    Hello

Try please solve it as described on this Microsoft article http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=293078

Generally, the display driver installation should help. As you know sometimes it is not easy to fix this kind of problem and sometimes is much better recovery procedure.

You can not write about any common problem if you n t know exactly why this happens. If you are recovering the unit it will be working well. A negative influence on the graphic can have some games preinstalled or many other additional software.

  • Installation of the SP3 for XP now crush the latest system updates or interfere with programs like IE 8?

In all other ways my XP system is up-to-date, with the exception of SP3. I never needed before. SP1 and SP2 have been installed at the time when they were new. Now SP3 is required to upgrade to some new programs. Installation of the SP3 at this late date crush the latest system updates or interfere with programs like IE 8? I don't want that my system is back to older parameters which are now outdated. If the system settings are changed, how do I know those who?

    No, this does not disturb.

    Hello

    We are here to help.

The reason why your PC restarts after you turn it off, it's because there is something wrong which makes crashing. Normally, there will be an error message coming up, like Blue Screen of Death, when it crashes instead of rebooting the system. But for some reason, your PC is defined as automatically restart and hide the real problem of your PC.

To change the settings, please follow the steps below:

    1. Click the Start button
    2. Type ""sysdm.cpl " without the quotes, and then press enter."
    3. Click the Advanced tab
    4. Click on the settings button under the ' start and Recovery ' part.
    5. In the new window you are invited there, uncheck automatically restart under the part of the system failure .
    6. Then, click OK

With these changes, Windows will restart is no longer after closing down instead he will now take the error message that your PC can be seen.

    Kind regards.

  • Log on problem after installation of the sp3

Hi there forgive me if this is old news, but I just bought an old laptop for children. The seller has installed xp pro top with IE 8.

I installed the latest java, W. Media Player. I had a browse through updates and he said that auto updates can not be read if my system is up to date. So I thought that I should install SP3. Once this is done I did the reboot and start-up of the machine re I got the newspaper of the administrator on request of password. When I bought this machine and it works, he never requested a password and went directly to the screen, probably because it was only a single account. the seller told me that he had installed a hard drive cool and a new copy of XP pro. There is a sticker on the back of the machine activation key.

I tried many combinations of passwords, including the sellers name, leave blank and just pressing ENTER. tried Ctrl alt del all resulted in nothing.

I contacted the seller and he said that he never put a password and therefore cannot (or will not help) I looked on the web for some ideas, including starting in safe mode, but the info it says it will ask for a password, but I am. I am now locked out of my machine. Help, please. Thank you

If I bought a used computer, no matter who previously owned the
first thing I could do with it would be to reinstall the operating
system itself. You don't know how the computer has been maintained,
which has been improperly installed, what's missing, what virus and
There may be spyware, etc. I would not live with someone
other errors and problems, possibility of kiddy p0rn, etc. and I
would not recommend anyone else to do.

Your choice of course, but in my opinion, you're playing with fire if you
    do not reinstall Windows properly.

    Thanks for the reply.

You are welcome. Happy to help you.

To do a clean install, what I have to buy a new version or I can just a xp pro disc and reuse the key at the back of the machine, provided that they are ok.

If you have a product key on a sticker, it's an OEM version. You can
use the disc to a friend, if the sound is also OEM. Try to find a friend with the
    same brand of computer.

  • Blue screen after installation of the updates of Windows in Windows 8.

    Original title: does not

I clicked on the option Update and shut down and out... when I got home and he lit his does not... its simply display a blue color... what should I do?

We need the DMP file because it contains the single record of the sequence of events that led to the accident, what drivers have been loaded, and what has been loaded.

WE NEED AT LEAST TWO FILES DMP TO SPOT TRENDS AND TO CONFIRM THE DIAGNOSIS.

If you're overclocking (pushing components beyond their design) return you to default at least until the crash is resolved. If you don't know what it is that you're probably not overclocking.
You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting in SafeMode (F8) with networking.
If you are overclocking stop.  (chances are that if you are unsure if you are, you are not)

  • Satellite P300 itself keeps restarting after the initial splash screen.

My Satellite P300 itself keeps restarting after the initial splash screen.

Start-up of the first screen with the F2 and F12 options down is displayed, the screen goes black, then a cursor appears in the upper left corner and flashes once or twice. Then the laptop stops and restarts and goes through the same process again and again.

That's all with the power adapter is plugged in. If disconnected, he goes through the above process and close with no reboot.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
