Composed to retrieve phone number

I want to get the phone number that I composed, according to CallUpdated.

I found something on the roadmap of BlackBerry

https://developer.BlackBerry.com/Cascades/download/roadmap/

BlackBerry will launch the new TELEPHONY API as you can see on the road map. This will probably bring what you want. So hold on awhile, 10.2 will probably be the API, you need.

    Hi yuusaku,.

    Thanks for dropping by the forums!

    The telephone number through the TelephonyManager class would not be supported in the BlackBerry Runtime for Android applications by the documentation provided to during extraction: https://developer.blackberry.com/android/apisupport/unsupportedapi_blackberry10_hardware_features.ht...

  • Is is possible to retrieve a deleted phone number?

    I have an iPhone 6s, and I just got a robocall.  Without thinking, I deleted the number. Is it possible to retrieve this number? This number isn't in my contacts. This number never received before.

    I am afraid that you cannot retrieve this number if you don't him had not saved on your contacts.

  • Phone info of the device number differs from phone number

    The number which is located in the folder of device information into the Launcher has a different number than my cell phone number. How I found? Someone left me a voicemail so I pressed "1" to retrieve the message. However, my phone (Pixi) dialed a number that wasn't mine. How could it happen? I'm suspect that when my Pixi phone has been replaced at the Sprint store - it froze the second day and Palm support instructed me to return the unit for a new - they gave me a phone that had been used briefly by someone else (although the shop told me it was a new phone).

    So when the Sprint Store copied my data in the 'new' phone (which reproduces about 80 entries of contact), it doesn't have to change the phone number in the input of the unit. The only problem this causes is the speed dial, the call to voicemail. My real phone number appears in the outgoing calls and incoming calls reached my phone.

    I contacted the Palm and Sprint, and both have never run into this problem before. Then they tell me that I have to do a hard reset (groan). If - finally - my question: what happens to my data with a hard reset? I use CompanionLink to sync Contacts and calendar between Outlook and my google account - no problem here?

    What of my apps that I bought the app catalog?

    What of my entries to tasks, Memo and camera?

    What of my three E-mail accounts?

    What of my texts?

    You solved my problem! Thank you very much! I was going to pick up the phone to the service center of Sprint for the hard reset and restore process. After obtaining your response, I called Sprint and spoke with a person of advanced technical support. He played the reconfiguration of network and I now have my real phone number back on the phone. You save me a lot of time and effort - thank you again.

  • BlackBerry Z10 writing new Messages - Contacts combines a Mobile phone number, home

    When I chose to compose a text Message and select by a Contact who has multiple phone numbers stored, the phone selects the telephone number of the Contact homepage default rather than their Mobile phone number. I'm doing something wrong?

    I did a little experiment, created a group with 1 contact, send a text message to the group, sms went to the house number.

    I deleted then house number (which was at the top of the list) then added a new home field. After that the number of publishing house has yet shown on the top of the list, but sms now went to the Mobile number.

  • Inbound/outbound call phone number, phone logging listener?

    Yes. There is that a phone of object exists, there is an onCallUpdated signal. But how to retrieve the phone number?

    Another question - in BBOS has been object of PhoneLogListener. I can't find an alternative to new BB10. How to access phone log?

    You can access the sender of a signal by calling sender(), in your case it would be the class phone I guess.

  • Get the phone number of incoming calls

    Greetings!

    Yes! I read a lot about these subject through this forum, but no solution so far.

    We are trying to retrieve the number of incoming phone currently but ((callId) Phone.getCall or Phone.getActiveCall) are return null, so I'm not able to recover the number, getDisplayPhoneNumber().

    Implementation of the PhoneListener or the AbstractePhoneListener extension the result is the same, as expected.

    Our first objective is Blackberry 8900 v4.6.1.250 (Platform 4.2.0.113), so far without success.

    Does work for sorting?

    Thanks in advance!

    I use this method with success in all kinds of OS versions.

    I would say to start own thread, it may need to wait a little time, but generally a callincoming should already have a call in progress.

    4.6 on the returned string may contain invalid characters (such as '?'), look for these.

  • How to get the Pic of the address book Contact gave a phone number

    Hello

    How can I access the Blackberry address book and retrieve Contact's photo?

    I tried:

    String phoneNumber = "1234567890";
    Vector contactList = new Vector();
    contactList = Phone.getContactsByPhoneNumber(phoneNumber);

    except with a real number, of course. However, if I keep this code, I get an error saying ClassNotDefFoundError or something like that. on the line of Phone.getContactsByPhoneNumber () .

    Is there another way I can get the pic contact associated with a single address book contact?

    Later, I'll probably use this code to get the photo of contact:

    Contact contact = (Contact) contactList.elementAt(0);
    byte[] byteStream = contact.getBinary(Contact.PHOTO, Contact.ATTR_NONE);
    EncodedImage contactPic = EncodedImage.createEncodedImage(byteStream, 0, byteStream.length);

    So as you can see, I just need to get in contact for a specific contact record.

    Thanks for any help.

    If anyone is interested, he will get the peak of contact contact, based on the phone number. It assumes there is only one contact for this number, so if there is more than one, it will get the peak of contact for the last contact only, because the loop will overwrite the previous photos.

    BlackBerryContactList contactList = (BlackBerryContactList) PIM.getInstance().openPIMList(PIM.CONTACT_LIST, PIM.READ_WRITE);

    // Get a list of contacts that match the phone number (I only want last 8 digits only)
    Enumeration _enum = contactList.items(inputNumber.substring(inputNumber.length()-8),BlackBerryContact.TEL);

    while(_enum.hasMoreElements())
    {
        BlackBerryContact c = (BlackBerryContact)_enum.nextElement();
        if (c.countValues(BlackBerryContact.PHOTO) > 0)
        {
            byte[] photoEncoded = c.getBinary(BlackBerryContact.PHOTO, 0);
            byte[] photoDecoded = Base64InputStream.decode(photoEncoded, 0, photoEncoded.length);
            EncodedImage contactPic = EncodedImage.createEncodedImage(photoDecoded,0,photoDecoded.length);
            String picType = String.valueOf( contactPic.getImageType() );
            // If you want to store the photo as a HEX String
            String hexPic = byteArrayToHexString(photoDecoded)
        }
    }

  • Call the target than e-mail, Manager phone number

    Hello

    I don't know how to config my bar - descriptor.xml for my application being a target to invoke that manages e-mail address, phone number. I assume these are text/plain and action could be one of them or all:

    bb.action.SHARE
    bb.action.VIEW
    bb.action.OPEN

    Just want to say, then hold on a header/title/address of message in the hub, it should provide my application among target applications in the overflow menu that can handle the number of mail or telephone.

    Help, please.

    This is currently not possible. You can, however, leave the user sharing the message with your application. You must register your application, as shown below:

  • Cannot transmit the phone number to variable to call

    I know that this is probably something easy, but for the life of me I can't understand it.  I looked through dozens of messages here and experienced a lot, but in vain.  Here's what I'm trying to do.

    I have a button that, when clicked, pulls up the contact list and returns any input is selected by the user.  The number is then supposed to be stored in a variable called elsewhere in the application to make the call.

    Here is my code:

               protected boolean navigationClick(int status, int time) {

                try {
                    BlackBerryContactList contacts = (BlackBerryContactList)BlackBerryPIM.getInstance().openPIMList(BlackBerryPIM.CONTACT_LIST, BlackBerryPIM.READ_WRITE);
                    BlackBerryContact contact = (BlackBerryContact)contacts.choose();

                    String phonenumber1 = "";
                    int numValues = 0;
                    numValues = contact.countValues(BlackBerryContact.TEL);

                    for (int i = 0; i < numValues; i++) {
                        if (contact.getAttributes(BlackBerryContact.TEL, i) == BlackBerryContact.ATTR_MOBILE) {
                            phonenumber1 = contact.getString(BlackBerryContact.TEL, i);
                            break;
                        }
                    }

    This code used to shoot to the top of the list of contacts, an entry to retrieve and assign the number to a variable.  (which is obviously "phonenumber1")

    Then I have the same code which is included in the same category:

                protected boolean navigationClick(int status, int time) {

                        PhoneArguments call = new PhoneArguments (PhoneArguments.ARG_CALL, phonenumber1);
                        Invoke.invokeApplication(Invoke.APP_TYPE_PHONE, call);

                    return true;
                }

    This is related to another button.  So, basically, I want to get back with one button, and then, after that, phone number click on another button which then places the call to the stored number.

    To NOTE ALSO: That the compiler catches the variable 'phonenumber1' in this second batch of code and it gives me the error:

    "phonenumber1 cannot be resolved.

    I use the plugin eclipse with JDE 4.7.

    I'm sure it's something simple, but for the life of me, I can't understand it.  Any help is greatly appreciated!  Thanks in advance!

    If the variable is accessible by several methods in your class, it is a variable 'Member' and should be declared outside any method.

    Like this:

    public class {Foobar

    String foo;   //<--- this="" variable="" has="" global="" scope="" within="" the="" class="" and="" is="" visible="" to="" all="">

    public Foobar() {}

    }

    }

    My sincere suggestion is that you get a book of java and runs on java before trying to work on Blackberry.

    Java focus on the Blackberry is a bit like learning mechanics auto on a pit crew at the Indianapolis 500, with one hand tied behind your back.

    I am trying to retrieve the phone number of a unit of BB 10.  Testing with the ripple and the BlackBerry 10 Dev Simulator.  I tried many variations, and when the code runs is always that the phone is not always defined.  All the world made a call to blackberry.identity.phone.getLineIds () or blackberry.identity.phone.getLineNumber ()?

    If so, post you the code and the config.XML you used to get this working?

  • Extraction of fixed phone number valid in the chain

    Hello

    We have field Phone_Number where data from the source system are as below:

    OFFICE: 026346644 # MOBILE: 0506212159

    MOBILE: 055-4705510 # OFFICE: 06-5035522/530

    Problem - we need to extract the valid landline phone number United Arab Emirates UNITED string ignoring the remaining details. Guys like 'OFFICE', ' MOBILE in the data are not significant and should not be considered. Even if the chain has several fixed phone number valid UNITED Arab Emirates, from 1 single value among them.

    Approach: We use regular expression check with 'Match list contains' but check only works on any value and not on the substring or part of the chain. Please suggest.

    Thank you

    Amol

    Hello Amol,

    Control RegEx is an 'Audit' processor then it will only tell you if a value passes or fails a control. If you want to return a value [i.e. phone number retrieves] then you will need to use the replacement of match or regex regex. Yes, regex to works on the entire chain, so you will need to write your regular expression as a result to find the phone number in among other content by using a capture group [Regex Tutorial - parentheses for grouping and capture]

    Thank you
