind regards

  • Dynamic object opens the blank Page

I try to go at the bottom of a strange phenomenon with text editable smart object in Photoshop. If I import text as dynamic object I can double click on this layer and it opens in Illustrator where I can edit the text, save it back and it updates in Photoshop. It is broken on some machines in our office. On OS X Leopard, this feature works perfectly. On OS X Snow Leopard it doesn't have. And it works on some machines with OS X Lion, and other is not. Anyone else a double click on a dynamic text object only to obtain a new document in Illustrator with no path and nothing on the pasteboard? CS5 Design Premium. Adobe experts, please advise.

    Puzzled, Dave

The solution for me, at least today, apparently was a result of clear font caches. We use our shop FontExplorer X Pro 3.1.1. There is some feature in the Tools menu sets for clean Application Font Caches to in Microsoft and Adobe products. I ran that and a complete system of police-cache-clear and now I can change the text of the Photoshop smart object placed in Illustrator CS5 on Snow Leopard.

  • Strange display with dynamic objects problem

I ran on a question which is kind of a killer for me at the moment because it affects such a large percentage of my current project.

I am building a sheet of sprite to hand off to developers for the iPhone, and the way I put it in place is each separate item, that I need to come back, I created a dynamic object. It seems, however, that it is question of rendering that affect almost every dynamic object I in the document.

All I can say, the lowest line of pixels of the dynamic object is taken directly underneath, and the highest row of pixels is cut off. This happens even if the content of the dynamic object are not touching the edges of the canvas.

Here is an example, the only difference between these two screenshots is that the first icon is surrounded by empty space, and in the second I added a layer to fill the background. The issue is still occurring the second shot, it happens just the background rather than the layer

You can see in the first there are two rows of pixels above and below the circle and in the second row from the top is cut off and the last row repeats.

Happening in CS4 and 5 and seems to be making every smart object in the document.

    We never seen it before?

Set up the order of processing for one of these smart objects - and ensure that it is not offset by half a pixel due to odd size or rotation.

  • Dynamic objects in CS5 behave differently than in CS4?

I just upgraded to CS4 CS5, and I noticed, what is for me, a BIG change in the way work dynamic objects.

    Imagine this simplified hypothetical scenario...

I create a new document in Illustrator, with two layers.

    On a layer would be a full 800 x 600 rectangle. On another layer, I would put a small circle of 50 x 50.

The import thing here, is that the circle could be positioned in the upper left corner with respect to the rectangle.

I would select the two objects, switch to Photoshop, create a new document to 800 x 600 and paste what I just copied in the document as a smart object.

Photoshop would treat both Illustrator layers of course, as a single smart object and they would get stuck together, and they would look exactly how they did it in Illustrator - which is the circle that is positioned in the upper left corner of the rectangle.

Now, I decide I want to hide the massive rectangle in my dynamic object, but I want to keep the circle exactly as it is now in the Photoshop document.

So I simply double-click to edit the original Illustrator file, and then I hide the layer with the rectangle on him, save the file, close it and return to Photoshop.

In CS4, the file would be updated to show the changes I had made, then the rectangle would disappear and only the circle would remain - and what is important, the circle would maintain its position. He would stay in the upper left corner of my Photoshop document (the rectangle still exists in the original Illustrator file, but the layer it's on is simply hidden).

However, when I do the same exact process in CS5, when I update the smart object after the rectangle in Illustrator layer masking, the smart object seems to ignore the rectangle that is hidden in the file, and the solitary circle remaining gets totally offbeat in the center of the file Photoshop 800 x 600. So it is now no longer in the top left corner, where it was before.

This causes me ENORMOUS problems, because I carefully positioned many many various objects in my Illustrator files which then is moved his place whenever I'm doing an adjustment!

Is it possible to get CS5 to deal with dynamic objects in the same way that CS4 done in front of him?

I heard about the Illustrator team. It seems that this behavior is the result of a change in how the framework encompassing is determined for communicating objects. I'll add a feature request for Illustrator, but in the meantime, the suggested solution is to change the opacity of the object to 0 rather than hide the object.

  • show transform controls does not not as expected with dynamic objects.

When I selected the move tool, I click the box see the transformation of the controls and it adds the controls as expected, but I can rarely actually use them.

whenever you go to turn something, she sort of "resize" the bounding box and then allows you to use the controls. its really annoying, is there something else to check that it can fix? is it me? its been like it for too many versions specific version. -is a 'feature '?

It seems to be a problem with the layers that are a dynamic object, works well with layer pixelated, but then you never want to intensify even when a layer of rasterised.

"is there a way to force the controls' see the transform ' to use the actual limit box rather than the visible pixels, or that it works as expected and just let me transform with the original handles?

'Click' to try to get the corner...

    005-click-drag-to-scale.jpg

and all of a sudden it changes layers limit real dimensions, (the size of maximum image to image dynamic objects) of the box and start to 'move' the layer,

as you clicked actually within the area enclosing, not the corner as expected.

    006-bounding-box-changes-size.jpg

Then, you have to cancel or move again, THEN use the transformation real corner as nationally.

    007-i-have-to-move-to-the-new-boundary-edge-to-transform.jpg

OK, I think I "solved this myself" only took me 2 years to stop for two minutes to try to resolve the annoying behavior! Oops...

Basically it happens when you're dealing with a layer that is a "placed picture" - another file that you drag onto your document.

I thought wrongly it was layers of dynamic object, but its elements placed, the layer icon looks the same, so I didn't notice the difference in behavior.

    so the fix is

Right-click on the layer and convert to smart object. It then behaves correctly!

  • I'm updating photoshop today and when I drag an object from illustrator to photoshop, the object doesn't turn into a dynamic object why?

Update photoshop today and when I drag an object from illustrator to photoshop object market not turning into a smart object why?

OK - think I have this sorted out now.

When you copy and paste an Illustrator file in Photoshop, you get the dialog box PASTE.

You can paste as smart object, Pixels, path and shape layer. In the past, you would select depending on what you want (in my case for most Smart Object) and viola - you have your dynamic object. However, in the newly revised version, there is a checkbox in low called "Add to my current library" If this box is checked, it becomes a library file that displays with a 'cloud' icon in the layer. If you uncheck the 'Add to my current library' it won't matter as a regular smart object.
