Indeed, the 10.3.1 branch had I think 4 releases more given that the one you are on, and there were 10 in the 10.3.2 branch... so your OS is indeed quite old now (and, if reports here should be used as an indicator, this version was also very problematic indeed).

  But you also involved information it is important to keep separate. 10.3.1.1779 is a "software version", while 10.3.2.2339 is a value of BONE. They are different things, and depending on who you are chatting with or what tools you use, it is important to work with the right pair.
