Computer react not or installation keyboard during start-up

My computer shut down and I need start in the last known configuration mode. My computer does not meet my keyboard as it has become uninstalled. I get a black screen after the windows start page logo and it will not go to the login page. I'm at my wits end with this diagnosis.

I need to solve the problem of keyboard first to go further.

It was a warning here my anti virus software. In any case as I mentoned until I have to get my keybord first working useful suggestions on what to do. Before I can restart after the windows welcome screen.

Keyboards are fairly easy to find and borrow. Use a different keyboard, the PC back on, press the F8 key repeatedly until you see this Menu of Options Advance:
Select the highlighted option: last good known Configuration.

  • Computer does not detect my keyboard (yamaha psr-e323)

I'm trying to connect my keyboard to my computer vista laptop. I have already installed the driver for my midi cable (tab e-mu 1 x 1) and Yamaha musicsoft downloading. The musicsoft downloader can detect my keyboard, but not the songs I recorded on it, I can not send midi files from my laptop to the keyboard either. Some other programs, audacity and such, can not detect it either. Somehow, only synthesia works perfectly well.

I thought that this could be because I did not install the midi driver Yamaha, so I downloaded it. However, the installation process did not detect my keyboard either, I just got a message that said I connect my camera while it was connected (midi in-> out,-> out midi in).

Does anyone know how to fix this?

You can get in trouble with your device drivers.  Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get drivers (and you should you do to the keyboard at least and all others you have time to do - they help way beyond simply solve this problem), let the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows:http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/. Follow these steps to get the drivers: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/ht/driverdlmfgr.htm.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html. Make sure driver debice arises and is functioaing properly.

Are you sure that the keyboard is compatibble with your version of Vista? http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-Vista/

The old stilll keyboard works fine on the computer?  Have you tried the new keyboard on another computer to see if it works there?

Who is the manufacturer of the keyboard?  Does it come with the firmware or software tha must also be installed?

Go to start / Control Panel / Add Hardware and have the system search and install a new hardware it finds.  It can find and install your keyboard.

I hope this helps.  Keep me posted.

  • My computer does not support my keyboard more

    Hello community,

Day before yesterday, I've known serious problems with my keyboard. My windows cannot successfully install driver on my keyboard, and I can't use it. I tried to use another keyboard with no luck.
I did a search on my own, I have tried to re - install manually the drivers but no luck. I tried to restore my system, but I thought that late. I was not able to restore my system 3 days I have there is cause of windows had not created a restore point. I tried to update my windows via windows update, but no new update is available.
So I decided to go online. I checked the Web site of the keyboard for the updates, but it does take place, cause my keyboard works with plug-and-play (it automatically installs the drivers when necessary), then I checked the responses from microsoft. I downloaded the fix it program from a specific thread on this site about drivers and hardware. The program has realized the error, tried to reinstall the drivers, but the drivers has not can be installed. Then the patch there software looked for new drivers on the web without bringing positive results.
Right now the only thing I can think of is formatting my drive and reinstall windows. I'm not sure, if this will fix my problem.
    My system:
Office of OEM running legit windows 7 67-bit Home Premium
My keyboard is called slim keyboard, Logitech that works with plug-and-play (as I told you I pluged in my machine another keyboard, has experienced the same problem)
    Any help appreciated.
    Kind regards

    Hello

    -Is it a USB keyboard?
-What is the FIXIT you have tried to solve this problem?
-You are aware of any changes made on the computer before this problem?
-If it is a USB keyboard, have you tried plugging in various ports and on another computer to see if it works. If so, what was the result?

As all devices have same also have USB device associated drivers. Appropriate sometimes drivers not detected after initial installation so reinstalling the drivers can fix the problems.

You can check after uninstalling and reinstalling USB drivers if you are able to connect. You can disconnect all USB devices and then perform the following steps:

    a. click Start, then Control Panel.

    b. click system and Maintenance, click System, and then click on Device Manager.

Note: If the Control Panel is in Classic view, double-click Systemand then click on Device Manager .

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or clickAllow.

    (c) in the Device Manager, double-click to expand 'Bus USB controllers', right-click on the host controller, click "Uninstall" and click "OK".
Check that if at all, there is an exclamation point on the pilot, it suggests problems with the installed driver.

    d. repeat step 2 to Uninstall all items under 'Universal Serial Bus controllers ".

Then, restart your computer and Windows 7 will automatically reinstall all USB controllers.

If you are still having the same problem then you can check the device USB drivers updated using windows update. See the following help link:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly
If the edge of the question persists I'll ask allows you to check the chipset driver updates you find on the manufacturer's website. The chipset drivers normally integrate USB controller drivers as well.

  • Error: "Windows could not update the configuration to start the computer. Installation cannot move forward"during the installation of Windows 8 64-bit OEM System Builder on Macbook Pro for help using Boot Camp

    Hello

I have a brand new Macbook pro and I bought the OEM System Builder of 64-bit Windows 8 driver in a store. My problem is that I have not only not able to install it using Boot Camp. At the end of the installation, a message appears with the following text "Windows could not update the configuration to start the computer. Installation cannot continue.

I'm not really a tech guy but I also tried to download virtual box and the same error comes back.

    Can someone help me please?

    Thank you!

The thread is old now, but it is for those who always have this problem.

When I got the error, I cancelled and restarted the machine. I pressed the 'option' button when starting upwards and he grew the boot partitions. You should see a 'EFI Boot' partition. Choose that and you restart the installation process, but this time it works.

Supposedly the boot EFI and WinInstall partition should do the same thing. Manually, select one or the other.

  • Windows could not update the Configuration to start the computer. Installation cannot continue.

Trying to move from XP to Vista Ultimate.  During installation, the installation gets to 21% on the files and then closes and I get the error "Windows could not update the configuration to start the computer. Installation cannot continue.  Can someone help me with this?

the problem has been fixed. I started on the dvd to see if I could install it outside of windows. I discovered that I could just install from windows. When I came out, I came across a repair button.  Who find startup errors and fixed them.  I then rebooted and went into windows and was able to install.

  • "Windows could not update the configuration to start the computer" error during the upgrade of Vista in Windows XP

I have a laptop Dell Inspiron 1505, that is running Windows XP Media Center Sp3. I'm doing a place in upgrading to Vista since the disks to upgrade Dell... Everything's fine until the 'Expansion of the files' [27%], then the installation fails with this message: "Windows could not update the configuration to start the computer. Installation cannot continue. Any changes made to your computer during the upgrade". I did a google search for a fix that involves changing a value in the registry in the HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\ {4D36E976-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} for example change the value to PartMgr Upperfilters. Unfortunately, this value was the default for my registry key changes could be made. Some other fixes involved the renaming of Upperfilter.bak, for Upperfilters unfortunately this .bak value does not exist in my registry.

I tried to boot from the disk of Vista and changing the msconfig for a selective startup but without result.

In addition, the stall even appears at a similar point when you try to upgrade to Windows 7. Is it because of the presence of hidden Media Direct and Dell restore partitions? Compatibility Assistant programs for the two operating systems found nothing significant. Anti virus has been disabled during the installation procedure. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello

Not quite, but pretty close. Media Direct could not lock the boot sector. It must be a BIOS lock or a mechanism of protection provided by your antivirus software.  Given that, I would check your program settings then for all that prevents changes to the boot sector. You may find more easy just uninstall it and reinstall it after the upgrade. Good luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Crazy" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com Windows help - www.rickrogers.org

My computer does not start on my hard drive after installation of my new printer MFP M127FW unless I have first of all disconnect the USB cable between the printer and then turn on the computer.  My BIOS is set to boot from my drive hard, not from a USB key, so that makes installing the drivers M127FW MFP and software do on my computer?  I guess it has something to do with the Smart Install feature.

  • Keyboard Microsoft Wireless 1000 and a Microsoft wireless optical mouse 2000 - my computer does not start.

    Hello.

I have Microsoft Wireless 1000 keyboard and an optical mouse wireless Microsoft 2000, they worked fine on my old computer with XP.

Now, I bought an Acer Predator G3620 with Windows 7 and my computer does not start. He stops and beeps when it says "Press DEL to enter setup", this continues to the repeat. When I use the wired Acer keyboard and mouse the computer starts normally.

When I inserted the original CD with the drivers, it gave an error of compatibility with this version of windows. So I downloaded the drivers and everything seemed fine. But when I start the computer (or reboot) I have to disconnect the transmitter/receiver or the computer stops and beeps.

Once the computer is turned on, I can reconnect the transceiver, and it works fine.

Find it me hard to believe that it has to bee like that.

I have to buy a new keyboard and mouse?

    Brgs,

    Robert

Go into the BIOS of the ACER and set it for legacy USB, USB mouse, USB keyboard, or along those lines...

Then, go here for the drivers...
