  As far as I know the Satellite Pro A100 comes with two screens:
  large display 15.4 TFT color display "(1280 x 800)
  large display CSVI 15.4 TFT color display "(1280 x 800)

  For example the satellite A100-602 uses a wide display 15.4 TFT color screen "(1280 x 800)."
  But uses Equium A100-195 15.4 "(1280 x 800) wide angle of view CSVI TFT color display."

  I have a laptop Satellite A100-306 and it worked very well. Yesterday, I plugged in a spotlight and watched the movie.

  Once I finished the movie I have turn it off and disconnected from the projector.
  After a few hours later, I tried to change my cell phone and found that the initial screen of charges until after there is nothing on the screen.

  I was able to go into the BIOS but couldn't go safe mode. I remember I used the key Fn and F5, but nothing comes so any help would be much appreciated.

  While the initial charge up screen I do not think that there is a problem on the screen or the graphics card the toshiba logo at startup.

  Hmm for me it seems that the display was set ONLY to an external display device (projector, screen, etc.) and, therefore, you are not capable of anything on the internal display of laptops.

  I think you need to connect an external monitor or projector to this laptop second and must try to set display settings default (Mobile only)

  The FN + F5 combination should help you.
  As far as I know the laptop replaces the output of the screen in the following order:

  * Internal display * * (CRT) screen external + internal screen * * (CRT) external display only * TV (s-video output) + internal screen * TV only (output s-video) *.

  So maybe you have chosen the last device (output only s-video)

• Defective screen on Equium A100-147

  I got my laptop about 3 years now and the screen seems pixelated when I move the screen back.

  To get the screen back to normal, I have to "agitation" everywhere. It's usually worse when the screen has been closed, and it seems to take more time to do it right back.
  What could be wrong? A loose connection? Y at - it a fix for this?

  looks like a wire cut down to me...

  to resolve this problem, replace the wires to the lcd screen.

• Error on blue screen on Equium A100-549

  I won a laptop facing a blue screen error every time she has been put in service. I was provided with the essential components and did a format using the recovery CD. Once it was full, I pulled out the as shown then clicked exit Recovery CD. The black window says complete format and the PC turns off. When I try to turn on an orange light flashes on one of the LEDS and the PC does not illuminate. Most of the text is in Chinese, while he was working too (the owner of Chinese).   From your description, I guess that the LED flashes all the time if the AC adapter is plugged in. Am I wrong?
  I think there is a hardware failure, and the LED provide a blink code.
  Unfortunately, I n t think you can solve this problem by yourself.
  In my opinion, a technician must check the laptop. Service guys are able to read the code and can find the fault.

  Recently bought this phone and im happy with it however,
  When you play games like world of warcraft 3D, from time to time I get screen failures, no true model, doesn't even have to build up or highly areas of Norway.
  I tried setting the lowest graphics options, tried to download the drivers updated, but still have the problem (it happens less with drivers toshiba than microsoft ones)
  When I first started all first the computer laptop Nvidia drivers in the list of installed programs, I noticed, I uninstalled them since it has a processor intel 945GM

  Everything else is fine, pace is smooth (for a laptop) and it works sweet as a nut with the exception of those annoying power failures bit

  You know, the Vista operating system needs much more resources than XP and Intel shared memory graphics card is not really designed to play the latest 3D games.

  Trying to find drivers for Equium A100 - 02L (PSAAQE-00P00KAV) on behalf of a friend.
  To be honest, who does not much chance of finding any where in or on websites of Toshiba!

  Reported problem is the error message indicating "igfx display driver recovered" to appear. Suspect that the problem lies with the graphic display so driver trying to find the latest version for this laptop. * If someone can tell me exact link so I can download I be grateful.*

  I personally can't find something for Equium A100 Series. All Toshiba seems to recognize A300 etc. I tried making via the serial number (47247514 (Q), but this is not also recognized by Toshiba. I know mobile is discontinued, but would be drivers expected to be for her.

  I bought an equium A100-027 and, because of my work, I want to use a personal OS XP - Pro, I bought the retailer 2006 Microsoft.
  The problem is that XP installs successfully, but I can't find the drivers on the Toshiba Download Page.
  The laptop TYPE is witch PSAAQE is not listed. I tried to use the drivers provided by other series A100 PSAAxxx but XP does not accept. I managed only with the Intel graphics driver... How can I do?
  I sent a mail to support Toshiba in France and they redirect me to the download page of drivers even DO NOT contain any driver for my laptop... (it does not appear there).
  It is mandatory for me to use XP - Pro, because we use it for industrial automation, so I can't use Vista! seriously, I bought a PC that do not work on XP?

  Hmm you have tested other drivers Equium A100 series but also check the Satellite A100 series pilots.
  The Equium A100 Satellite A100 and very similar specifications and possibly some drivers will also work on yours.

• Equium A100: Crisp & slows down sound while the use of CP's high

  When I play a cd/dvd, or extract the contents of cd for laptop, or whatever it is which includes the use of the D: drive, the sound is all distorted and crunchy and slows down. also, the CPU usage is very high, and it won't let me write anything on disks.

  This has happened a few months now, it was workin perfectly before hand and I've only had the phone since Christmas, so it is still under warranty. It's an equium A100 series.

  I've been looking around on the forums and found athread on a similar problem but on a laptop satellite, and which was resolved by a new drive being installed because the original was defective. the link to this thread is:

  Equium A100 is very similar to the Satellite A100. So maybe it's really a problem even as described in the other thread.

  But listen David, before you send the laptop and want to replace the HDD try first to reinstall the OS from the recovery CD!

  Try everything first format the whole HARD drive, erase the partitions and reinstall the OS.

  If this does not help, it would be wise to check, if the same thing would happen with the new HARD drive!

  I think you're talking about the BIOS password.
  This password can be set or removed in the BIOS and its type of protection.
  Without knowing this password you will not be able to boot Windows system

  Also it is not possible to remove this password if you know n t s the old password.
  Only the technician of the ASP (authorized service provider) would be able to bypass and remove this password

  So I see only one solution; local ASP contact and ask for help.

  Equium A100 - 02L screen colors all the green-yellow but it all displays properly in Mode without failure.

  Remove the previous one installed and restart the round. Then again install the downloaded one.

  A zoomed undemanded on my screen area display took my Equium A100-027 (Vista).
  I was not able to identify what actions mine trigger this, and the only way to get rid of it is to restart the computer.

  I have a Toshiba Equium A100-147. When I turn, I see as the light of the maximum but there is no display on the screen.
  I read on a previous thread on a similar model that this has been fixed by resetting the computer.
  I understand there is a possibility that there is a problem with the motherboard, but I remain optimistic that a manual-reset would work.

  Is someone can you please tell me how this can be done?

  You can try this procedure simple and short;

  -Remove the battery from the laptop
  -disconnect 3rd external devices and adapter
  -leave the laptop for about 20-30 min
  -then reconnect battery and AC adapter

  If the portable fuel after this procedure, then your have a serious hardware problem and only the ASP can help you.

  I don t want to make a statement on the possible faults, because it of always hard to say what's wrong exactly, but it looks a bit like a motherboard problem.

• Equium A100 - 027 Vista: the screen goes black for just 1 second

  I was wondering if anyone here can tell me what is the problem with my laptop. That's all new Toshiba Equium A100-027. Quite often, my screen will turn black for just a second, and then it will return to normal again.

  I changed my power settings, so it is not because of the screen laptop will. Most of the time, it's going to happen when I run the program in full-screen on real player, but it happens when I play mahjong titans which is included in microsoft vista.

  HM, just a small suggestion to check if you have a hardware related problem or some software:

  Connect your laptop to an external monitor and see if the problem still occurs.

  Hi, I recently bought a laptop A100-147 - accepted a view model that I had trouble getting one of them. On the beautiful screen, the screen resolution is 1024 x 768 - that it and 640 x 480 and 800 x 600 are available. This sounds awfully stretched.

  According to the description of the Equium A100-147 comes with color Wide XGA TFT 15.4 TruBrite display ". The standard resolution of this monitor is 1280 x 800. If you dot have this one please install graphic driver. You can find it on the download page of Toshiba under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com support & downloads.

  I can't imagine that it happens after the first start. You have preinstalled your own operating system?
