  Not possible unfortunately. The only place where that would happen is on the Group of people, where combinations are created dynamically based on values supplied for group of segments. Job, you must specify a value for p_job_id who must already exist as a valid job.

• Area permissions Admin subject OBIEE

  I'm trying to accomplish two things related to securing the subject box.  I'm not able to do either with the OBIEE Admin tool as I believe it should work but haven't found a long work around for one using the Administration manage the privileges in the responses.  Here are the two challenges:

  (1) cannot create the table based on security in the administration tools of OBIEE that works when it is deployed to the OBIEE server:

  Location: In the OBIEE administration tool I have:

  • Field 'ARG' who has the following permissions:
    • Authenticated user (defined as reading have no fault in option)
    • GRA Analytics ()set read/write)
    • GRA course Analytics (set read/write)
    • All other responsibilities are defined by default
  • Within the area of topic GRA, I have a table named 'Global' with the following permissions:
    • Authenticated user (defined as reading have no fault in option)
    • Analytics ARG (as default)
    • GRA course Analytics (set read/write)
    • All other responsibilities are defined by default
  • I have a user configuration with the responsibility of 'Analytics ARG' but NOT the responsibility of GRA Secure Analytics
  • The user is authenticated using LDAP by Siebel (where the responsibilities are assigned

  Desire:

  • When the user connects to answers and opens the topic GRA they would see all tables EXCEPT the global table

  Undesirable result:

  • The user is able to see the GRA area but also sees the global table
  • I find users in the groups of roles/catalog and they DO NOT have the role of GRA Secure Analytics ( do not have the role of GRA analytics.)

  Note: My second question which I included below directly impact on the question of the top of the page.

  (2) cannot create the topic in that security based in administrative tools of OBIEE that works when it is deployed to the OBIEE server:

  • Find the ARG area and then set the permissions of responsibility Through analytics and GRA Secure Analytics as "Granted".
  • When the user logs in the responses with the analytical GRA or the responsibility of GRA Secure Analytics they see the ARG area, but if they don't have the responsibility that they don't see it.

  Problems with work around:

  • Makes assigning permissions in OBIEE Admin obsolete tool
  • Cannot assign table level permissions here and therefore cannot solve the first problem listed
  • Still not sure why to set permissions in the OBIEE administration tool are ignored

  If you could help me find a solution that gets the work tool OBIEE Admin permissions it would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi Ben,

  I have the feeling you haven't exactly how these things works.

  In the authorization in the 'Authenticated users' administration tool means that every single user in turning to the stage of connection.

  "Read" is enough to see and use (scan on) an object.

  "Read/write" If you want to make updates to your data through OBIEE.

  (2) only members of the roles GRA Analytics & GRA Secure Analytics app must be able to see these topic: 'see' means hide or display in the front end, it's something you manage (as you did in the privileges to manage in the front-end server. If you want to restrict the user to use the subject box (this is what is permission to Admin tool) you will need to attach "Authenticated user" to "No access", all other roles 'Default' (= 'Access forbidden') with the exception of your 2 app Analytics ARG and ARG Secure Analytics roles for which you set the 'Read' permission

  (1) just use the same "recipe" (2): 'Authenticated user' to 'Access forbidden', GRA Analytics also on "Access forbidden" and only Through Secure analytics on 'reading '.

  Give it a try.

  Just keep in mind that Manage privileges works in a different way than the tool Admin permissions. Privileges to manage 'decline' is the highest permission. If an app role has 'decline' and another 'allow' and you are a member of both you will have the "decline" applied to you.

  In the Admin tool, it's the opposite: If one role of the app does not have 'access' and another 'read' and you are both Member you will have permission to 'read '.

  which returns a SID, user name and 64 characters in sql, the following line will show 64 characters and so on.

  So I would be able to combine all the t.SQL_TEXT where s.SID and s.USERNAME are the same as the previous line, as such:

  SID USERNAME SQL_TEXT

  1 USER1 select bla blah blah blah 64 characters long

  1 USER1 second 64 to 128 character set

  1 long USER1 questioning more than 64 characters

  1 USER1 will still more than 64 characters more

  After

  1 USER1 select bla blah blah blah 64 longsecond 64 query 128long 64 charactersstill character set characters more go longer than 64 characters

  (Note: no spaces between strings of SQL_TEXT.)  If they should be there, they are considered as a character)

  This looks like a job for the LISTAGG function, something like this:

  GROUP BY s.sid, s.username

  LISTAGG returns a VARCHAR2, which can contain up to 4000 characters.  If all the strings to combine are since long the entire 64 characters, so you can have as many 62 of them in each group.

• I'm getting conversion failure on my files combine.  Same files that I've done before.  It's never happened before.  What is going on?

  Please try to combine PDF files after you login to "https://cloud.acrobat.com/combinepdf" by using the credentials of your Adobe ID.

  In addition, make sure that the files you want to combine are not secure, password protected, 3D or a part of a PDF portfolio because these are not cumulative.

  If you are combining supported file types and still get this error, try the following:

  • Log off, and then clear the cache. Then log into https://cloud.acrobat.com/combinepdf using a supported web browser (see: technical specifications |) Adobe Document Cloud).
  • Try to combine small groups of files, to see if you can reduce the error down to a specific file or files.

• Combined security problems (user assigned to two groups)

  Group 1 has access to entity A - produced X. Group 2 has access to entity B - y. If a user is assigned to the two groups, he has access to unwanted as A entity - combinations product Y / entity B - product X.
  
  What is an expected behavior because of the way access filters are generated? Is it possible to avoid the undesirable combinations?
  
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  
  1. create the Group A and Group B
  2. create user
  3. assign security access of Group of axis 1 - members 1 / axis 2 - Member
  4 assign security access Group B of Dimension 1 - member 2 / axis 2 - Member B
  5. create a web form with axis 1 and 2 of Dimension in the form of pages (by selecting the members 1 member 2, A and B)
  6 assign user to group A and B
  7 confirm that the undesirable combinations are allowed

  I do this business for everyone including new activities outside on Topliners! I'll clarify that everyone can understand the difficult facets one might face when it comes to outdoor activities in combination with lead scoring for the first time. Not that we have solved this problem already, this is why I thought it would be a good idea to make this issue.

  Me and the team that I'm currently working are currently experiencing challenges with trying to properly configure the trial creditrice then it could possibly make lead scored.

  Eloqua support described in a post for us that we should forget the name and only add the rule response that contains the type of assets and activity of the asset. So not the name.

  We have taken this to heart and made the following:

  1: make an outdoor activity: (see image below).

  

  2: make a response rule: (see image below)

  

  3: a campaign named external activities Test ABCD. He has given a statement of anger and saved a campaign called ID: ABCD.

  4. a score of model lead (see image below).

  

  5 lead Activated marking the campaign model and enabled.

  6 added a testfile directly in the above mentioned campaign: it looked like this: (see image below).

  

  7. wait: Just... nothing happened...

  Yes, everything works with AppleIDs.

  An iTunes subscription game is one by AppleID, not shared.  There is a similar feature which operates as part of a subscription to Apple's music for which there is a family subscription option.

  The system is configured to work with the software and Apple devices even if part of the software is available in Android and Windows.

• Convert a webpage to PDF in safari air Ipad 2

  I am currently trying to use safari to print pages from a web application.  Currently

  My only option is save in iBooks (which turns to PDF) and then send it to myself.

  Is there a way to make these web pages in safari and "print to PDF" or "Save as pdf".

  iBooks is really limited.  I'm having a hard time managing more than 100 PDFs in ibooks.  Moving them and emailing them are a real challenge.  I am also unable to upload to google reader.  Ideally I would be able to save the pdf file and then annotate.  My other problem is that other applications are not able to access the PDF files in ibooks creates thus defeat the purpose.

  As always, I am very grateful for help or advice anyone can offer.

  As you know - when you click on the share button - the square with the arrow coming out on top - it gives a number of options to save the web page - try to use pdf maker app and see if that appears on the list.

• Tecra S2 - Lan Controller is disabled after the installation of FritzCard PCMCIA

  My laptop is a Tecra S2.
  Once a FritzCard PCMCIA v2.0 is plugged in, the Lan controller is disabled.
  Not until the PCMCIA FritzCard is removed and the S2 is restarted, the LAN controller can be re-enabled.

  The LAN controller is identified by the Device Manager as a "Marvell Yukon 88E8053 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller". I tried the latest drivers for the AVM FritzCard, both with regard to the Marvell Yukon. (original 1. Toshiba LAN Driver of the recover CD, 2. the last driver from Toshiba support download page and a driver, offered by the Marvell website).

  I have no much experience with FritzCard, but one of my friends told me that if someone uses this card, it is very important to install the supplied software before the card can be used. I'm sure he must have some manuals how to install the card properly.

  The other thing is that the two devices use the same resources (IRQ).

• Intel GMA - disabling access keys rotation has no effect

  I want to use ctrl + alt + down, alt + top and ctrl in some application, so I want to disable these access keys. I did it in Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Mobile settings but it has no effect: these key combinations are always turning my screen. The parameters are properly remembered.

  I tried on the administrator and normal user account. Someone knows how to fix this?

  As I see in the hot key settings each entry listed for the purposes of the action may be disabled separately.
  Click on each combination of shortcut keys and choose the option Disable.

  I recently bought a NB550D with c-50.

  There are several discussions around the internet and here about the upgrades. It seems that the 2 are the main challenges or desired things to do with this laptop with equal challenges.
  1 put level memory to 4 GB
  2 install win 7 64 bit.

  I decided to embark on the two, so here I will try to summarize what I have done or have been done to help others who would like to do a similar thing:

  1 memory

  In summary, it seems that the laptop can use speed of DDR3-1066 DDR3-1066 and DDR3-1333. People report that kingston modules have no problem.
  After reading many forums, I decided to buy Kingston DDR3-1333 memory since the 1066 kingston was not available in the shop, I visited.
  I installed it and works well in the original operating system (started) and Ultimate 64 bit (ongoing). The difference is night and day.

  2 Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

  After reading around in the forums, it is clear that people have issues with drivers and especially display drivers. Here's what I did so far, although I'm still updating the drivers:

  1 downloaded the driver realtek Lan here:

  http://www.Realtek.com/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1&PNid=14&PFID=7&level=5 & Conn = 4 & DownTypeID = 3 & GetDown = false

  I downloaded the driver only "Win7 and WinServer 2008 R2 pilot' version 7.049

  Maybe a stupid question now but is there so special reason why you want to have the Ultimate version? You are not satisfied with the original preinstalled OS?
