Compatibility of motherboards for HP laptop.

Agin Hello my friends HP experienced!

At that time, I have a question on 2 laptops. First of all, I have a HP DV9910 us. It had Vista, which has been upgraded to win. 7. now, I had posted this question before, on the noise problem, it works well, however, there is no sound. Copy of any part, and I did the "uninstall & re-install" the drivers needed. Nothing has worked.

Popular opinion is that the audio portion of the motherboard is N/G. Now, I bought a HP DV 9812, with the same elements. They are both: stalk AMD X 2 64 @ 2.0 processors. Clauses 1, I just bought, is LCD in the section of the upper compartment. But the seller says it works fine on an external display connected to it. Starts and loads Windows.

So, I guess my question is: motherboards will be compatibile? Did have the same configuration. I will only switch on the motherboards each. Will this be OK? I'm glad to hear opinions!

Thanks for your time people!

TFL

Should be compatible. Technically, they are all part of the range of models dv9700z. Worst case we're 'defeatured' and the other 'full' which could mean that you have a port on the chassis that has no material on the card (hole) or you have something on the Board that is blocked by the case and you use a dremel tool to open a hole in the case. Might be a stupid question but why swap motherboards? Simply hover over the dv9910 to the dv9812 chassis (body of the screen) display and let the motherboard in place? Still not an easy task, but I have disassembled some dv9000s and would like to avoid trying to remove the motherboard. Big job. Many subsets and water going in all directions.

By the way I would check myself (i.e. specifications of two units) but the two model numbers times need the last 2 letters to find the correct specifications and that you don't give it to the dv9812.

  • Pavilion TS 15n-070sa: more fast motherboard for HP Pavilion TS 15n-070sa

Product name: HP Pavilion TS 15n-070sa

    Product number: E7G63EA

OS: Windows 10 (primary), Kali Linux Sana (2.0)

    Recent hardware changes: None

    Problem:

Recently, I decided to upgrade my Pavilion TS 15n-070sa processor. However, I took soon a problem after having disassembled my hard drive, due to the fact the processor is soldered to the Board rather than just locked to it. Then, I got a glance in the maintenance and service guide, which made me think that the other portable Pavilion TS 15 could have the same shape of the investment just (perhaps) with a better processor and motherboard. However, I am still not sure of the fact that last and that's why I came here to ask where I could get a replacement and a better motherboard for my laptop.

It would be the best motherboard:

  • is the GPU of NVIDIA chip on the motherboard for HP Pavilion dv9420us

My HP Pavilion DV9420us just went 'all white' and now won't show anything.  It also keeps cycling on and outside.

I just read that a class action has been filed last year (2010) against NVIDIA on GPU chipset.  It's time to add my complaint to the trial.

So, as my laptop is 'dead' anyway, I want to replace the GPU NVIDA myself.  I know that it is on a 'table', so I have to replace the Board on what it is.

My questions are: is this on the motherboard? or on a separate Panel? When I opened the laptop, the chip is identified as "NVIDIA" blah, blah, blah?

I have built office machines and have replaced a video screen on another laptop, so I am familiar with the "inner".

Just like get some info before I try this.

I have a device to get "dead" files on HARD drive, but when I looked at the pins of the connector on the HARD drive (2), they are 90 ° to the HD and separated, very different from a 'normal' laptop HD where the stems come out all right.

I found a place on the WEB that has a motherboard for my laptop, about $165.

    Any info will be appreciated.

    Thank you for your time.

    Hello:

Here is the link to the service manual for your laptop.  You will need to replace the mother board to replace the video card. See Chapter 5 for removal and replacement procedures.

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c01311536.PDF

I'm sure it's a standard SATA HDD and you just have to remove the adapter in.

In any case, Chapter 5 provides procedures for withdrawal and replacement for that too.

  • Compatibility computer replacement for HP G50-112NR laptop screen

Then my son broke the screen of the laptop on my G50-112NR laptop and now I need a new.

I learn by HP that I need the screen Bright View (BV) 15.4 inch WXGA + widescreen. eBay, as I found it, has this form: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HP-LCD-15-4-INCH-WXGA-WIDESCREEN-Part-432298-001-/350473798785. This screen is compatible - I mean, it's HP, 15.4-inch, WXGA, so it should work, Yes?

I know that this screen I found on eBay is a WXGA to a lower resolution on the original WXGA +, but WXGA screens + are also prohibitively expensive for me. They begin to $130, which is probably more than half of the value of my laptop. I don't mean to upgrade a newer HP laptop yet, but I'll probably a year and a half, so I don't want the screen to be such a money-sink for a PC I will retire so early.

Thanks in advance for any response.

    Hello

Displays only compatible HP sells for your laptop is models Bright View 15.4 inch WXGA + widescreen. You can check that by using the link to the part of the order in theInternet portal of support for your l. Any other screen display is not guaranteed to be compatible.

The problem with the screen in the link you provided is that the equipment that connects to the laptop could also be different. It's a show-stopper for you. You need to have the cabinets, hardware and compatible connectors.  Yes, the screens vary. They are not all created to be the same.

    Kind regards

  • HP dv6 7040tx: compatibility mSATA for my laptop

    Hello

is it my computer laptop support mSATA SSD? I intend to add an SSD for my laptop. I have 2 options:

    1. Add an mSATA ssd

    2. replace the current HDD with SSD normal and add the disk using Caddy.

I don't know if my phone is compatible mSATA SSD. Can I add it to my laptop?

The features of my computer: HP dv6 7040tx

In the user's guide, it was provided that it supports 16 GB mSATA. I don't know if I can add 250 GB mSATA.

    Thank you

It supports an mSATA WSSD but not quite in the way you think. Your laptop uses the first generation of hardware using the mSATA. The mSATA was used only as a "cache" which accelerates a regular mechanical hard drive, using the Intel Rapid Storage technology. These are usually not larger than 32 gigs and when activated, create links with the mechanical drive in a RAID array type. The cache contains startup and commonly accessed files program files and speed up the process a bit. It's just not as good as a pure SSD for sustained Read and write operations. If a normal hard drive 2.5 inch is present in the main Bay SATA the WSSD cannot be the boot drive.

The configuration of your best and fastest is to place a 2.5 inch SATA SSD in the main Bay, and then if you need storage use a shopping cart of DVD player. I don't really like these arrangements and given the price that SSDS descended a little a 1 to is actually a viable option and should be all the storage that anyone really needs. What with the cloud and all. And the mSATA drives are not faster than a 2.5 inch SATA SSD.

    Post back with more questions.

  • replacement screen for computer laptop dv6t - b 6, 00

I have a computer laptop dv6t - b 6, 00, product # QJ926AV.  Maintenance and Service Guide shows two difference replacement screens, the 665334-001 Brightview display and the anti-reflective screen of 665335-001.  That it would be OK for my laptop?

Here is the service manual that you already have:

    Manual

See page 30. The problem is that the "anti-Glare" is a higher resolution screen and also needs different data cable from the motherboard to the screen. You can install a screen on any system dv6t - b 6, 00 but you also need the correct cable and a cable replacement makes it a little more difficult.

The second problem is that you have a generic model number that designates a custom order machine in order to have a type of display based on the model number.

Whenever you replace a laptop screen the ONLY way to serve to have replaced dozens or even hundreds, is to remove the Panel before you order a replacement. Buy the screen based on the manufacturer designation of screen at the rear of the Panel not the model number of the laptop. In this way: 1. you are sure to double dog of compatibility; and, 2. You can shop a variety of panels and get the best possible price.

  • Compatible motherboards for Satellite C855

    Hello

I own a Toshiba Satellite C855 - 12K, I've owned for about 3 years, but 2 weeks ago I accidentally damaged the motherboard, while I was cleaning the computer, at first I thought it was the map screen or video that is broken, because it was weird (cutting, 20 seconds after loading desktop, colorful pixel, thin lines across the entire screen) but after 5 times of commissioning , disabling display, I left alone.
The next day it would not start at all, so I sent it to a really good computer technician, who called me the next day, saying that the motherboard is dead, and that he needs a new.

When I was cleaning it, I watched a video on youtube, which shows how to open Toshiba Satellite C855-12J or something, (not the C855 - 12K, I) but I noticed that the chassis is the same, the size of the motherboard is the same. That's why I'd love to not put a motherboard C855 - 12K in my C855 - 12K, but something more powerful, with more performance, because I want to play newer games, but I don't want to sell my C855 and buy a new computer, I would upgrade this computer instead.

So, there are motherboards for C855, who have a better CPU / GPU that C855 - 12 K, if there are, could you show me a list of computers that come with them? Maybe there are motherboards from other computers Toshiba, that match?

    Thanks in advance.

Because of the design specific notebooks are specific products and, in general, some radical physical upgrades are not possible. Each hardware platform has some cooling system designed for optimal to protect equipment.

Each laptop model also has specific design and different ports placed at different locations.
For example, Satellite C855 was offered with 6 different hardware platforms. With other words, with 6 different motherboards that may have different hardware (CPU, GPU, WLAN, BT) but also other ports on the left and right.

Each authorized Toshiba, but also independent repair shops for laptop, will exchange defective motherboard with the same motherboard model. Some little compatible mothers are not available.

Motherboard is very expensive, so you need to check the price and see if it's worth paying a lot of money to get it repaired. Four years ago my A300 was electro shock by connecting the external USB device. The repair was extremely expensive, so I sold it on eBay for spares and bought again a Satellite P500.

  • Where can I buy a motherboard for Satellite 3000 514?

I need to replace the card mother (?), mother (?) on my Toshiba Satellite S3000-514.

Question: Where can I go to buy the motherboard?

Question 2: How much in pounds sterling can I expect to pay?

    Thank you.

    Hello

I found this site with the motherboard for a Satellite 3000 series but it seems that the Satellite 3000 514 is not listed.
    http://www.sparepartswarehouse.com/Toshiba, Laptop, K000816560.aspx,

I m not 100% sure, but I think that the 3000 series was delivered with the same motherboard.
But before you buy anything, you should ask Toshiba authorized service partner for a more details. Guys should be able to also order a compatible Board directly from Toshiba.

I think you're on the good side, if you ask the opinion of the service provider.

But as you can see the motherboard is expensive and eventually you might find a second-hand surfboard.
