  It does nothing to make the prints.  If you configure settings of evidence for the color of your prrinter profile for paper and ink can help.   I just bought a Dell Netbook for my wife and after the opening of the Intel Graphics media accelerator control panel (driver for mobile 945 express chipset family), I tweaked the color correction to eliminate the bluish by default, BUT each time that I re boot the PC, these parameters are not re applied and I got to go again the same control panel and re still apply them (they show very well on the Panel configuration GUI just as I twisted them before the process of re - start, but they have simply not applied when the re PC starts).

  Is there a way to check what the FSB settings file is selected each time InDesign starts? I tried this script with a javascript script that allegedly worked with CS4. The field that is referenced 'app.colorSettings.cmsSettings' is not recognized as a valid field.

  Don't bother, just dismiss this dialog box. All means of "synchronization", it's that the same preset is applied to the color of each application settings. You can do it manually.

  But there is no particular reason to have the same color settings in all applications. Requirements will be probably different and my color settings are deliberately not synchronized (I wouldn't dream of ProPhoto RGB in Illustrator or InDesign, just as I would never policies CMYK, the value "preserve numbers" in Photoshop).

• ICC color profiles not recognized in advanced settings

  I'm a Civil Engineer using Acrobat for Windows 7 to print plan sets. My colleagues and I use identical computers, drawings and printers, but my plans still print more light, or with strange colors.   Obviously, something is not the same in the configurations.

  The key to what happens peut be in the fact that you see a RGB profile used for the printed output if your colleagues see a CMYK profile. This would be indicative of a difference in this page description language is used for printing.

  PostScript output normally made reference to a CMYK profile for printing. Print via GDI printing such as HP PCL or for matrix printers référenceriez a RGB profile as GDI focuses totally on the RGB.

  A scenario likely is that you and your employees share a printer that both PostScript and PCL. Your employees have access to the printer via a PostScript driver, and you access the printer through a PCL printer driver. If a PostScript driver for your printer is not installed, install that and see if that makes a difference!

  PS: in general, uninstalling and reinstalling the software, such as Acrobat, can relieve some frustration, but in our experience, it very, very, very rarely solves any underlying problem!

• TestStand for color selection

  I created a VI to display a dialog box to the user at a test TestStand sequence.  Among other attributes, I brought color controls (color sorry!) to TestStand to change the font and background of façade etc. for flexibility and reuse.

  My question is, given that the color controls appear in settings TestStand as simply U32 numerics is any facility in TestStand to have a selector of color instead of having to know what number equal to color?

  The alternative is to use lists listed to specify the color 'names' but it is a bit painful and limited.

  You asked a great question here - one that left me speechless for awhile! I work with TestStand 4.2, and I saw the same question. However, exactly as you mentioned, the color (sorry, color - ha) formats TestStand and LabVIEW are different endians.  This is discussed below.

  The color values are usually four whole bytes and commonly use the little-endian and big-endian format. Windows and ActiveX using the little-endian format, which stores the color red, green, and blue components in the 0x00BBGGRR byte position. LabVIEW and LabWindows/CVI use the big-endian format, which stores the color components in the positions of 0x00RRGGBB bytes.

  ... in fact, this behavior is expected.

  Fortunately, there is a very simple way to work around this problem. There is a function in TestStand to convert between 2 different color formats. If sending the following expression in a LabVIEW code module...

  ConvertColor (tsRed)

  .. .will pass the red color in LabVIEW LabVIEW will correctly interpret format.

  Indeed, the function ConvertColor() implements the same functionality as this piece of LabVIEW code.

  I have the HP Officejet 6700 Premium e-all-in-one, and I can't find any way to access the color management options.

  The printer is attached (Wi - Fi) to my iMac Mac OS 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion).

  I want to correct a magenta cast for the photos I printed.  I had the problem of magenta-cast in Lightroom and use Preview to print the photos, so now I want to work with color profiles in Photoshop Elements.

  Photoshop Elements is recommended I have 'disable color management in the printer Preferences dialog box.

  However, I am not able to find for the 6700 color management preferences in settings under Mountain Lion:

  Not sub (Apple) > System Preferences > print & Scan.

  Not sub (HP utility) > Open Embedded Web Server.

  Not sub (HP utility) > the printer settings.

  Non-print preview dialog.

  I can't find any clear directions in the online help (HP or elsewhere) that I've read so far.

  Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

  Thanks for the reply and the screen shot.

  The first thing I want to do you is to reset the printing system.
  OS X Mavericks: reset the printing system

  Then add the printer, however when it by adding not just click on the name of printers, click Add printer or a scanner. Make sure that the 'use' is set to the printer and not Airprint.
  If it is displayed as Airprint, you will be missing feautres compared to the actualy printers driver.

  After that, I'll provide you know several documents that you may find useful to perform this task.

• monitor color off after switching on computer monitors.

  White appears blue in a large number of programs (Photoshop, illustrator, etc) and it seems harder to read things on the monitor. Is there a way to configure the color on the monitor settings so that it works? I can't pass the monitors. It is a dell monitor that I use.

  Try 'right click' on a zone empty of your desktop and select properties and see if there is any option in there that can help you (or if you have a specific graphics card software) and sometimes the screen itself has a menu system and will allow you to modify the "temperature".
