Compatibility of the processor and the possible improvements on the motherboard Μatx-RS880-H.

Desktop HP Pavilion HPE h8-1050z CTO with Windows 7 64 bit
Processor with six cores AMD Phenom II X 6 1065T

8 GB DDR3 1333 MHz SDRAM

My PC has a motherboard Μatx-RS880-H (Aloe).  I'm interested in upgrading my processor and was looking in the Phenom II X 6 1100t.  As far as I know that I would have no problem to do so.  The problem is that now that the AMD FX processors have been introduced, it seems retailers are gradually the already and those who remain have seen an increase in the price that I am not very willing to pay.  I am now looking into the processor AMD FX 6100 (top six) which, like the 1100T, as short as 3.3 Ghz. What I want to know is whether this FX series processor is compatible with my motherboard?  I've done searches, it appears.  Moreover, if I wanted more speed, could not H-RS880-Μatx manage all the options processor 8 cores FX?  Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

It seems that the fx series is all AM3 +, and I believe the motherboard Μatx-RS880-H (Aloe) is only an AM3. Which would mean it is not compatible.

  • vSAN on vSphere 5.5 - question on the compatibility of the motherboard

    Good afternoon, colleagues.

There is a server with motherboards Intel S2600GZ, who is in the list of compatibility with VMware in the ' systems / servers.

I will be sure in advance that it will work on vSAN if the external RAID should not be used (the disks connection will be directly on the motherboard)? Key word 'S2600GZ' or 'C602"section vSAN not looking for anything and he scares...

Or, for example, take still - some Adaptek - external RAID, in the compatibility list is present, and in this vSAN manufacturer does not even. This means that any vSAN Adaptek will not work?

The S2600GZ is on the HCL vSphere: link , you should be good there.  In regards to the vSAN, there are only three pieces of equipment in the HCL.  I/o Controller, hard drives and SSDS.  The team of the S2600GZ with the elements of vSAN HCL and it should be a supported configuration.  Note, support does not mean suitable for all workloads.  If it's a heavy load of work make sure you get the longer end I/O controller, HDD and SSD.  Stock of i/o Controller queue depth and support cross or not.  By the way you can share hot a disk failure.  Whether RAID 0 you have to down the host, replace the drive and re - create RAID 0.  For the SSD, see the class of performance AND endurance class.  Hard drives are pretty simple.  Sooner the better.  The more the better.  SAS over SATA.  Etc...  Hope this helps, Zach.

  • Update the BIOS of motherboard ΜATX-RS880-H

Hello, I'm trying to update the bios for this card (H-RS880-ΜATX) in my HP Pavilion.

I am running windows 8.1 (probably a problem)

My current BIOS version is 5.03 (May 2009)

I found the version 6.11 of 2012 on the hp Web site: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?cc=uk&lc=en&softwareitem=cp-106532-1

I also found version 6.09 from 2013 (strange?) also on the hp Web site: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?cc=uk&lc=en&softwareitem=pv-88054-2

Unfortunately smoker of them running on my machine. "Incorrect BIOS for your system (253)", which makes little or no sense.

    Three questions:
A: what is the last pilot?
B: how to use this site to find a list of all THE drivers for a specific piece of hardware?
    C: why I can't install a driver for a verified product?

    Thank you.

Support page is here. No update of the BIOS.

    Hello Netbuckler,

I understand that you are interested in upgrading the processor and graphics card on your laptop, is that correct? I will try and provide you with information that needed to get there.

The processor can be improved in this particular notebook. If you go to page 91 in the maintenance manual , it will give you a list of processors and it will show you the steps to do it yourself. I don't know what your current status of security with this laptop, but if you are still covered the upgrade of the processor warranty this I just want you to be aware.

Now and then when you're dealing with the graphics card it is soldered to the motherboard if you will not be able to update. If you really want to improve the graphics, as you go through the motherboard. There is a list of those on page 81 in the owner's manual as well.

    Thanks, Pete

    Hi Pete!

I n t have good news for you...
The CPU can theoretically but improved but Toshiba doesn't support this. The point is that the BIOS maybe couldn't recognize the new processor.
In addition the graphics chip can t be updated because it s soldered onto the motherboard.

  • Pavilion p6-2133w: upgrade Windows 10 Pro activation after replacing the processor and motherboard

I upgraded a Pavilion P6 W10 Pro in September. Everything was going well until the motherboard and processor failed. When I replaced the hardware I am prompted to activate Windows - I have the product key for Windows 7 Home Prem OA office machine that does not work for W10 Pro. I don't know how W10 Pro ran six months and support MS insists I do decline to W10. Two questions.

1 how W10 differ from the W10 Pro?
    2. How is this W10 Pro could have been improved in Windows 7 Home Prem OA? Looks like a decoy on the BONE.

    Greetings,

The replacement of the mother/CPU card can be extra monkey wrench in this situation.

You cannot use a key of Win 7 Home on Win 10 Pro.

You will need to install Win 10 and then move on to Win 10 Pro. Win 10 going to Win 10 percent if you had an activated copy of win 10 Pro.

    1. other features such as BitLocker and domain join.

    2. I have no idea how you've gone from Win 7 Home win 10 Pro. Were you a BETA-Tester (Windows Insider program)? I upgraded from Win 7 to win 10 Pro, because I was a BETA-Tester,

I just did a clean install of Windows 10 Pro but ignored the input of the product key. Windows activated, but not right away.

All I need to know is that can I put RAM and CPU processor without voiding the warranty

    Hey,.

If you upgrade the CPU, you will cancel the warranty because this upgrade is not supported from Toshiba.
In addition, I put t understand why you buy a laptop, and then you think of some hardware upgrades. In your case, I'd rather bought a laptop with faster processor and more RAM.

Is it useful to upgrade (i.e. it would improve windows performance index)?

Is it easy to replace the motherboard?  All the specialty tools?

Thanks in advance for your help.

The dv7 series is a challenge even for experienced laptop technicians. There are several boards of sup and ribbon cables going in all directions. The T9800 will agree and will work on any one of the motherboards in the manual that you apparently (let me know if not) and will greatly increase the WEI on the processor. She is always equivalent to most of the i3 processors.  The HD 4650 is going to be a pretty big improvement on the HD 4530. But that's like saying I'd rather have a 1964 Chevrolet as a 1953 Chevrolet... nor is technologically current as for video cards go. Current demanding games will exceed the 4650's powers.

    http://gpuboss.com/GPUs/Mobility-Radeon-HD-4650-vs-Mobility-Radeon-HD-4530

I checked partsurfer for two motherboards that you list and I checked the manual. There is widespread confusion. PartSurfer lists the jury 294 as a "UMA" or integrated graphics subsystem, and lists the 293 Commission that the use of dual core AMD processors. Something is not good and frankly I would waive the exchange of motherboard, but if you really want to try let me know and I'll try to clear up the confusion.

    A T9800 is about $35.

  • HP laptop - 15-r150sa (ENERG: I want to upgrade the processor and the RAM of my laptop HP)

I have a requirement for a high quality laptop computer.  I want to at least 16 GB of RAM and Intel i7 processor. Can I improve/replace the newly purchased on my laptop i5 to i7 processor and 6 GB to 16 GB RAM?

    Emergency response please.

The processor is part of the motherboard. To get a faster processor, it requires the replacement of the whole motherboard.

Processor Intel Core i7-5500U and 2 GB cards separate graphics 795814-501

Above is the part number. This part is new and rare and can only be in HP. At this moment, they are not available. I did a complete search on the internet and it does not appear in one of the parts houses so likely you will have to wait a few months for the part joining the supply chain. When it doesn't the price will shock you. As at least $300US, maybe more.

The RAM is available anywhere. Like this:

    http://www.eBay.co.UK/ITM/2x-8gb-16GB-DDR3L-1600-MHz-RAM-memory-HP-mobile-Workstat-Zbook-17-PC3L-12800S-/191493216820?PT=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c95e29a34

Upgrade memory requires the removal of the motherboard so it would be foolish to do until you are ready to do all the work.

May I ask why if you need a super-powerful laptop just purchased a kind of average lower of the spectrum? It's always much more expensive try to upgrade a cheap laptop computer than to just buy a high-end establishment at first. It would probably be you will have to return or to sell your laptop and buy a new one with the features you need.

  • We have SQL Server 2005 cluster (3 node cluster), and if we improve this nodes to 2008 R2, the databases associated with the named instance can stay to the version of SQL Server 2005?

    original title: SQL Server 2008

We have SQL Server 2005 cluster (3 node cluster) and if we improve this nodes to 2008 R2, can the databases associated with the named instance remain to the version of SQL Server 2005, I seem to disagree with this notion, but still need to validation of the pro.

One way I can think of to achieve this scenario changes the compatibility level to SQL Server 2005 when the node has been upgraded to SQL Server 2008, so we can upgrade databases to SQL 2008 as and when the vendors provide support for this version.

  • Will be the new processor and card motherboard BIOS OEM Retail Version work?

    HI :)

I put upgraded my CPU to an AMD X 4 945.  My motherboard requires a BIOS update to accept the new processor.  I have a commercial version of OEM of Vista 32 installed and have the DVD to reinstall from.  Will I be possible to reactivate the operating system with the new processor and the new installed BIOS?  I know that the new motherboards are a new PC and so the OEM license is inavalidated, but it is just the CPU and the motherboard BIOS so I'm not sure.

    Thanks for any help :)

There is no such thing as an OEM version of detail; There are retail or an OEM license.
