  Yes, I'm talking about this box. It can become very annoying to always move forward and backward to go outside. I don't know that there should be an option in preferences * somewhere * on Illustrator CS5 where you can prevent this annoying box popping up all the time dang. It's almost like an ad. If the creators can do automatically pop up, then there should be a way to disable this feature. Otherwise, this should be listed as another aggravating Illustrator that needs to be fixed.

  Okay, so let me ask you, what do you expect to happen when you click on this box? If you're clicking on a square of color to choose a color, then it is normal that the color Panel opens - this is where you are supposed to choose color of. You expect the pop color picker like in Photoshop? This is simply not how Illustrator works.

  for some reason, when I saved as gif files, I could not reopen. I would get an error message. so, I read somewhere close photoshop and restart while pressing ctrl + alt + shift keys to reset all default values.

  I did, but now when I click on the squares of color of foreground or background at the bottom of the toolbar, I get a window stupid color with 48 squares base color and a couple like empty seats for custom colors.

  No matter what I try to reset, I can't have the color picker, and I have no way to find hex colors.

  In photoshop, go to Edition > Preferences > general and

  Choose the Adobe color picker.

  Hello. In PS CS4 and XP.

  Half of the time I use the color picker in Photoshop suddenly IE is opened using Photoshop in a separate window. I'm clicking on something? What I seem to be clicking on the box of color ranges is in the color picker. It's just very annoying. Was wondering if anyone had this problem? I thought that using Photoshop was supposed to open if you click on the Photoshop eye on the toolbar, which is not in CS4.

  It has been seen from time to time.  This may indicate corruption in the memory space of Photoshop.  If I were you, I would immediately save my work and close Photoshop if you do this.

  Some things to try to prevent it from happening:

  • Update your video driver on the web site of the manufacturer of your video card.
  • Set up the OpenGL drawing to turn off advanced drawing and vertical sync.
  • Examine your 3rd party plug-ins, delete the ones you don't need and seek versions updates to those that you use.

  Good luck to get to the bottom of this.

• Color Picker script or algorithm levels help

  First question is: did anyone know of a good explanation of the algorithm of levels as in how each setting affects a pixel in an image. If I change the middle point levels, how a specific pixel change in relation to this? I've experimented for hours and cannot understand one common factor other that there seems to be a relationship of binary type. The reason why I ask this question, it's because I'm trying to generate scripts that will balance the colors.

  If this method is not practical, I can go to the old method of old-fashioned trial and error, but this way also presents an obstacle for me. I made a point of color picker and the script can get the values from there exactly as it is in the Info Panel. If I put an above levels adjustment layer and adjust it, I now see the initial color and the adjusted value of color in the Info Panel, but I can't figure out how to get the value adjusted with a script. It always returns the original value. Does anyone know how to get the adjusted value?

  I hope I explained this right.

  What version of Photoshop are you using and what layer is active when you ran the script? I guess the depth of space and little color might also have.

  With CS4, 8 bit RGB I get different values, unless the adjustment layer was not visible when the script starts. Looks like maybe your adjustment layer was turned off when you ran the script becuse you see 226 (rounded) in the alert

  I'm new to LabVIEW and tries to make a graph I did appear transparent.  According to http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Using-LabView-s-Color-Picker/m-p/575619/highlight/true#M269839, the color picker is available as one of the digital controls, but I'm not in there, or by shift and right click the mouse, nor in the Tools menu.  I've attached a screenshot of what I see.  Is anyone able to help me please?

  I didn't know about this thing.  I usually have the visible tool palette in a corner of my screen so I rarely used it. When I try, the tool palette appears, but I can't seem to open the color picker.

  To make a transparent chart at the time of the change (as opposed at run time), go to the view menu and select the tool Palette. Do not ask why the tool palette is under the view menu, but not the Tools menu! The lower part of the tool palette has a brush and two areas that overlap. By clicking on the boxes shows the color picker. A bx is the foreground color and the other is background color. Once you have selected the color, you can apply it by clicking on the end of the paint brush on the object you want to change the color.   Graphics use several colors: Frame, area of tracing, scales, sliders, annotations, and perhaps others. You can also change these via property nodes.

  You may need to experiment to get the view you want. For example, the area of tracing both the framework must be transparent to see an object that is behind the chart.

  Rather than put into squares colors use color chart & global colors (indicated by a white triangle at the bottom of the swatch)

  

  To apply the nuance to a point of gradient is easy. You select the point of gradient (indicated by a black triangle above the point of gradient). ALT then click a color in the Swatches palette to fill this gradient.

  

  If you use global colors, you can easily double, click a shade and change colors and all uses of the color update.

  Here, I've added 44 black to make the Green darker.

  

  World Vision automatically adjusts the point of gradient.

  

• After the opening and closing of the color picker dialog box, I get a non-specific error message.

  What this means? When I hover over a color in my stylesheet, the preview comes up and I want to change the color value. I fly over the value then I right click and choose hint of color tools and color picker color picker appears but the fact this warning. If I do this three or four times the alert stops popping up and then I can use the color picker to change the value. • Slow down the color picker?

  Is it possible to slow down the speed of the color picker moves?

  I find that when I find a combination that I like, when I'm going to freeze the screen pickers have already passed to (and captured) a different combination.

  No, it cannot be slowed down, but once it freezes, you can tap and drag on the circles of color to move. You can also change the themes once they are saved by tapping a theme in your library and then pressing the button change.
