  My keyboard and trackpad on my Compaq Presario CQ60 laptop do not react and do not have external devices to see if it is an internal matter.   If you are referring to the SMU 64 bit file that I have attached, everything that you do with, i.e. download and uncompress the latter in his file.

  You do not do anything with the files in the folder.  There is no exe file to launch.

  You navigate to the folder that you have unpacked from the coprocessor in Device Manager device by clicking the coprocessor, click the driver tab, and then click Update driver, click Browse my computer for driver software option, navigate to the folder of the driver EMS that you unzipped.

  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.

  Restart the PC.
