Validate and adjust the color settings to start InDesign CS6 and CC

Is there a way to check what the FSB settings file is selected each time InDesign starts? I tried this script with a javascript script that allegedly worked with CS4. The field that is referenced 'app.colorSettings.cmsSettings' is not recognized as a valid field.

Here's the script:

var settCol = "Our-color-settings-name ';
isSet var = app.colorSettings.cmsSettings;
If (isSet! = settCol) {}
var userinput = confirm ("do you want to change your color settings? (\nYou have"isSet +" color settings selected\n\nWe recommend change if you are doing a job for the catalog! ", true);
If (userinput == true) {}
app.colorSettings.cmsSettings = settCol;
(alert ("you have the" + settCol + "selected.\n\nTo change this select color settings from the Edit menu"));
}
}
else {}
Alert ("You have the color settings" + isSet + "selected.\n\nTo change this select color settings from the Edit menu.");
}

Thank you

  • Adjust the color and the lightness/darkness for photos on HP Photosmart 6510

    When I print pictures, I want to be able to adjust the color, saturation and brightness, because the printer prints often dark and too intense in color.

    My last printer have an option for this in the menu, but with the 6510 I can't. Now a lot of my impressions is too dark, too much saturation.

    Using the touchscreen ic memory card is not an option, because it is mainly the picture (a lot of...) on my computer that I don't want to transfer to a memory card, first of all.

    I just want to be in control of what my printer performs.

    I don't think that this feature is more included in the software for this product. It is possible that if you use a rough driver, you might be able to use them, but I'm not some of what I've never needed to use:

    If this does not work, you will need to edit the photos before printing by another program.

    Let me know if it helps, I wish you a nice weekend!

    I have recently re installed Windows XP on my Dell Dimension 3000 and the color is now off on my monitor.  The color management setting offers a selection of 16-bit and 32-bit with the a limited range of color blue, black and yellow.  I also installed Driver Detective and all the drivers appear to be up-to-date.

    Hello

    ·         What is the brand and model of your printer?

    ·         What happens when you try to print in black?

    ·         Have you received an error message?

    Method 1: I suggest you try to print a black-and-white test page and find the issue.

    Method 2: Clean the print cartridge nozzle and check for the issue. To do so follow the steps below:

    (a) unplug the printer from its

    and remove the device print cartridges. Most printers contain at least two cartridges, one for black and one for the color.

    (b) locate the small holes in the printer where the toner cartridges are installed. Put 10 drops of isopropyl alcohol in each nozzle using a pipette.

    (c) use a soaked q-tip with alcohol to swab around the nozzles to loosen and remove dried ink that has accumulated on top. Let the alcohol evaporates.

    (d) run the printer cleaning and diagnostic test. Repeat steps 2 through 4 as required until the printer produces clean copy.

    Also check the settings of the printer.

    Reply back with more information, helping us to better understand the issue.

  • LaserJet MFP M277 PLC6: Cannot change the color settings, specifically in the category of graphs

    I need help on how to change the color for printer settings. I am unable to print graphics on forms, they come out as a solid black box. When I go into the color options I'm completely unable to change, there is no options to change anything: it only shows as neutral gray and black graphics.

    The printer has been the subject of assessment, and there are no exceptions to this topic. Please help.

    Your question is usually a driver problem.  Try to use pcl5 or postscript driver to see if one of them makes a difference.

    Unfortunately, CMS support seems only to work with the print files.

    He is also apparently not used on the Internet in General. Web designers do not want to include the information of profile with their web images because it is greatly increases the size of the file and slow downloads.

  • Adjust the color by color code...

    Hello...

    There is the list of colors that are implicitly available in the API (since 4.0.0).

    I want to set the color with the hex color code (RRGGBB), for example :-#C2A76D

    Insight will be appreciated.

    Rajnikant

    There are a few colors in net.rim.device.api.ui.Color are available. The return type of that the colors are int.

    So, you can use HexColor code as an int in the following format.

    int color = 0x00RRGGBB;

    For example, the following two are eqivalent:

    g.setColor(Color.BLUE);

    and

    int colorCode = 0x000000FF;g.setColor(colorCode);

  • How can I change the color of contour image in CS6?

    How can I change the color of the border or edges of an image when I place this image into an existing framework? Sometimes when I place a picture, the frame surrounding this image is a very clear, almost white color. It is a problem when I have an image with a white background and I need size by grabbing the handles. Sometimes I don't see the edges or the handles of this image. I know that you can change many colors of guide, but I can't find where to change the border color of the image.

    I narrowed down it to the color of the layers in the layers palette. If my layer color is red, the outline of the frame color is red but the outline of the image is a very light blue. If the color of the black layer the outline of the image when it is placed is almost white, not yet visible

    Is it possible to keep the edges of the image as a uniform color?

    Mac OS x 10.6.8

    InDesign CS6

    I'm sure that the only way to change this color is to change the main color of the layer.

    I'm the kind of geek who found it interesting enough to check into it some, and it seems Adobe engineers wired each layer of color with a 'contrast' direct-selected-color image of contour. Once you know how they are paired, you can always set particular layer color to for your image layer, and enjoy your choice of color of the outline of the picture. Here are the pairings of the 12 color first in the order of creation of new default layer:

    The layer color > color of contour Image

    Lt Blue > Brown

    Red > Cyan

    Green > violet

    Blue > yellow

    Magenta > dark green

    Cyan > red

    Orange > blue

    Dark green > Magenta

    Teal'c > Orange

    Tan > black

    Brown > Teal'c

    Violet > Green
