  I hope someone can help because I'm out of ideas how to solve my problem?

  I have a laptop Presario CQ61-214TU.  Upgrading to Windows 7 from Vista.

  I have a compaq presario CQ61-420US having similar problems below, except I have a black screen, fan flashing lights turns is the same (num lock and cap lock) but they Flash continuously every second or 2.  I tried the hard reset with the fix of ram, connect an external monitor, change the battery and the power adapter, nothing helps.   I had the same problem with my cq61. The key Win + B pressings has worked for me a lot for my greatest pleasure after a very frustrating night. I hope this helps others. My laptop has 4-1/2 years old and I am surprised by his longevity, because it was a special purchase of Wal-Mart.
