Column using SQL format

Hi thanks for the reply.

IF I want the column OPP_VALUE format how do I format it using sql

I do when I create the table? I loaded these data using the spreadsheet.

I tried
The separate TAB. CLIENT, tab. SC, tab. HOURS, tab. OPP_VALUE, tab.opp_val_rank
Of
(SELECT CLIENT, SC, TIME, column OPP_VALUE format OPP_VALUE 999 999, DENSE_RANK() over (order by OPP_VALUE DESC) opp_val_rank)
OF FMW_ANALY) tab
WHERE the opp_val_rank < = 10;

I get the error ORA-00936: lack of expression

increase the 9 for your lot fits into:

to_char(OPP_VALUE,'9999999,99999') OPP_VALUE

  • Get the value of the second column used for the formatting of the break

    Hello

    I have a report that uses breaks on the first and second columns. Breaks are displayed as headers repeat on break and I am able to display the value of the first column to break using #COLUMN_VALUE # section rehearsal breaks use this format, use #COLUMN_VALUE # subs. I would like to know if there are somewhat similar to refer to the value in the second column of the break.

    Looked at some other threads on this topic and it seems that this was not possible in versions 3.x pre of the Apex. Would like to know if there is a way to achieve Apex version 3.1.0.00.32.

    Kind regards
    Rupesh

    In the new version, interactive reports can break on / up to 6 columns. In previous versions, I just join together the two columns that had to be broken off on so you can have a column in the report settings available.

    I hope this helps.

  • Replacement of alpha-numeric characters using SQL only

    C84 CW66, GED54,

    How can I change the following format for

    Cw 66, 54, C 84 GOL

    only by using SQL commands and not to the help of PL/SQL procedures or function?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Welcome to the forum!

    REGEXP_REPLACE ( str -- or maybe INITCAP (str)
                , '([[:alpha:]])([[:digit:]])'
                , '\1''\2'
                )

    Returns a copy of the str string, with a single quote added after each letter (upper or lower case) which was initially followed immediately by a number.
    If you want to change the case at the same time, use INITCAP (str) as 1st REGEXP_REPLACE argument.

    I hope that answers your question.
    If not, post a small example data (CREATE TABLE and only relevant columns, INSERT statements) for all of the tables involved and also publish outcomes from these data.
    Explain, using specific examples, how you get these results from these data.
    Always tell what version of Oracle you are using. REGEXP_REPLACE works in Oracle 10.1 or more.

  • Is there a way to use data formats i.e. Go Mo Ko in numbers?

    Is there a way to use data formats i.e. Go Mo Ko in numbers?

    I am trying to add the size of the library files to estimate the needs of the HD. If I had the files on my system I could just put them in a folder and the operating system would be to calculate them for me, but I don't have them yet. I have a list of files and their size in GB.

    Someone has it worked?

    I suggest the following:

    Create a second table called "convert".

    In this table, enter the first column as show (pasted here so you can copy)

    Value

    Divide by

    suffix

    0

    1

    b

    400

    1024

    Ko

    1000000

    1048576

    MB

    1000000000

    1073741824

    GB

    1000000000000

    1099511627776

    TB

    Appropriate now in the table 1 use the conversion table to change the size of the files in the format:

    "C2 = ROUND (B2÷VLOOKUP (B2, Convert::A:C, 2, 1), 2) &" "& VLOOKUP(B2,Convert::A:C,3,1)".

    It's shorthand dethrone select cell C2, then type (or copy and paste it here) the formula:

    "= ROUND (B2÷VLOOKUP (B2, Convert::A:C, 2, 1), 2) &" "& VLOOKUP(B2,Convert::A:C,3,1)".

    Select cell C2, copy

    Select cells C2 at the end of the C column, paste

    Of course, you'll want to change the types of data, etc. as needed.

    I assumed that the XML can contain several "" sections and that each section can contain several entries.

    Thus the XMLTABLE aliasing as 'x' gives information of XML, and supplies the data associated with the XMLTABLE with alias 'y' which gets the multiple authors, which itself section of the XMLTABLE with alias 'z' for each of the article_item.

    I try with model db (DB empty, just a single table), but the error is same. However, if I try to copy the acronym tabele from SQL Server to Oracle it works fine...

    I guess it's something with the configuration, but beacause I am new in Oracle still have no idea...

    Any help would be much appreciated

    I thank in advance

    Stefan

    Hello Stefan,

    did you create the repository Migration of your database to Oracle (Tools-> Migration-> repository management)?

    The SS2K5ALLPLATFORM package is usually created when you add the migration of the Oracle database repository and it contains the function StageCapture.

    So please make sure that you have created a repository of migration in an Oracle database and associate it with the first step of your migration.

  • Problem loading xml using sql loader file

    Please help me how can I load full xml in a single column using command line without Hardcoding in the control file

    Published by: 907010 on January 10, 2012 02:24

    But strangely it attempts to load each line of the xml file in the table instead of the whole file

    Nothing strange, that the data parameter specifies the file containing the data to load.
    If you use the name of the XML here, the control file will try to interpret each line of XML as being separate ways.

    The traditional approach this is to have the name of the file stored in another file, say filelist.txt and use, for example:

    echo "/u01/APPL/apps/apps_st/appl/xxtop/12.0.0/bin/file.xml" > filelist.txt
    sqlldr $1@$TWO_TASK control=$XXTOP/bin/LOAD_XML.ctl data=filelist.txt direct=true;

  • How can I use SQL/CUBE to figure out total?

    How can I use SQL/CUBE to figure out total?

    Thank you.
    -JC

    Of course, you can do this by using the cube. But cube will produce all the possible combinations of summary. We can filter the unnecessary summariies having clause using the group_id function which is a binary encoding of the columns that are summarized. Below for example, as applied on the table SH.sales.

    Select channel_id, promo_id, prod_id, sum (amount_sold)

  • ORA-22901 when you use sql (no space) union

    I have a number of spatial views. I want to take some common fields and a column of the geometry of each of these points of view and use sql union to get a single view of all the data that meet certain criteria.

    Example:

    / / DESC View1
    Identification number,
    Comment varchar2 (200)
    geom mdsys.sdo_geometry

    View2 DESC
    Identification number
    Comment varchar2 (200)
    geom mdsys.sdo_geometry

    I want to do this:
    Create view viewUnion as
    SELECT id, comment, geom, viewname 'View1' View1
    Union
    SELECT id, comment, geom, "view2 viewname of view2;

    The creation of the view is accepted, but when I try select * from viewUnion; I get ORA-22901.

    Can I get there from here? Is there something about the space object that prevents the union from working?

    Any guidance will be appreciated.

    Thank you

    View of the "union all" is right for your application?
    i.e.

    Create view viewUnion as
    SELECT id, comment, geom, viewname 'View1' View1
    Union of all the
    SELECT id, comment, geom, "view2 viewname of view2;

  • SQL formatting question

    I have a PL/SQL package that essentially the archiving with INSERT in SELECT statements. It looks like
    insert into archive_table@dblink
    (col1,
    col2,
    col3,
    .
    .
    .
    .
    )
    select from original_table
    (col1,
    col2,
    col3,
    .
    .
    .
    .
    )
    For huge tables, I just get a list of the columns in the CREATE table statements (view SQL in PL/SQL developer). But this INSERT statement seems very long because a single column (and his coma) will there be per line.

    The code looks like very long (vertically)
    insert into archive_table@dblink
    (col1,
    col2,
    col3,
    col4,
    col5,
    col6,
    col7,
    col8,
    col9,
    col10,
    col11,
    col12,
    col13,
    col14,
    col15,
    .
    .
    .
    .
    col150
    )
    select from original_table
    (
    col2,
    col3,
    col4,
    col5,
    col6,
    col7,
    col8,
    col9,
    col10,
    col11,
    col12,
    col13,
    col14,
    col15,
    .
    .
    .
    col150
    )
    I want several columns in a single row so that the code looks more like short
    insert into archive_table@dblink
    (col1,col2,col3,col4,col5,col6,
    col7,col8,.......
    )
    select from original_table
    (
    col1,col2,col3,col4,col5,col6,
    col7,col8,.......
    )
    I used SQL in PL/SQL developer beautifier. But it did not work. Is there any tool you are aware of that can do this?

    Go to the menu Tools and then "Preferences...". ».
    In the UI section, click on "Beautifier PL/SQL ' and then click on the Edit button to modify your settings of beautifier.

    In the DML tab change your settings to 'Fit' for insert and select, maybe updated, according to your need.
    You can also adjust the width of the screen in the general tab, under the option of "right margin".

    I would recommend saving your settings in a file so you can reuse it in all cases that you may need to change computers or something.

    Edit: Oops I replied to the wrong post by habit, Alex.

    As a pointer, VitaminD, your insert command has an incorrect syntax in the select part where there should be something like below instead of columns after the name of the table.

    insert into archive_table@dblink
    (col1,
    col2,
    col3,
    .
    .
    .
    .
    )
    select col1,
    col2,
    col3,
    .
    .
    .
    .
    from original_table
