Comparison of the AP for site survey

Hi guys,.

Don't know if this is a repost, haven't seen my old post go up again...

I had to do a site survey in the coming months, and I was wondering what is the difference in making the survey with a different access point which must be installed. When I say different, its not going to be a too different AP!

The client goes with of 1242 once the investigation is complete, but I 1231 and 1130's use to the investigation.

I looked at records and didn't see too much difference between the 3 models, when using standard antennas, they will use in the end.

Would that be acceptable?

Thanks in advance

Mike

For a simple field measurement, everything boils down to three things; the antenna, the output of the transmitter and the receiver sensitivity and selectivity.

Of the three, most likely to be Variant are the receiver... especially because the radio components may vary and be better (yay technology!) or worse (f ' n beancounters do things cheaper construction).

Sensitivity improved without improving the selectivity would be a bad thing (like having a great amplifier open... noise gets amplified too). Selectivity is the ability of a receiver to discern the desired signal and interfering noise-type spectrum which also includes other issuers.

As long as these three essential characteristics are substantially similar, the results of the investigation of the site will be substantially similar.

Even if the features are not the same, if you know what they are, you can calculate the compensation, adjust the equipment or add additional "fudge factor."

IMO, given the State of the hardware of today, if the antennas are the same (type and substantially similar Smith maps - radiation diagrams), you will get a valid poll.

Good luck

  • Why the latest version has removed the padlock for sites that require a login?

It takes too much time on the high speed cable, to log my banking online. My body's response was that the latest version of Firefox had removed the icon of the lock for sites that require a connection. I want to know why it was deleted.

The padlock shows only that there is a secure connection and does not guarantee that you are connected to the right server. So you could always be connected to the wrong server if you make a typing mistake in the URL and someone said that mistyped the URL. The lock feature has been replaced by the identity button of the Site on the left end of the address bar (address).

This has actually existed since Firefox 3.0

Previously, when I chose "Bookmarks" from the menu of Firefox, the sites appearing usually had an icon or logo in front of the name of the site. Now, it's just a square white or white.

  • Why is able to save and update the passwords for sites other than those of Blackboard FF?

I am able to save and update passwords on other sites, but not on the Blackboard learn for my University. They force us to change our pw is from time to time, and I think I noticed it after that Blackboard did some updates to their site. It will always load autofill with my old account and password, but not update it. I deleted the password stored and tried to get FF to remember once again on my laptop, but it has not yet asked to save him. I'm guessing that there is a new code or a script for the journal in the procedure? Is there a manual way to enter and update the credentials stored?

Hello, sites can specify that passwords should not be stored (however I do know that if this is the case on the page you are having problems with, since you did not specify which University it affects). as a way to get around this, you can use an addon like this: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/remember-passwords

  • To give my e-mail address and the password for sites engine job search?

General question: is it a bad idea to give both my email address AND my password for job search web sites like Jobing.com, Monster.com, more recently PhoenixJobs.com? Why they need my password and force me to make sure that 'cookies' are enabled?

It makes me nervous. Should I be?

    Please notify.

    Thank you, John Van Fleet

Job sites don't ask you your password by e-mail. They ask you a password which can be new or old. You can use the same password everywhere or have different passwords for different sites, which is recommended. You shouldn't be nervous but cause they can't really see your password.  If this post answers your question, click mark as answer .

  • Design options for the site survey

I'm looking to set up a vote on a site section. The results of this survey will be displayed on a separate page, unprecedented for the customer.

    2 questions:

    (a) srite got responses from the survey in a PHP file and my results out of this base file page?

    (b) it would be slower and more effective approach?

Record server behavior insert to insert voting poll in the database, and then use the query to display the results. No hand-holding, with examples of code sorry but you should have enough to go. Basically to have a DB configuration with auto-increment id, vote_id, user_ip, answer_1, answer_2, answer3 etc, then having insert record SB to insert data in the database. After that, use a query (recordset) to get the results and display on the page. You will need to use a little math php if you want to display the percentages of votes, etc., but this is the basic idea. http://PHP.NET has much info and http://mysql.com is also an informative site. user_ip is in the comic book to prevent users to vote several times from the same IP address, or you could use via the session variable user_id and don't allow users to record in the opportunity to vote to restrict logged users to be able to vote more than once in a poll.

NB: I agree with the above response to Matthew.  I'll add a couple of my thoughts for what it's worth.

Pearson VIEW have a FAQ about this here:

    http://pearsonvue.com/Microsoft/ms_pvue_transition_faqs.PDF

In general, if a major player moves between Prometric to Pearson VIEW then some testing centers can convert from Prometric to Pearson VIEW or some that feed both can move to some workstations based on demand.

I think it's all, or at least in part on security additional Pearson VIEW offers in comparison to the Prometric.  This is a big reason why Oracle spent previously and why pilot possible for microsoft to spend now.  This is certainly the case some test are additional security requirements of Pearson VIEW too much pain and went to Prometric only.  And if they do not attract the required candidate numbers for Pearson VIEW it not worth their offer.  But of course if there are more candidates Pearson VIEW in France via Microsoft there is more motivation for a center to provide Pearson VIEW; but their may be a shift in what is happening until it takes.

If there is not one close to you and you think that their should be a sufficient demand in your area directly contacting Pearson VIEW attempt.  (I'm not such Microsoft have a clone of the "Brandye" never useful supportive on Pearson VIEW if there is a gap in the town of wholesale).  Probably a 30 mile drive is generally acceptable... If it could be 25 min for some and 2.5 hours to others.  Some Aussie and others can talk in terms of hundreds of miles...

If you keep an eye through the first part of the programming of examination, you should be able to get a feel to determine when exams are available in your local test centers and how long you "usually" to book in advance.   There is generally little trouble, but if targeting the end of a Beta of Oracle or committed to one particular to get the review reserved at first just in case there are any other circumstances which could cause a spike in other programs of certification on the test center decides to a blackout temporary for some reason any (some colleges and other companies may have times when they will not offer reviews).

In any case, these are some of my thoughts.
