  I am reinstalling my software licenses Adobe CS3 Master Collection student that my Mac crashed and I have to reinstall. I have a proof of purchase and serial number; However, I feel that I could be missing a disk. I've not used in 5 years. At the opening, I noticed I asked 1-4, Adobe OnLocation, video and content workshop. Is it supposed to be a 5 request? If so, how can I get it? How many drives are supposed to be there?

  My security containing all my installation discs for Mac OS for CS3 Master Collection and CS6 Design & Web Premium Upgrade was stolen last week... I'm working on re-download CS6 upgrade now, but when I try to download the CS3 Master Collection, I get a 404 error with the message:

  In addition, are criminals who have stolen this software (as well as all my other identity information) able to re - register this software, mine make inert? From what I gathered, it seems that they are not able to do something with the series unless I them unsubscribe from my current computer, but I wanted to be sure.

• Advice on books for learning CS3 Master Collection

  I tried to learn as much as I can of tutorials and just concepts from around the web.  I understand that I will, but think a book or two could help me as well?  I have several sites that I visit from time to time, I don't need help on that front.  Can someone give me some advice on what I should buy the literature?  I have the CS3 Master collection, and I hope to learn Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Dreamweaver and perhaps other programs related to web design.  I heard that the bible series is quite good, but since I'm still considered new I don't really know where to start.  And do not know if this is the place to ask, but as much web design is concerned, I also get a book for coding?

  Sorry if this is a topic that is requested every five seconds, but I looked around, as much as I could and it was literally my last option.  And in case anyone was wondering, I ask in this forum, because whenever I go in one program I usually end up in Photoshop, so I guess that those who know Photoshop, know as some of the other programs, also I don't really see a forum better suited to my question.  Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

  You'd better to buy individual books for each application.

  Some books try to have an overview of several different applications, but they only give the strict amount of information about each of them and are basically useless.

  Books like the Bible of series are extremely large (Photoshop CS3 more than 1,200 pages), but do not assume that more is automatically better.

  I think they do, some of them just to impress people looking for a book of instruction at their local bookstore.

  The Bible and a few other books include a picture CD and give instructions step by step using the provided images.

  But they do not really explain how procedures work and why you would probably using this procedure rather than another.

  They said basically that, now this, something else, etc.

  The series by Peachpit Press Quick Start Guide distributed with the intructions of step by step hand holding.

  He explains how and why to do things and has screenshots on every page to display menus and tools, as well as the de facto procedures using Photoshop.

  Only Quick Start books give complete information and are usually much more affordable, which is useful if you buy several books for different applications.

  Peachpit Press has also another series of books, their series of real world. These are bigger books but without the CD, etc.

  Over the past 20 years, I had a lot of different books, but in my opinion, Peachpit Books are the best of the bunch. Your mileage may vary.

  CS3 is old enough, I guess you're looking at Amazon or other sellers online. You might even be able to get a reduced price used books through Amazon resellers.

  Last week my hard drive crashed and I had to reinstall all my software that took me over a week! Unlike all other software manufacturer's Web site, I visited adobe seems to have no Portal download for old products! I guess they must be there somewhere, but I don't know where.

  Not only I would like to know how to find these updates because the automatic update feature no longer works and the original packaging included many bugs which have been fixed in these updates - but I would suggest that Adobe are in line with the rest of the software world and do this kind of thing easy to find. Accordingly does not make this easy - instead of doing the work I would be - I'm spending time on the phone, in chat rooms and on this forum all because I fell on one of the original bugs this morning (the function of indexation in In Design v5.0)

  I know now that Adobe only supports their current version and the other - so if you are a user of CS4 you should probably Archives what updates you have installed because once the fate CS6 - you'll go through the same thing I am.

  It seems that we have updated all the way back at the origin of Creative Suite.  Updates of Creative Suite 3 are to halfway to the bottom of the page.

  I got the CS4 and CS5 Master Collection installed on my Macbook Pro and Mac Pro. I have recently reinstalled the operating system and do not disable the software before I did. How to do this, so I can reinstall the software? The serial number of the software think that I have already installed the software, because it has not been disabled, but just trying to reinstall on the same computers since I wiped the hard drive.

  If you have problems to reactivate your software and have no way to disable its previous installations, while the only way to do it is to contact Adobe customer service / technical support, which, with luck, can work on it at their end.

• Try to install CS3 Master Collection on MacBook Pro - but says he is in conflict

  Reedology did you transfer/migration/copy the apps or settings for the MacBook Pro newly acquired?

  I would recommend running available uninstall programs located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder.  Once you have ran that uninstalling programs then please use the CC cleaning tool to ensure complete removal.  You can find instructions and the download to use the CC cleaning tool to resolve installation problems. • CS3 Master Collection Disc 2 fails to install

  For the last year and a half, my laptop has had problems.  I can't just go from Vista to Windows 7 without doing a clean install because Windows Update, Security Essentials, Defender, indexing and other stop working when I make the jump to the larger HD and I need.  With this issue, Windows 7 (or 8) failure of the upgrade (probably due to a bad hard drive driver, but I have updated all drivers).

  This means that I have no choice but to do a fresh install ("clean").  The only thing is that my disk 2 Adobe Creative Suite 3 Master Collection disk 2 request fails.  After inseting the disk (as quickly), the progress bar starts and then the installation fails.

  I tried again and again, and it always takes forever to start over because I have to go through disk 1, first.

  If I can just download the archive request 2 workaround I can install other programs of the disc, but I don't see any archive older versions of the software.

  I know that it installed and running on Windows 8 (without Acrobat), but for some reason fails it install in Windows 7.  I tried to clean the disc, of course.

  The only reason why I have a computer is to run this series of programs.  As an artist, the PC has no other use for me if I can't launch Photoshop/Illustrator/Dreamweaver/Prime, etc...

  I mentioned the cleanup tool because you are already done with disc 1 and you seem to have problems with disk 2. If this is the case, then there is no saying what debris has already been installed or partially installed by disc 1.
