  • How to remove a network?

    During the installation of my new computer, I'm done with TWO networks that I don't want and don't need.  I see no information on "how to set up a network"... but how do I REMOVE a network?   When you click on the network (which I don't), there is no other choice for 'clear '.   The network location does not exist.   I don't see this site if this question has already been answered, if so, please direct me there.

    My question is really, how to PERMANENTLY DELETE a wireless network?

    Hello

    Follow these steps:

    Press the Windows key + X

    Select prompt (Admin)

    type in the console:

    netsh wlan show profile

    Out of the above might look like this:

    Profiles on interface Wi - Fi:

    Group policy profiles (read-only)
    ---------------------------------

    User profiles
    -------------
    All user profile: admin
    All user profile: xfinitiywifi

    Now, for example to remove the xfinitiywifi constantly type in the console:

    netsh wlan delete profile name = xfinitiywifi

    In this example to also remove the other network called "admin" do the same thing:

    netsh wlan delete profile name = Admin

    To verify that these have been removed to type this:

    netsh wlan show profile

    should not be more networks.

  • How to remove a network of organization using the vCloud API?

    Hello

    I try to delete a network of internal organisation, using the java sdk:

    AdminOrgNetwork orgNetwork = getOrgNetwork("myNetwork"); // This will query vCloud and return a valid object
    orgNetwork.delete(); // This failes with: "com.vmware.vcloud.sdk.VCloudException: HTTP method not allowed"

    For some reason it isn't working and I get ""HTTP method not allowed ". "

    I also check the xml object returned by vCloud and I noticed that missing the link delete:

    <OrgNetwork xmlns="http://www.vmware.com/vcloud/v1.5" name="myNetwork" id="...">
        <Link rel="up" type="application/vnd.vmware.vcloud.org+xml" href="..."/>
        <Link rel="down" type="application/vnd.vmware.vcloud.metadata+xml" href="..."/>
        <!-- Onetwork details -->
    </OrgNetwork>

    Removal of network does not enjoy using the API? Or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

    No matter what support in how to actually remove the network (which btw is also created using the API) would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

    I think you are trying to delete a view of the user of the org network.

    You should try to suppress the display of the admin of the org network.

    What do you do under the getOrgNetwork ("myNetwork"). How do you get the org network. I think you found the network org user here.

    Get it from the VcloudAdmin-> AdminOrganization-> networks.

    Kind regards

    Rajesh Kamal.

  • How to remove several networks in the Smart WiFi Linksys

    I hope this is the right place to ask this question, if not please me foregive. I recently replaced my router with a WRT1900AC and after installation, I use my account for smart wifi Linksys to the Manager of this router that I used with my old Linksys router. However, when I noticed two other networks listed as to connect to networks of connection. They do not connect what either and I think that they are of my old router (I used the same network name). How do I remove these? They do not seem to be causing the problems, but are confused. Thanks in advance for any help!

  • How to remove old network cards in XP guest upgrade?

    I had difficulties to install VMware Tools and found with three (3)! unusable old AMD PCnet etc cards network after having put in the vmxnet driver 3.

    XP will not let me delete these network adapters in the Device Manager, I've currently disabled them.

    Guest XP rpet "failed to uninstall the device. The device may be required to start the computer.

    How can I remove them? Can I remove the vmxnet and start all over again?

    I need to know the right way to remove the old NIC because I have a lot of virtual machines to upgrade.

    Thank you, Tom

    Hello.

    Remove the old network interface cards is usually done via the Device Manager.  From the command prompt, type the following:

    Set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices = 1

    devmgmt.msc

    When the Device Manager opens, select the view menu and choose "Show Hidden devices."

    If you can not remove this way, you may need to enter in the registry.  Search HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Class the NIC name (as it appears in Device Manager).  The Characteristics field will probably have a value similar to 0 x 00000029 - change this value to 0 x 00000009 will be the NIC user removable.

    As with all things related registry, have good backups and be careful.

    Good luck!

  • How to remove the network limitation all?

    Workstation using 11, on a host Windows 8.1, with two computers Windows 8.1 invited.

    The two guests use NAT for networking.

    My network provider claims to be provide me with the 50 M and 10 M in height.  On my host, depending on how I measure, I think I can constantly raise between 40 and 45 M down and (oddly) between 9 and 12 M.

    On my two guests, stuck between 8 and 11 M high, which seems fine.

    However, also on both my guests, I get between 23 and 27 M down, even if only a prompt is open, and even though I take great care to ensure that the host itself uses no bandwidth.

    This would mean to me that there is some sort of current limitation.

    However, if I go to VM-> settings-> network card-> advanced, the dialog shows that both box transfer incoming and outgoing are unlimited.  For me there is nothing weird about some overhead in the NAT translation, but a third of my network gnawed for this flow seems a little excessive...

    Any ideas out there?

    Thanks in advance.

    Try to set the power to 'high performance' management and raise the speedtest. I found speedtest in VMs are sensitive to the State of the processor power management.

    Hello:

    It depends on.

    With Windows 8, you right click on the network, you do not want and select forget this network.

    With Windows 7, see this link.

    http://www.technixupdate.com/forget-or-remove-WiFi-network-remembered-connectivity-details-in-Windows-7/

    If you want to never see the comments network, disable the network comments option in the configuration menu of your router.

    The "Guest" is an option on many routers that allows you to have people connect to internet via wifi from your router, but not have access to your home network.
