  I would try first to leave the CC app and all the other Adobe products. If the window is empty, you can force it quit Activity Monitor/Task Manager. Then restart CC app and see if she comes to life.

• How can I configure Thunderbird to search for addresses in my personal address book only?

  I created several address lists to store the addresses of the different groups. I also placed these addresses that I use most often in my personal address book. When you select OPTIONS in the TOOLS section of my address book, on the COMPOSITION, ADDRESS tab I see the box to select "when addressing messages, look for corresponding entries: local address books." It would be so useful and such a time saving in order to have the additional option of my personal address book only.

  When you open a new message of Scripture the "Spelling" option on the toolbar of Composition will be grayed out. It's normal.
  When you start to compose a text, the "Spelling" option turns black and is operational.

• Starting lineup by hitting a marker

  Then I tried searching and searching, but can't find answers. Here's what I'm trying to achieve:

  1. I have a comp with a lower third animation in and out (text and image).

  2. I would like to create 2 markers on this Primer of comp. Marker1 animation in the lower third, and Marker2 starts the animation of the output.

  So when I move the markers, the lower third part starts output hitting these markers. Yes, I could just move the layer comp, but this is no challenge. I'm learning :-)

  Anyone got any ideas on how this could be done?

  I appreciate your efforts to learn, but one of the most important things to learn when you work in production is to know how to act effectively.

  Here are some rules established for 1/3 lower graphics. The time it takes for a viewer to read and understand a graph lower 1/3 is fairly constant. Generally, you are much better make every 1/3 lower graphics in your program of the same length. If you want to have a few different lengths for your chart, then it is better to make different models.

  From your description, it seems that you add your 1/3 lower your program inside AE. It is a very inefficient way of working. In almost all cases, if your AE comp has more than one shot or a short sequence then you lose production time fiddling around with the wrong tool for editing. 90% of my compositions are a shot which is typically 7 seconds or less. The other 10% are sequences that last no longer than a sentence or two or sometimes a paragraph in the voice over. All editing is done in an NLE. It is much faster in the long run. On very rare occasions, I'll use AE to accomplish something on a stage that is a few minutes long, but when this happens, the scene is already published and all part of the same part of a story and my AE comp is only a few layers which extend to the entire scene. You will see that when you start to think of the EA as a tool to make the shots and a NLE as a tool for editing the shots in history that your productivity will increase by a factor of about 10.

  Last point, if I have a bunch of 1/3 below, that I always do an AE model that can be used in Premiere Pro that has text editable. An asset in Premiere Pro that can be used for 100 different people in a 2-hour program where you change the copy directly in the Premiere Pro sequence. All it takes is to check the Advanced Composition settings tab.

  I guess I'll mention another point. It is quite possible to use markers or entry points and car animation layers using expressions. I do it all the time. Most of my graphics animated in the explainer videos have any keyframes. I just create the graphic in Illustrator on separate layers, position the layers in artificial intelligence in their resting position, then import the file HAVE as a model and start applying pre-defined animations and setting in and out points. Most of the time all I have to do is to sequence layers and points of entry and to match the narrative and I'm done. Here is an example of one of my most used presets. A graph flys in left side and bounces at the stop, then just before the ends of the layer that it falls out of the comp disappear from the image exactly on the diagram point. There are some controls added to the layer effects, so I can customize the fly at the time, the rate of decay rebound and other things. Here is the preset animation.   You can position any layer size anywhere you want in a model at all scales and then to apply the preset. The layer moves just outside the box to the left to the place in a fall off the screen at the point of exit. Dive into this idea a bit and learn expressions and you can save yourself a lot of time.   I am a beginner and I wanted to start a new project where I create a karaoke video.

  I make a line of text at a time, and I realized how highlight every word during playback of the song.

  I wonder how do I transition to the next line or the whole text.  For example, if I write 'Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells' How do I get this text disappear and the next line appears?  Each line is a separate layer?

  It is about a zillion times easier and faster to do in Premiere Pro with simple animated titles. It is much easier to do longer projects like this in an NLE.

  If you insist to do everything in After Effects then you will in the end upward with a separate layer for each line of lyrics you want to animate on the screen. There are ways to analyze a voice on track in Premiere Pro and extract the words, then put those words on markers in an audio file and import this file into AE to help you with the time, but it's always easier in the first Pro.

  AE home build a model long enough for your longer sentence and set some type of place holder

  Open the Advanced Composition settings tab then check the box that says editable in Premiere Pro

  

  Save the AE project and import it in Premiere Pro

  When you deposit each new sentence in Premiere Pro adjust the time of the purchase of words using the extensible tool in the chronology of the sequence

  That's all.

  If you would like three or four styles of fade in and out, then make 3 or 4 model comps.

  If you stay inside the AE just start adding text layers, text animations and key all words framing by hand. Create the animation preset may help, but the first suggestion will be the fastest.

• "Cascading" business rules composite form of Tabs

  Long post. I'm here for the ACEs in the stem. In 11.1.2.2.300, we have a composite form with multiple shapes in the form of tabs. Two of these forms have business rules that run on individual forms, not on the Composite shape. Three of these forms have no business rules that run when recording. The following behavior is:

  1. when we open the composite shape to a tab of a form without top business rules and click on save, the data is committed.

  2. when we opened the composite shape to a tab of a form that has a business rule that works on record and click on save, the data are engaged and the business rule is executed.

  3. the problem is there: when we open the composite shape to a tab of a form that has a company that rule runs on save and then we open a DIFFERENT tab with a DIFFERENT shape which has NO business rule to this subject, and click on save the data on the open tab/form is committed and the business rule goes against the members on the OPEN form. Not the form that made the business rule to this topic.

  4. If, after step three, you open a different form that also has a top business rule and press on save, it runs both the business rule in the open form, AND the business rule of form before.

  Is this a bug? For?

  2. click on the tab B. press on save. Data committed to the database. B rule business runs.

  3. click on the tab C. press save. Data committed to the database. Company B of the rule is running on members on form C.

  4. click on tab D. press save. Data committed to the database. Company B of the rule is running on members of business of d. form rule, D runs.

  5. click on the tab E. press save. Data committed to the database. Company B of the rule is running on members of the form E. company rule D works on members of the form E.

  NOW the weird part!

  1. open the composite shape - see formula.

  2. click on tab D.

  3. click on the tab B. press on save. Data committed to the database. Business rule B runs first on the members on the form B. business rule D then runs on Member on form B.

  Our first theory was that because BR B came first in alphabetical order in the calc Manager, B pulled before. We have this disproved by renaming and changing the order of B and D in calc Manager. BR B always run before D. BR our second theory was that the business rules are executed based on the order in which they appear in the tabs. But we have refuted this as well. We concluded that the order of business rules is in order that their "links" exist in the rules on the Composite shape. Help!

  Tried this on our system and we have same question... It looks like another bug in EMP 11.1.2.3... SR trigger with the support of the oracle, they could fix it in future versions...

• How do adjust you the height of page so that one tab of a composition?

  Working under a Composition, I want to adjust the height of page one in the composition.  I don't want to change page size to influence other pages under different tabs (within the same composition).  Is there a way to do this?

  If you are referring to resize each tab/trigger in the composition then you can resize the contents of the box container, but the frame would be for all so widget framework would increase to cover the area that extend you to any tab.

  You will need to use either different compositions or Panel widget.

• Composite planning form, copy data from one tab to the other?

  This is something I've heard of someone who did but have not actually seen. The requirement is to copy data from an existing entity to a new entity as a means of values seedlings early in the budget cycle. I was thinking about a form of 'source' and a form of 'target' within a composite shape. A calc would make a copy. After copying the Scheduler can manually adjust values, or type values in the accounts that the source had no data.

  If someone did please let me know how you did and what looked like the calc.

  Yes, this can be done in several ways. The calc script would be similar to what is mentioned above. But in regards to the copy, you can also create a menu on the source form set a rule of company on the menu and start the copy that also offer users the ability to choose several invited outside of the entity if necessary.

• Where is my SHIPMENT tab?

  Open a window of writing.
  You have a Menu bar with file-Edit-View etc?
  If this is not the case, press the alt key to bring up.
  The Menu bar, select View-Toolbars and relight the toolbars.
  Sending is on the Composition toolbar.

  It is not possible. I do not show a menu view/toolbar above the entry bar. I right and left clicks on both and do not have this option.

• Tabs glitching, videos goes silent

  Sometimes when I close a tab, the next he tab changes will be glitch out and have a few artifacts from the site I was immediately. For example, I have a tab on Google.com and a video on Youtube in another. If I close the youtube video and go to the tab of google, the youtube tab items will appear on the tab of google.

  Regarding the videos goes silent, it mainly youtube. When I watch a video and you want to skip ahead, the video will act as if it was the break. The pause button will change to the symbol of the room instead, but will not change to pause when I click it. The video will continue to play and the audio will be completely muted. So far, the only way to fix it was to close and reopen the tab. So far, it happens mostly when I go full screen.

  I'll try to get a picture of the first problem, but the second problem is so random, I'm afraid that I won't be able to get something to show.

  The seeds just started recently? 33 Firefox introduced a new feature called 'off hand Thread Compositing"(OMTC). There is a preference to turn this off if you want to try it. You will need to exit and start Firefox again after the change is made.

  (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

  (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste the layer and take a break while the list is filtered

  (3) double-click the preference layers.offmainthreadcomposition.enabled from true to false.
