    Check the control panel | Power options and try to disable the screen saver and see if that fixes the problem.  If not, try to address some of the other power options to keep things to turn off automatically if the computer is not in use (if it's just to play music with no user interactivity, and which is considered to be not used by power options).

  • Crackle M4800 Audio when the sound is played (if no sound has been played for a while)

    I have a new DELL Precision M4800 running Windows 7.

    There is a distinct noise pop crackle that occurs when the sound is played (if no sound has been played for a while.)

    If the laptop is audio playback currently it looks good, but if the laptop is quiet for a while and then something like an e-mail notification is available, crack/pop noise happens as the driver/speaker is trying to wake up.

    The problem occurs with the laptop connected and detached.

    -Edit

    The solution for me was provided by pknb below.

    Reference Dell Open Audio in the control panel. Go to advanced, energy management. Disable the option to disable audio devices.

    I do not have the Audio from Dell driver installed - and it seems that maybe the default setting is that the speakers put in 'sleep' in the context of a power saving mode. Looking at my description above I even referenced at the time of the issue seemed to be that the speaker was not long in 'waking '. In any case after you change this setting the problem now seems to be resolved.

There is a sound icon above the keyboard that looks like it is not if this could be the problem? If yes how to do it turn on?

    Hi Robin,

    1. it worked before?

    2. are you aware of changes to the computer before the show?

    3. you use WebEx with product Cisco meeting place or alone?

    4. how to access pre-recorded videos on WebEx?

    Hello

    1. which version of the windows operating system is installed in the computer?

    2. have you made any changes to the computer?

    Method 1:

    If you use windows vista and windows 7, I suggest you perform the clean boot and check.

    Place the computer in a clean boot state, then check if it helps. You can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    Sure mate:

    Copy this http://contek.com.do/ExampleAdobeSoundChannel.zip links and paste it into your browser, unzip the zip file and you can play the swf file to see the desired effect, the included FLA Source file, frame 15 actionscripts.

    Also note the library to see the class that I applied to the sound.

  • Need the sound to play on imported into the second swf with loadMovie swf

    I have a movie of parent with a couple of movieclips placeholder in this regard. I use the loadMovie to load 2 separate swf on the spaces reserved for execution:

    a swf contains the sound, which I initialize it using the following:

    sounds = new Object();
    sounds.reelSpin1L = new Sound();
    sounds.reelSpin1L.attachSound ("reelSpin1L.wav");

    now, I also wrote a function inside this same swf, which I want to call from a second swf file, which reads:
    function playReelSpin() {}
    sounds.reelSpin1L.start (0, 99);
    trace ("play music ReelSpin!");
    }
    trace ("the sound played");

    Now when I call the function from the other swf when running, I see the trace on the output window message, but I don't hear the sound!

    The weird part is, when I run the first swf that I've initialized the sound and call the function, it works very well.

    In conclusion, so I need to know why the sound won't play on a swf that was loaded into another swf when running.

    I appreciate any help you can provide.

    If I'm not wrong, its volume will set the system volume. So, it does not depend on "audio files". I think so...

  • How can I add a .wav to a page so the sound is played when the page loads?

    Can someone tell me how to add sound to a page? I have a .wav file, I would like to use and play during the loading of the page.

    Thank you!

    You can integrate it as a media object. Quick web search has this:

    Integrate Audio and video in HTML 5 Pages - Webmonkey

    It is not the most brilliant ideas, however. This stuff tends to be massively annoying and put off users rather than attract them. as a minor, convert the file at least in a file compressed in MP3 or OGG to reduce the use of bandwidth and of the size of the files.

    Hi oem7110,

    · Why you want to create a shortcut to enable or disable an audio device from Device Manager?

    You will be able to create the shortcut to Device Manager but no shortcut to enable/disable a device in Device Manager:

    a. right-click on the space empty where you want to create a shortcut

    b. click the shortcut

    c. in the type of space empty in devmgmt.msc

    d. click Next and follow the instructions in the wizard.

    THE FOLLOWING IS a MESSAGE I GET WHEN TRYING TO DOWNLOAD FILES: "Windows Media Player cannot play this file because there is a problem with the audio device.  "It might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it can be used by another program, or it might is not working properly.  What "audio device" are talking about?

    3. what version of Media Player do you use?
