Color of InDesign page

Hi, I made a simple Flyer. The first thing I did was to make the document a golden yellow color. I then created my flyer. When I saved the flyer in a .pdf file, the color of the page is now in white. I don't know why. Any ideas?

(I'm relatively new to InDesign).

I did, I double clicked on the sample of PAPER and he changed out there.

Also, I need to print on the color paper, but I also want to be able to display the document in the color I chose on the internet.

Ah, ok, I would try to go to the master page and change the co; or here. I'll try it now. Thank you.

  • How to change the color of each page number in InDesign CC?

    I'm working on a book that has pages with black background and some with white background... I need to know how to change the color of each page number, so that they will be visible on the black background.

    I tried clicking on the page number, cmd + shift click... nothing seems to work. I have all the page numbers on a separate layer, because they were hidden behind the images that I place on each page... I don't know if it's important.

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

    My best advice is to make a second set of master pages with white numbers and apply them as needed.

  • Import a flat .psd or laminates gives different colors in InDesign

    I have a file .psd RGB, with sRGB profile. When it is placed in InDesign, the appearance of the colors as expected.

    When in Photoshop the background layer is double clicked (to make a layer), and the file is saved without any change.

    the colors in InDesign seem dull (as if there is some sort of current CMYK simulation).

    This happens with all the other images on the page where it is placed.

    On other pages, the flat file still looks raw and RGB - ish, but as soon as a layered file is added, the colors change.

    As soon as I delete the image in layers, colors go back to high heat. Sometimes in Print, Web, and Digital Publishing mode.

    I don't want any of this! (I use InDesign to make a presentation to the screen, and I like the look of the RGB image, but who are Cinema 4 d returns, I need a few institutions overlay)

    Any ideas on that?

    Thank you!

  • "Working color space" - InDesign

    Color settings show a RGB working space and work like Photoshop CMYK space. In InDesign, I seem to be CMYK all the time. My printer works fine with sRGB. When I send an InDesign page to the printer, I send sRGB or given CMYK? Should I if CMYK must use a specific profile?

    / Jason

    InDesign has RGB and CMYK 'concurrent' jobs, any given file will probably be both. He works at the level of the object instead of file level. Any given object can be RGB or CMYK.

    Images should be RGB original. Native graphics objects are by default CMYK, but can be defined as RGB in the color Panel.

    The normal release of ID is a PDF file for printing, especially if you want to send, you could simply export a PDF Conversion RGB and print that.

    If you print from ID (which you can), do the same way you do with the PS: InDesign let manage the color and turn off color management in the printer driver. Then all of these conversions are performed by ID on the fly, CMYK or RGB.

  • How to apply the Swatch of paper color on the page

    Hi Experts

    I want to apply the paper Swatch on the page color.

    I have try this to set the paper Swatch color but no success.

    indesign #target

    myDocument var = app.documents.add ();

    myPages var = myDocument.pages;

    myPage = myPages.item var (0);

    var swatchclr = app.activeDocument.swatches.itemByName ("Paper") .properties = {space:ColorSpace.RGB, model: ColorModel.PROCESS};

    swatchclr.colorValue = [255,150,0];

    There is no change in the value of the paper Swatch color.

    How to apply that color on the page?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Watch this line ('=' repeated):

    app.activeDocument.swatches.itemByName("Paper").properties swatchclr = = {space:ColorSpace.RGB, model: ColorModel.PROCESS};

    swatchclr.colorValue = [255,150,0];

    Swatchclr is a swatch.properties not a swatch.

    Make:

    swatchclr = app.activeDocument.swatches.itemByName ("Paper");

    swatchclr. Properties = {space:ColorSpace.RGB, model: ColorModel.PROCESS, colorValue: [255,150,0]};

  • Color in the Pages themes

    Hello! How can I create a color theme in Pages? (for example for the themes of personal color for sharts or table fills? "We have the brand colors and should be used in all documents.) I have fpund the addition of a single color, but not a complete theme with different shades.

    Sorry if someone has already asked and answered, I looked all day and have not found anything useful

    Thank you!

    Graphics and tables can have Styles that include all aspects of design, including colors, fonts, lines etc.

    See Styles in the side bar when you click the object.

    Select one, change the parts that you want and then click on the + sign in the Style and create a new Style based on your example.

  • Color change of page to Pages

    Hi all.

    Whenever I start (newest) page, it starts with a blank page. How can I change the color of this please?

    There is no configuration in Pages ' 09 v4.3 or Pages v5 (any version) to change the color of the page (eye strain relief) in the user interface and does not change the background color that stays with the document. The latter is done with a form of color-filled, enlarged to the size of the body of the document and then to the master of the section of force it to appear on all pages. This would be impractical.

    The free LibreOffice will allow you to customize (preferences: appearance) your word processor interface (Writer), including the background color of the document and the color of the page. Once defined, each document created or opened with have this Visual, but the colors are not incorporated in the document itself. The downside is that there are many presets, but no way to launch a color picker to customize the exact color that you want. What follows is the lightest yellow that is offered, and I still prefer less yellow.

    What is the place of white/grey of the seats next to my page numbers in Indesign Pages?

    The page consists of a pdf document of the Illustrator it contains, but other pages of the same do not have these squares beside the numbers.

    This means that transparency is used on this spread.

    It could be a different blending mode than normal usage, reduce the opacity, use effects such as drop shadow or fethered edges or the placement of any AI, pdp, pdf, psd, tiff, or indd files with transparency.

  • Change the background color to indesign, PDF export

    Hello

    I'm changing the background color on my document in indesign. I export the document in PDF format. I have already read some threads and can't seem to find an answer. Yes, I tried the whole thing of pages and I am well aware that it is for preview only.

    I read something that says to a framework and that will keep the background color to a pdf file. I'm new to indesign and have NO IDEA how to use it. Can someone please explain in dummy steps for me.

    Thank you.

    1. Working with layers
    2. On the master draw a color image in the backstory as lost on the lowest layer.
    3. Set up you pages on this basic form.
