Complete catalog of Windows Update/perdu

So my computer upgraded to Windows 10 without my permission and it has impacted all. The worst is that my Lightroom Catalog has been shattered. He appears in a folder on my computer, but whenever I try to import (open catalogue) it gives me this message. My old catalogue was Lightroom 5 and the version on my computer is now Lightroom 5 as well, so I don't understand what is happening. But I had almost finished editing a wedding and I now have to completely restart if I can't solve this problem.Capture.PNG

The error message indicates that you have possibly changed photos in a trial version of LR6 which updates a copy of the catalog for use with LR6.

Try to re - open the catalog updated LR5 will give this message.

You'll still have an old "copy" of the catalogue which was used by LR5 if you search for it. Does not contain any images downloaded or develop the editing made to the catalog LR6, but it is still open in LR5.

  • They will continue to offer Windows updated for Windows 8?

I was wondering if MS will always have updates for Windows 8. I have not updated to 8.1 and have noticed that I didn't update for a month. Anyone know if they are to stop these completely updates?

    Thank you

In fact, this should answer your question, unless by updates, you're talking about something completely different from Windows updates?

If you look at the chart I posted, you can see updates for Windows 8 (NOT 8.1) are ending January 9, 2018. Updates to 8.1 are ending January 10, 2023.

    Kind regards

Original title: why are my updates not finishing on reboot?

I can't complete installation of important updates for my computer. I have Windows Vista. I tried to install the security update Cumulative January for IE8 (KB2482017) and update of security for Vista (KB2483185). When it ends with the installation it is said that he managed and restart my computer. During the reboot is when I have the problem. It starts up and updates are being installed, says 0% complete step 2 of 3 0% Complete - 54% complete then it starts to say that it's the return of the changes and updates has not installed correctly. I tried several times to Windows Update and also the Microsoft Download Center and still the same put on restart every time. Is it possible to fix this and get my updates? Any ideas?

I've updated Windows updates automatically every day, and it has always worked well.  However, since February 13, 2010, it seems stuck in a loop.  No error, it just shows continuously "Searching for Updates" for hours!  If I stop the laptop that I get the prompt it is install 3 3 0% complete and the machine finally turns off.  I checked for viruses, etc., using Norton.  I use Vista.  Any help with this sort would be very appreciated.

  • Windows 7 update says it is downloading files, but is always "0% complete" since August 2010 update attempt.

The system is Dell XPS 9000 with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit, less than a year, never had any problem update before August 10, 2010 update.  System was disconnected while I was away, started normally, when I got back 11/08/2010.  During the shutdown showed a normal notice of 15 records up-to-date with the usual "don't turn the computer" warning.  First three files updated, no problem. the fourth file in the 25% update complete message, he left for four hours, never has finished, remained at 25% full.  Have not been able to get 12 remaining files to download using the start of Windows Update.  Says it is downloading the files, but hangs at 0% complete, sometimes 15 percent complete, sometimes 32% full.  Tried to clean boot, etc., normal is fixation methods... no luck so far.  Been through forums, may have missed something.

Go to control panel-> system and security-> Windows Update and change to never check for updates (not recommended), and click ok.

now... to change the settings for Windows Update to install updates automatically (recommended) and click ok.

    Try it now...

  • Windows Update, firewall, Defender, Security Essentials completely broken

Hey guys. Been having a lot of problems with Windows 7 64-bit today. At first, I thought it was average PC problems, but it turns out (according to malwarebytes and security essentials) that I picked up some nasty viruses. Windows Update, windows firewall, security essentials real-time protection and a few other things all seem to be broken and does not boot. I tried everything under the Sun, it seems. Just recently, I scanned completely and removed the virus. Any help would be appreciated.  My virus:

My PC seems to be in a very fragile state right now. I have NO system (still friggin happens to me) points of restoration and one step before the removal of virus he told me my copy of windows was not authentic. This seems to have severily damaged my PC. Is there something I can do?

I think it started about two days ago, I had to install a driver stupid on my PC to my PSP. It was disabling driver signing verification. Last time I do this.
