Hello
There are a few things you can try:
Change the resolution of the screen;
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/change-screen-resolution
If that fixed it, go to the website of your computer manufacturer > drivers download Section > then key in your computer model number > find your operating system > find two graphics / video or from the Chipset drivers and download and install.
Then try to change the screen resolution.
Or do a system restore to before that happened.

How to configure startup programs
Something seems to be continually downloading in the background, and the computer is so slow, it is booting? On Saturday, may 5, 2012 12:58:21 + 0000, joodZO wrote:

Since the very little information you provided, I do not know why
He runs slowly. But two points:1. first of all, note that you should be concerned all the programs
starts automatically, not only those who enter in the system tray.
Not all the programs auto-start manifesting by an icon in the
Status bar.On each program, you don't want to automatically start, check its
Options to see if he has the choice of not start (make sure you)
Indeed choose not to run, not just a "don't show icon.
Optional). Many can easily and better be arrested like that. If that is not
work, run MSCONFIG from the start. Run the line, and then click the Startup tab.
Uncheck the programs that you do not want to automatically start. However, if I were you, I wouldn't do it just for the application of
the minimum number of running programs. Despite what many people say
You should be concerned, not with the way that a lot of these programs
you run, but who. Some of them can degrade performance severely, but
others have no effect on performance.Don't stop all programs to run willy-nilly. What you need to do
is to determine what each program is, what its value is up to you which
the performance cost is its running all the time. You can try
Internet search and ask questions about the details here.Once you have this information, you can make a smart informed
decision on what you want to keep and what you want to get rid of.2. the computer running slowly is very often due to a malware
infection. What anti-virus and anti-spyware programs do you run?Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP

Every thing seems to have returned to normal, but when I restarted my computer all the icons on my desktop and all programs in the start menu disappeared, and yet, all programs are always in: Control Panel > add/REMOVE programs. I can still connect to the internet by going to-Start > my computer > view > go to the desktop. How to get back all the icons on my desktop. I tried a click right, but in vain. I also ran a scan complete antivirus. any help would be appreciated.
Thank you Joel S. Before I could put your advice into practice a friend recommended a friend who advised me to do a system restore, which he said he would be happy to do it for me. So look like an easy option, I agreed. It seems to have solved the problem (fingers crossed), but now it seems that I need to format the hard drive. If you have any tips on formatting hard drive I'm all ears. Thank you Owen

When I turned on my computer, my desktop icons are much larger than they should be. If you go online, you cannot see the entire page because everything is so great. I tried to do a system restore, and it does not work. Also, my icon of recycle bin is out of the office. Can someone help me with this problem?
Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer/laptop > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Vista drivers > download/install them.
Then:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-AU/Windows-Vista/change-screen-resolution
Change the screen resolution
Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.

2 people called me on my home phone, told me that they were Microsoft Windows, that I got error report to Microsoft from my computer and they went into my computer remotely and was told that they could fix. They said that my Windows guarantee had expired (on a less than 1 year old computer) and wanted to sell me a 1 year for $ 25 years more more money. I told them that I need to check. Less than 10 minutes passed and another call. It's when they said my computer was crashing. I told them it was covered by insurance, they hung up. I haven't lost a few programs but nothing that I can't live. They have external access to my computer. First thing I had to do was press on keyboard and the letter r windows icon as it took me to a Web site called showmypc.com. These people really represent Windows - Microsoft? If this isn't the case, who should I report it to? They also originally (before I have them checked) gave me a call back number in case I changed my mind. 1800 651-2595 but told me it would cost me 125.00.

At the same time, there is no problem on my laptop which runs under Win XP and with the same internet provider! Any suggestion will be appreciatedOriginal title: problems with Win7 and MozillaFirefox
Hi Ulica,
Thank you to contact Microsoft Community and we will be happy to help you with your concern.
According to the description, it looks like you are facing an Internet problem on the Windows 7 operating system.
It would be great if you can answer these questions to help you further.
1. is the question confined with Mozilla Firefox?
2 are you able to access the same Web site using Internet Explorer?
3. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
4 are you facing this problem while accessing the secure Web site?
Problem with Internet Explorer, I would suggest trying the following methods and check.
Method 1:
I suggest you add this particular website as a trusted site and check.
To add a Web site to a security zone: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Security-zones-adding-or-removing-websites
Method 2:
I suggest you to see the steps in the following Microsoft article and check.
Can't access some Web sites in Internet Explorer: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/967897
You cannot connect to or connect to secure in Internet Explorer Web sites: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/813444
Why can't I view some websites? http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/why-cant-I-view-some-websites
Note: There are rather than Internet Explorer 9 as well.
Note: The feature reset the Internet Explorer settings can reset security settings or privacy settings that you have added to the list of Trusted Sites. Reset the Internet Explorer settings can also reset parental control settings. We recommend that you note these sites before you use the reset Internet Explorer settings.
Method 3:
Internet Explorer not responding, stops working, or restarts: http://support.microsoft.com/gp/PC_IE_EnvManualID
Note: If the question is limited only with Mozilla Firefox, I suggest you to post the same question in the Mozilla Firefox's Support Forums.

What type/model of CPU do you have in your host? Make sure that in the case of an Intel - "Virtualization technology (VT - X)" as "Execute Disable Bit (XD)" - are "enabled." In the case of an AMD processor, it's 'No Execute (NX)' which must be enabled. Make sure that you turn on the host after changing any of these settings in the BIOS, a simple reboot may not be enough.
If this does not resolve the problem, please join the virtual machine vmware.log file to a response message.

Hello world! I'm french so if I speak wrong forgive me. For my work I need to buy adobe acrobat and the problem is I'll maybe change my computer, but not now. If I have installed adobe acrobat in my computer would it be possible to install the software in my future computer without purchasing another license that is to say with the same license that I bought?
Yes, you can reinstall it on other machines, if you wish, without having to buy new. A license allows for activating facilities on two machines and if necessary, you can turn off a machine in order to allow the activation of another.

Problem with the PrintJob background and default
Hello, I have a problem with PrintJob - print in pdf format.
I want to print bitmaps with transparency and vectors.
I checked all the options and still have a gray background under the bitmaps and vectors. This is the background color from scene.
It seems to me that flash is printing in bitmap mode no matter what I do.Anyone know how to print MovieClip/Bitmap without default background. I send to print bitmap/movieclip with transparency, but the output is always packed bitmap.var pj:PrintJob = new PrintJob(); var sheets:MovieClip;// = new Sprite(); var options:PrintJobOptions = new PrintJobOptions(); options.printAsBitmap = false; var dodd:MovieClip = new MovieClip(); stage.addChild(dodd); var pagesToPrint:uint = 0; if (pj.start()) { for (var i:int = 0; i < pages.length; i++) { sheets = new MovieClip(); //sheets.graphics.beginFill(0xFF0000, 0); //sheets.graphics.beginBitmapFill(pages[i].getChildAt(0).bitmapData, null, false, true); /*sheets.graphics.lineStyle(0,0,0); sheets.graphics.drawRect(0, 0, pj.pageWidth, pj.pageHeight); sheets.graphics.endFill();*/ sheets.addChild(pages[i]); dodd.addChild(sheets); try { pj.addPage(sheets, new Rectangle(0, 0, pj.pageWidth, pj.pageHeight) , options); pagesToPrint++; } catch(e:Error) { // do nothing } } if(pagesToPrint > 0) { pj.send(); } while(dodd.numChildren>0){ dodd.removeChildAt(0); } stage.removeChild(dodd); dodd = null; }
using actionscript, create "pages" with a white background and content you want, and then print these new pages.
