Commenting on

Hello

There is an update in Acrobat Pro DC years now a comment disappeared. One where you can striketrough and give

also the correction. I looked in tools to customize, comment but did not.

Can someone help me recover this useful tool.

Thank you

Hello

Thanks for joining us.

The tool you are looking for is "add a note to replace the text".

In the latest version, there are two changes.

  1. It is levied at the bottom of the tool it was redundant and same functionality can be achieved using strike through text and adding a note of popup for it.
  2. Orders for correction of text (insert text, block of text and add a note to replace text) are now enabled by default in app comment and did not not to be selected in the toolbar. You have to just,
    1. Select the text and begin typing to replace the text
    2. Press DELETE to strikethrough
    3. Start typing without selecting text to Insert text

Hope it helps.

Thank you

  • Search in the comment field in iTunes no longer works

I use the latest version of iTunes. For each song, I wrote different types of information in the comment field. Suddenly the search function does not include the comment field more. It's very frustrating. I searched this forum and searched through Google. Unfortunately, without success, none of the tips that I found can solve the problem. Hoping to find some help here.

The deposited comment is actually displayed in the playlist when you're looking? Some fields do not appear in a search if they are not displayed.

  • Comments of print with extreme network and printer HP Envy 4520

Project night and I have people coming. My comments and personal networks are set up. I have an extreme Airpot and a range of printers HP 4520. Is there a way that my guests and I can print from here. Other then to move networks back on my printer? I tell myself that I'm asking here before I ask HP. I seem to get better answers here. Thanks for any idea!

Users connected to the network 'Guest' cannot 'see' all devices in the 'hand' or 'private '.  Only "see you" each other and connect to the Internet.

Same thing for users on the hand, or a private network.

If you want a user on the network to be able to print, then you will need to install a printer wireless network reviews.

If users on the main network and the guest network printing, then you need a printer for each network.

A Dingo workaround solution would be to ask him to send you an email with an attachment that you can print and give back their.

Ok. Best evidence will be a screenshot of what you DO not see...

    1. Finder
    2. Help menu
    3. Mac Help (should look like this after doing a few choice)
    4. Hold down command + SHIFT keys, and press '3 '.
      you will hear a "shuttersnap".
There will be a new file to PNG image on your desktop

Also test 'application help' - as the preview or Safari - same choice of Menu 'help' but IN the App - take a screenshot if no joy

  • Why there are no simple option to create an account? Why should people go through all this just to comment on a post?

I tried to comment on a post here which really helped me. I wanted to show my gratitude, but firefox says I need an account for this, but there was no sign in option. It took me so long to go through all the drama out of the blue. Just make it simple.

Most of the time users have problems that have already been resolved.
This is the reason why we recommend users to consult articles support and resolved the questions before asking a new question.

In fact Mozilla Support allow users to leave their comments on a thread or a response without any account with 3 buttons:

    • I have also this problem, under question
    • Yes and No next of what was useful for you? below each answer

    (see attached screenshot)

    Hello

Launch Firefox in Mode safe mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems?redirectlocale=en-us & redirectslug = Troubleshooting + extensions + and + Themes

These measures give a try and see if the problem persists

    I hope this helps!

  • Comments on Time Capsule network does not

I recently installed and configured my new Time Capsule (TC) and created my home network, that works without problem. The guest network distributes however, 169 IP addresses to any device connected to it. My TC has the following parameters:

Internet: Connect using DHCP, IPv4 address: 192.168.0.10, Internet Options configure IPv6: link-local, wireless: welcome and feedback network enabled with both wireless security WPA/WPA2 Personal, wireless Options: not used, network: router Mode: Off (Bridge Mode). I tried to use DHCP and NAT (distributes 172 IP address for iPhone and iPad and internet work), but my TC light flashes orange and the home network is not working correctly. What is the correct Assembly and my home and guest network can work properly? Thanks for your help!

Network: Router Mode: Off (Bridge Mode).

The prompt will not work with the TC in bridge.

I tried to use DHCP and NAT (distributes 172 IP address for iPhone and iPad and internet work), but my TC light flashes orange and the home network is not working correctly.

It of the right mode for wireless guest... but is the wrong way for the TC, because then you have double NAT.

Reset you the TC to plant before you set up or do you exchange you bridge DHCP and NAT... If the later, it won't work... you must first factory reset.

In my humble OPINION Apple made a stupid decision to prevent comments in mode bridge... but you can't change it.

The bridge is the right settings for the TC... you use the wireless on the main router as a guest... wireless or you should fill the main router in order to use the TC as the only router.

Try to clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that are causing problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

    • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

  • 14.04 the unit does not load firefox only gksudo or comments "will."

for months 6 or so Firefox now stop launching from the icon of unity... done loading cycle ball and - nothing, it will only load Terminal gksudo firefox, or as a guest visitor. Literally hundreds of codes terminal by 'experts' have not... it seems that I am not recognised as an administrator/owner by Ubuntu or firefox... and it is not available as preview of bluefish (same problem) ubuntu is the only OS and firefox browser only. Please keep in mind that I receive responses by email.

Terminal and firefox gives me this:
    (process: 14428): CRITICISM of GLib *: g_slice_set_config: assertion 'sys_page_size == 0' failed

It is a warning that does not start Firefox.
You don't explain if Firefox actually does start or not not when starting it leave a Terminal like cor - el suggested above.

    I just tried/etc/init. D/vmware install

I don't know what you were trying to reach wrt VMware. It is clear from the above command that you have no idea of what you do on the CLI. Your other comments it seems that you try arbitrary commands you have picked up various items without understanding what they mean.
Stop it. It will do you no good.

  • Firefox does not comment based on Facebook on all websites (for example Huffpost): I tried the safe mode, disabling anti-ad... nothing works.

I can get on FB and post. etc., but sites that use them commenting on do not display comments. I've tried safe mode, re - install Firefox: not to go.

It's complicated. There are many links in the chain...

You want to check if Firefox is actually sending a request to Facebook many different servers and receive a normal response? Here's how you can try it.

While watching the HuffPost (or other) page, press Ctrl + Shift + k to open the Web Console in the lower part of the tab along its top edge, click Network. Then reload the page and network monitor should start to fill with dozens of URL in the order that makes Firefox the application.

After he calms down, you can scroll down or click on the header of the column field sort by site and search queries to these areas. They were called in the order in my little test, among a bunch of other things:

For example, if there is no request to connect.facebook.net, then a script blocker or a blocker Tracker can kick in. If there is no request for html pages, then the script could be at fault or another type of block can be considered.

Note: I stay connected on Facebook, so being connected may have some influence on this point that I'm not aware of.
